Hi all
Wanda - good luck for Monday and hope your donor produced a good number of eggs. You'll soon be on the 2ww !

Julia - you're right it only takes one - hope the 2ww goes quickly for you too

Hope everyone else is doign OK at their different stages

I have a question re suppositories which I will be starting soon - I have previously always used the "front entrance" - this time they say use the back. Before I have had trouble with leakage and greasy patches on my jeans and will be prepared with protection this time but if they go in the back way do they leak so much? I don't want to look like I sh*t myself...
Sorry to be so graphic!

Hi,

I just returned from Buenos Aires, Argent and have had incredible treatment I am 43 and had my transfer two weeks ago. I have never received this type of care in the US or in Germany. In fact the Drs. in my past were probing and insensitive. One dr., whom I complained about fibroids about, told me that he would recommend taking out my uterus (I was only 36 and childless). I wrote him off immediately, but my story does not end there. I have had the most ruthless Drs. and now I found a gem in South America. I want to share him with other women to inform you that you do have choices and if you want the best care, email him and find out for only $3,500.00 you can have ICHSI with meds only costing $1,500. A steal and it covers everything from ultrasounds, bloodwork, hospitalization, and more. I have made a vow that I will head back should this cycle not take. But god willing... Good luck, Ann

Hi everyone,
sorry for dropping off for so long - I'm still here and can see there's loads to catch up on.
Ann Argent - thanks for such a positive referral, I think all of us have to have 100% confidence in our doctors otherwise we wouldn't be where we are -wishing you the very best of luck with your cycle though.

Wanda will be thinking of you tomorrow - good luck

Kat - is the 7th March your actual transfer date, sorry if I lost touch, but I'm right behind you -

Yasmin huge congratulations to you and your DH on your little baby girl, you realise now that you have 1000's of virtual Godmothers!

Hopeful 2B - you need to change your tag I'm afraid as from today you're officially "I am pregnant". Keep calm and have a great start to your BFP.

Meanwhile, my DH has turned into an honorary woman, I'm sure he's been at my oestrogen pills as is stuffing his face with Revels and Haagen das every night while watching videos.
I have my scan on Tuesday to check the lining and Hope to move to Cylogest then - with transfer scheduled for 5th March so far.

On a rainy Sunday afternoon am having real highs and lows and wonder if I'm being stupid with my post it notes all over my wall, positive music cds and hot water bottle on my tummy. I guess it's ok to have a good cry now and then, I mean we are women after all?

Sorry slipped away there for a moment, meanwhile have ordered my hibernation dvd selection, including Devil wears and breakfast at Tiffinys, although come to think of it, that last scene will probably set me off again!
Thinking of everyone on the their journey, as my post it note no 3 says "everything is working as it should be and going according to plan"

Hi all

BJ - you made me smile on this miserable afternoon with the Revels and ice cream and the post its everywhere, I have visions of a room filled with goodies and little yellow squares! My thing is curling up on the sofa watching David Attenborough dvds, that way I can switch off the rain and the cold and the fact my little pusscat is in hospital
Sounds like I am couple of days behind you, should be having transfer 7th March - will be thinking of you. I have a scan tomorrow afternoon so I should know then if we're still on track. My donor has a scan tomorrow morning so they will let me know in the afternoon how she is progressing.
Hopefully some nice quality eggs in there for me :)

Hope everyone is doing OK
Lots of love

Hi All-
Let's get the best wishes out to everyone.
Yasmina-Congratulations on the arrival of your bundle of joy!
Sonia-thanks for the wonderful advice
Julia-yes it only takes one and passing on positive vibes [and any spare baby dust lying about]
Kat-wishing you all the best on March 7
Wanda-all the best for today fingers crossed.

I've been reading posts but as usual work is keeping me busy and therefore I rarely have time to post replies.

Geckogirl-I was sad to learn of your news.

So, one week into the tww and doing fine. Hormone levels on track :)
Still having a hard time staying away from the gym. So, I'm going today just to walk the track for 10min a far cry from my 6-8 mile runs just a month ago. Will be rubbing my tummy and continuing with the PMA.
Wishing everyone all the best.

