Thanks so much Nickster!

I am taking your advice and chowing down on all the luscious delicacies that I can for right now... ...bring on the chocolate, starbucks, and diet cherry vanilla coke! I thought I was tired from the prog shots, but I think I just miss my caffeine!

I really hope April is the month for me. I will definitely let all of you know how it goes - from start to finish  Oh my! Round 2 - here we come. This time, I may try accupuncture - I figure what the heck - might as well give it my all. Charlotte on Sex and the City did it

DH is being so sweet. I love him so much.

Best of luck to all of you! Let's do it again, sisters!! :)

Amy -- I was so sorry to hear your news. My heart goes out to you. Its so devastating month after month. And it does seem that everyone I know seems to accidently get pregnant but us. It will happen for you. We're all praying for you. ... I have to say though, I didn't hear you mention that bottle of wine. That was always the first thing I wanted with a negative result. If you can have a drink, you might as well. Please keep us all posted next time around. Best of luck.

Nickster -- Yes, most of my cramping seemed to be in the evening hours. I don't know if I was just more tired by then or what. But one night it was really uncomfortable trying to sleep. Between that and the worry of the 2ww I don't think I slept at all. I was certain AF was on her way. I had another friend who was successful with two IVFs have opposite symptoms. Her first IVF she had no symptoms at all. The end result was twin girls. Last year she had alot of cramping and was also certain she wasn't pregnant. The end result was twin boys. So I guess there is just no way to know.

This seems like a bittersweet sort of week. I want to be excited and hopeful for us who are continuing to pray for continued good results, but at the same time I feel awful for you ladies who got negative results. Best of luck to everyone. I know none of us has had a good or easy time. If we had, we wouldn't be here now. I know though that everyone's support has been really helpful. Thank you.

Well ladies, I thought yeaterday might have been the end of my road. I woke up yesterday afternoon (I work nights) cramping real bad with a lot of back pain. A couple hours later with the cramps still going on, I started to spot. At first it was just a small amount but the second time I went to the bathroom it was more. I cried like crazy!
Then later, the cramps kind of went away and I had 2 times when I went to the bathroom and had a very small amount of pink tinged "stuff". Nothing so far today and just mild cramping. I don't know what to think. I don't test until Monday the 26th and I'm going crazy!

Suezer,
I definitely will be dipping into our wine stash starting Friday night! You got that right :D I am feeling a little better. Nobody at work knows that I went through this process, so it was nice not to have to talk about it at work all day. It's depressing, but we're gonna give it another shot. Keep us in your thoughts and I'll do the same!

Nickster,
Sister - spotting means nothing! Please don't freak out yet. You have to hang in there until Monday. I have everything crossed for you. Think happy thoughts and know that we are pulling for a BFP for you. Please, please, please take it easy this weekend. Do something nice for yourself... ...YOU DESERVE IT... ...and get you mind off this TWW madness. Go out with DH and enjoy yourselves. Positive thoughts, blessings, and tons of Baby Dust sent your way!

Later gators,
Amy

Amy~
Thanks for the positive thoughts! I wasn't as worried about the spotting as I was the HORRIBLE cramps that came along with it! It just sooo much felt like the beginning of AF. I've had a little cramping since then and so far no more spotting so I guess we'll just wait and see. I'm just hoping and praying for the best!
How are you doing? I hope the wine and chocolate are at least making things a little better. I do have to say I am completely jealous of that whole chocolate thing!!! I went to walgreens the other day and passed by the Easter candy isle. It was hard to pass up!!!
I hope you're doing ok. April really is going to be your month. I already have my fingers crossed for ya!
When do you go talk to the doctor?

