OK Ladies...freaking out here...

Took my first beta today, second one scheduled for 2/27 which is why I have that date on the thread. They don't tell you the results of 1st beta since they like to see the numbers go up as most of you know. Besides, today is only 7dpt5dt. So I accepted the fact it was going to feel like a very long weekend, no hpt planned and I'd just wait til Tuesday. Given the experience I had with my ET last Saturday, I wasn't exactly feeling all that good about this, but doing my best to keep the PMA.

So the phone rings 1/2 hour ago and it's the nurse from the Dr.'s office. She says I want you to increase your progesterone to 2ml's starting tonight and although we don't normally tell results for the 1st beta.....it's POSITIVE!!!!! I literally gasped. Total shock! She said we are cautiously optimistic given my last cycle, but my numbers are already better than they were last time when I tested 10dpt3dt. So it looks like I have a BFP, please pray for lots of sticky baby dust and doubling numbers on 2/27.

I will do personals later, right now I have the attention span of a flea!

Shantala, hope you are feeling better, sorry your body is reacting badly to the stims i hope it settles down in a couple of days.

As for me still hanging in there, i keep getting twinges in my lower right side, don't know what to think but not got my hopes up. Anyway at work till 5 then out for dinner with friends to celebrate his new house, and then day out tomorrow to watch the rugby, so should keep my mind off it. test at 9.30 monday then off shopping, results after 4pm.

LOL - Silly question, of course im watching the rugby. Ive had a full day of it - Scotland an Italy (Wooo wot a game - that was really over in the first 5 mins ) Now im watching Ireland and England (Come on the GREENS) Ireland deserve to win after their disapointment in their game against France - imagine that!

An of course, im getting ready for the MAIN match lol. Not that im holding out much hope mind u - but theres always hope isnt there, after all we are Welsh - never forget an all that

Not sure when we are starting again Rach, dont think we can afford another private go, its a lot of money and having 2 students who are costing us a fortune, the money situation for treatment isnt there at the moment
We will stay on the NHS list, but that list is about a year away, if not longer So looks like we are 'on hold' who knows what will happen in the future, but for now - we are going to start living our lives. We have a few things going on this year to look foward to - DH's sister is getting married in October, and being the only sister - its gonna be an event to remember - we (His sis, me and MIL) went to a wedding show last weekend - oh my god! Makes me want to do it all again lol. It's our first anniversary in march, dont think DH be too happy with me wanting to do it again so soon LOL.
And we are hoping to get away for a week down to the South of Ireland to Killarney (Sometime in Aug/Sept) its a beautiful part of Ireland, plently of walks and secnery - just what we need i think So all in all, we have plenty to occupy our minds while we wait

Hope all u other lovely ladies are doing well - im so happy to hear all the BFP's - well done ladies
But also so sad to hear of the BFN's, my heart goes out to u all ....

Hello guys!

Yay! It's officially weekend time for me! How are you doing? My DH and I have chosen a wonderful trip to Egypt that will make us see all the "must sees". THe only thing is... he had to transfer money to his Visa so we can pay for the whole trip in one payment and the transfer will only be complete on Wednesday. I just HOPE there will still be a little place for the two of us on that trip when I can finally make the reservations! In the meantime, we've made phone calls and we'll have the vaccines shortly.

Shantala: Grow follies, grow! Don't worry about making a drama out of every new step; it IS new for you and it's normal for it to be a big deal! You want to do things right and you're trying your best so all things go according to plan .Just be careful that you don't ruin your quality of life by worrying too much, however. One of the most precious things I learned through that process was to let go and not strive for control all over the place when really, there is little I can control in all this. Oh, and by the way, here's a little *slap* for you! "i am so cross with all this c**p. Excuse my French"!!!???!! Oh, so that's how you Brits make fun of my language, huh?
Oh, and about feeling funny, you'll see that the stimming meds feel differently. I felt a little more sicky with these, for no particular reason. You're making your babies, hun, it's gotta require some work!

mominwaiting! WOOOOHOOOOO! You're pregnant sweetie! CONGRATULATIONS! My pharmacist told me to trust the positive if I did it in the time frame you did it! You're MUCH less likely to get a false positive than a false negative at this point! Enjoy the next 8 months! I'll really keep everything crossed so you have a smooth pregnancy! Stick to your mommy little ones!

Ange: my friend, this is WONDERFUL NEWS! Congratulations! I'm SO happy for you! It's amazing that your body remembered... and that your embie(s) implanted so well! Enjoy the next 8 months and I really pray that your treasure(s) make(s) it through this time! Remember, each pregnancy is very different, and you got more tests before your transfer... this is all looking good!

Welshgirl: hey sweetie, I missed your posts these last few days! Your projects sound lovely! We'll be celebrating our first anniversary this year as well! But other than being "on hold"' how are you doing dearest?
