Hey ladies

Sorry haven't posted much - we've been busy trying to buy a house (and not succeeding yet.

No real news from Follie count. Doc didn't bother counting or measuring - just wanted to check that I wasn't hyper stimming as I ended up in hospital last time. Back again on Tuesday. He said it is possible to stim for weeks and at this stage he can not give me any indication when EC will be. I'm on quite a low does of Gonal F 112.5 so it could be quite a while. What is everyone else on?

Mom in waiting - that sounds very positve news to me. Good luck!

Arizona Kiwi - you sound like you are in the same situation as me - stimming slowly but surely let's hope. Let me know how you go.

Oh i can't stand this wait any longer and its not even my 2ww. Any news from all our testers, i need put out of my misery here----praying so hard we start our good run of BFP's

Wannababyivf - Yes thanks am feeling better, just a few sniffles hanging around so can't complain. Doesn't help with all the rainy weather we are getting just now in Scotland---i need some hot sun

Steph - We are scan buddies If all goes well on the 28th then i start stimming a couple of days after that, i think. This cycle is all new to me so won't know much until i have my scan. The Docs have changed all my medi to try and get more eggs, just praying it works because if it doesn't then this will probably be our last cycle and i can't even begin to think about that, its too upsetting.

Carolyn - I demand you return and give us some info about that scan---you better not be working to hard????

Anyway PMA all the way girls---bring on those BFP's

Will be at work later and tomorrow morning so will have to check in Sun night for all the BFP news

Mominwaiting - WOW - that sounds like really very good news for you. The shot must have been out your system. You get false -ves but really don't see false +ves unless you test really early. Let's hope that the official result comes through strong

Angie - it is so much better that they take it slow and avoid the OHSS. Sorry I forgot that you had that first time around. I have been on 150ml puregon for goes 1 & 2. They upped it to 200ml this time around. Hope that the house buying is going ok and not too stressful. Good luck for your scan on Tuesday

Wannababy - it is great that you were able to go and see your friends new baby. Brave lady. let's hope that the baby dust passes over to you. Hang in there as the waiting continues. I am willing AF to stay well away

Jen1d - sorry I have been MIA. Of course I painted my toe nails as well as shaving my legs! Would not like to let the side down. Sorry that you have not been feeling well but glad that you are now feeling a bit better. Hope shifts over weekend are not too awful and then scan for you next week......rest - what is he thinking of. When on early do we all have time for that

Momtojazzie - hope that your wedding is everything that you hope for and that EC will go well on Monday

So to me ladies & my scan yesterday. Not great news I'm afraid - well mixed news. Follies are growing well for Day 7. I know from past attempts that they grow for me at almost exactly 2mm per day of stimmies drugs. So biggest was 13mm plus some 10mm-12mm and lots more smaller ones. I had a lady scanner who was lovely and showed me everything. So good news is 16 follies one side. WOW. 10 the other side. Not bad for a lady of 40. Lining is already 10.5mm so acu has helped with that. Then the bad news. As some of you know, last time they could only EC from the right side as left side was too dangerous - blood vessels in way that they could not risk going through. Despite the fact that 1st time both sides were accessible. Meant that over half my follies got left inside me and wasted. Well this time the scan is showing that on both sides. ARGGHHHH. We asked consultant about that at last times follow up. He said the chances of not being able to access either side were negligible. So now they are not sure whether they will be able to collect my 26 follies at all. They will not know until EC day as things can move around. Had a bit of a melt down. Had to go to childrens charity all the rest of the morning - I help them with their finances etc. Then taking niece out for her birthday treat all pm shopping. Was shattered when I got home plus tummy is now really bloated. Dh still unwell. Now has a chest infection. So by the time I got home, I just lost it and went to bed at 8pm in a huff!!! All too much for me. Have now had a good nights sleep and am in the mood of what will be will be.

Next scan is Monday. They think that I'll trigger on Monday night and then EC will be Wednesday which is what I had anticipated based on both previous attempts. Going to update ticker on this basis anyway. I just hope that they will at least be able to get to some of my follies. Please Please Please - let them reach some follies for me.

angie - depending on what is happening with you we might be closer for our 2ww than first anticipated!! hope everything is going well. i guess its better to go too slow rather than too fast!!

hi to everyone else - i know some of you on here from the other threads. i'm actually a feb gal but i started off in the dec/jan thread as i was told we could start in dec originally (and you know what its like when you get to know people on one thread)...then was told couldnt start till march so joined the march thread. and actually they moved us forward to start in feb!! so i do read your posts on here but not going to attempt to keep up with 3 threads!! but the best of luck for everyone...bring on those BFPs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i might try and pop in every now and again if thats ok!)