Hey there everyone,
I've been feeling better emotionally the last 2 days. I'm flip flopping though on my thought process. One minute I think.... :) YEP I'M PREGNANT! next I'm thinking :( No, I'm not pregnant, and I'm gonna have to take a break and get a job for awhile. I still have no symptoms except for an occational twag in my ovary and grion area which never last long. also, I have not had any kind of spotting. I didn't ever get bad cramps during AF so I know what I'm feeling isn't the same thing. The kind of cramping I use to get from AF wasn't in my belly but in my inner thighs. I wish I wouldn't worry so much about a BFP or BFN, but it's so hard not to. I still have a week to go. I ask all of you ladies to pray that I just give this over to God and stop worrying, I know that's what I'm trying to do.

Congrats to all the ladies with the BFPs! :D

Heart felt sympathy to those that did not have the desired results

Nickster -
I'm so glad to hear the horrible cramping has subsided for you a bit! Girl, you have until Monday and I am totally stoked to hear your huge BFP! It will put a huge smile on my face! :D The wine and chocolate are so fantabulous... ...I must say, it's the one good thing about BFN. Nickster, you're so great - thanks for your continued thoughts and positivity. I really hope April will be it for me... ...getting excited about it! I'll keep you all posted after my consult with RE on March 7th. Girlie, go out to eat and see a movie this weekend with DH to make your time go quickly! Just stay out of the drug stores with all the Easter chocolate displays :) I'm really crossing everything for you! It's gonna be BFP!!

Schel67 -
When do you test? I know exactly what you're going through - that TWW is the most horrendous an emotional time  If you try to keep yourself busy, that may help keep your mind off it. Although, just as I say that - it's really all you're going to think about until your beta test day! Just go with the positive thoughts and completely ignore the negative ones. It's the one thing that you can do to keep yourself sane. You hang in there, girlie... ...I'm crossing everything for your BFP too!!!

Hope you all are doing well and please keep us all updated on your progress!

Praying for everyone!
Have a wonderful day,
Amy

Hello all,
I have done four unsuccessful IUI's and finally moved on to my first IVF cycle. Our only problem is mild male factor. I had 19 eggs, with ICSI 12 fertilized. We had 2 blasts transferred yesterday, and we had 6 blasts to freeze. We are hoping and praying like everyone else that this will work.. I am not sure about anyone else but our insurance does not cover the cost and it was very expensive. Anyone with similar results, I would love to hear about it. I take my pg test in about a week. Baby dust to all!! Good luck.

schel67 I wouldnt worry too much about the chocolate. I ate it and drank hot coco while in my two week wait almost everyday. I got a BFP last week. Some people think that its not a good idea, but how can chocolate not be a good idea????

Good luck all

To Amy, GeckoGirl, and all the other ladies w/BFN....

I'm sooo sorry to hear the news. It is such a horrible emotional roller coaster! But please keep the hopes up and keept the faith, all my positive thought and prayers are with you all.

I don't post much but reading through these blogs helped me keep my sanity throughout the whole process.

It was my first IVF cycle w/ positive pregnancy test and I feel so blessed by God that we're pregnant! My cycle was a 2-blastocyst 5 day transfer on 2/5/07 and my hCG test was 2/14/07 (Beautiful Valentine's Day gift!). At my clinic there was a lady w/the same cycle as I and it was her 5th IVF...she too got a positive beta test, so please don't loose hope!

Again, all my prayers and positive thoughts go out to all you ladies...
Ixi :)

Love my chocolate!

Thanks Aly for telling me your view and experience with chocolate. I will not worry any more. I will probably still cut back on it though.

Schel67,
I wouldn't sweat the small stuff. I don't even know how I know to stay away from chocolate. I think since it has caffiene in it and I stay away from caffiene it just made logical sense to me to stay away from it. Lord knows I could normally eat enough chocolate in one day to equate the same caffiene value of a large starbuck's coffee!! When do you test? I can't wait to hear your BFP! :)

IXI414,
Thanks so much for your thoughts. Honestly, this has been so difficult on DH and I, but we're going to go through it again soon. We meet with the RE next Wednesday, so I have a lot of questions. I also want to start acupuncture before we try again. I've read studies with positive conclusions stating acupuncture helps with a BFP. Can you tell I'm desperate!?

Hope all is well with everyone!!!!
Keep thinking positive thoughts!