Hi Ladies, what a busy thread at the moment.

Hi Yasmina, many congratulations!!So glad to see your news.

Tammy, are you there? What's the news? Hope all is Ok. x x

Bev, hi, glad all is well with you. Thanks for your message. I am due on 9th April. I finish work next week. All Ok with me and bump!

Julia and Wanda, hope the ET's went well and you are now both at home resting up. Good luck on your 2ww.

Sonia, how was your appointment? I hope the Dr had some positive advice for you. You are in my thoughts x x

Kat, hi. Sorry can't help with your question. Those suppositories are dreadful things....hope you get through with no mishaps!!! Good news about your donor.....not long to go now. Hugs xx

As for me, not much to report really. Appointments with m/w are every 2 weeks now and all have gone OK so far. Another one this Thursday. Antenatal classes are a scream....sometimes I think I'd rather not know what's going on...is ignorance bliss?

A big hello to all the other lovely ladies here...keep the faith. Dreams DO come true. Good luck to all.

Take care
Hugs

Hello everyone!

Tammy. - hope all is well with you. Looking forward to your news.

The best of wishes to Julia and Wanda on the 2ww!

Hi Catharine. Hope you’re surviving well. When’s your test date?

BJ – How was your scan? Not long now til your transfer date. Sending you some sunshine!

Jen- have a wonderful time at your wedding!

Kat, keep the good news coming. Do hope you have your little pussycat back at home. My MIL has an adorable cat although she’s getting on a bit now. I do miss her if she’s not around on our visit. She really enjoys lots of attention and for me it’s so therapeutic to give her a cuddle. She’s called “Tigerle” but DH and I call her Dr. Tigerle.
By the way, about the petition in the UK, do you have to be resident in the UK to sign up?

DH and I have made quite some progress in the last few days. After some intensive discussions we’ve decided on donor egg treatment. We’ve accepted that our text book embryos are probably just not what they appear to be. Our Dr. had further news from another trip to conferences in the US and didn’t hesitate to get to the point at our appointment either. He will continue to be supportive with addresses of clinics abroad and required tests etc. which makes things a bit easier. Although sperm donation is legal in Germany, egg donor treatment is not. There’s logic for you! We’ll be looking into clinics in Eastern Europe and Spain. Anyone know anything about Prague or Warsaw? Any help would be great. Maybe you could point me to some web sites where I can read up more. Many thanks.

Whatever stage you’re at… good luck!
Have a good week and love to all.

Sonia

Donor Egg in Argentina

Post by ann argent »

Hi Sonya,

I just returned from Argentina and donor egg is legal and the cheapest anywhere. Less than $9,000.00 and you only need two weeks abroad. Moreover, you get the best care and treatment ... than I have ever witnessed in ten years of my search for dr's.
Good luck and feel free to email me.

Hi All-
Quick post as I'm swampped at work.
Glad to here many are on track
My test date is March 4th.
Since work is keeping me so busy the tww is breezing by. I have no time to focus on this period. It seems I come to work. I go home. I sleep. Next day the cycle repeats itself. Keeping my PMA. Thinking of spring flowers, early bird morning tunes, and relaxing colors.

All the Best to Everyone.

Hi all

Jen - have a wonderful, wonderful time getting married!!! What beautiful surroundings to do it in. Lots of love and luck for the future to you and to Adam :D 21st March should be my test day....

Catharine - will be thinking of you on Sunday, keeping everything crossed for a positive result...

Sonia - thanks for asking about my pusscat - she is home now with the most enormous amount of stitches in her belly and shaved patches everywhere, poor little thing. She is perking up though and eating like a piglet. Re the petition, you can sign if you are resident in the UK or are an expat, it just asks you which country you are in.

Tammy - is Andrew here yet???

To those of you on the 2ww - hang in there! Hope to be joining you very soon.

Hi to everyone else too whatever stage you are at

Lots of love