Aunty--Glad to have you back. Happy you didn't stay away from us for to long. You are very much needed here.

Carolyn--I am praying that they wll be able to reach your follies. Dont give up hope. There is a lot of time between now and Wednesday. Things can change. Stay positive for your little ones. Mom's make miracles happen every day.

Jen--So happy to hear you are feeling better!

Angie--I almost (very close) hyperstimulated with the first cycle of IVF. Last time and this time I was on 80cc of bravelle and 5 cc of Lupron. Last time I had to stop stimming because RE was worred about the Estrogen levels. This time, he had me continue to stim but just watched more carefully. This time my Estrogen levels didnt go up as much as they did last time. And we used the exact same dosage of drugs...and we didn't take a break from stimming. I guess your body reacts different each time. I am praying the same goes for you and that you do not Hyperstimulate. He did tell me that in some cases your Estrogen levels can get really high and then level off....and you dont hyperstimulate. Please dont worry yourself. I pray that everything works out for you.

I'm sorry to say that I'm sitting drinking my 3rd glass of wine! Bad stinkin' negative!

I'm ok but obviously gutted. We've got some friends due over any minute so I'm going to try and forget about it and just have a drink or two more(!) and get on with it.

It was our first try with IVF but having spent last year doing 4 iuis it's all too familiar.

Aunty, I'm so sorry for your news too. You deserve so much more. Sending you and Dex a big hug. Gutted for us all but WE WILL GET THERE!

So happy for you Mominwaiting, that's amazing, it's great to see it does work!

Hi Julie - sorry to hear your result - enjoy your wine you deserve it. I am in the middle of stimming and I had a couple this weekend - very bad of me but abstaining last two times didn't help me!

Carolyn - EC already this week - your body really does run like clock work - not like me. I an hoping your ovies shift themselves into position and behave - good luck.

Hi Shantala - hope jabbing going well - just read your injection thread - I am sure you are a pro by now.

I am also feeling tired and grumpy (mainly due to missing out on a house at the w/e) - I recommend a nana nap on Sun pm - I just had 2 hours of zzzzzz - lovely.

Angie - I am sorry that you are down. Shame about the house. But there will be others for sure. I think sometimes that we forget how much 'work' the drugs put on our system. I have been shattered all weekend. Think that they can make us feel a bit down as well. I know that it is taking you longer to stimmie this time but sure that they are taking it really slowly to make sure that they avoid the OHSS. Sure that it will turn out for the best in the end. Thinking of you. I will feel better when I get to EC. Just so scared that it will all be in vain

So 2nd scan for me first thing tomorrow. Planned diary around Wednesday EC so bound to be Thursday instead So hoping that they'll be able to at least reach some. I have a lot on at work this week so will all be a bit of a juggling act for me this week. Plus we are going to our first appointment at new clinic on Thursday afternoon too. We were offered the appointment and did not want to turn it down as clinic has long wait list & we would go there for cycle 4. dh starting to clear his chest infection so things looking better for him. Will try to post here when I can although may be brief.

Carolyn - I hope you have better news on your Monday scan. Since they said it was negligiable that you couldn't reach both....that's positive odds, right? Lots of prayers to you this week and you'll be in the 2WW before you know it!

As for me, finally got a surge this w/e and going in Monday to confirm.
I wait 10 days and start the estrogen patch, cetrotide shot on day 12 and should start stims about 3 days after shot...So looking at a ER around March 24th time frame...

Jul---I am so sorry hun! I had to go back and reread the posts! I was wondering if I missed something. I didn’t even know. Don’t give up hope sweetie. I had a BFN my first time also. I was so upset. But decided to give it another shot. I’m praying this time it worked. But if not, I’ll just keep trying until it does. Keep your head up. I will keep you and DH in my prayers. Have a glass of wine for me.

Angie—Feeling any better sweetie. Good Luck on the house search. I know there is one out there with your name on it and it will be better than the one you missed out on. In regards to the EC, your time will come. Better safe than sorry. I pray that you do not hyper stimulate and everything works out for you. Please keep us posted.

Carolyn—I was just thinking about you. Do you know if there is another way to retrieve the eggs? Have you asked? What about thru laparoscopy? Just a thought. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. I really hope they will be able to retrieve some eggs. Keep the faith. A lot can change by Wednesday. Glad to hear your DH is feeling better!

As for me, just trying to relax and not over do it. Feel slight twinges here and there but nothing serious. I feel nauseous now and then but it gets better when I eat something. lol I’m eating a lot but I think I’m just being greedy. lol I’m also feeling very tired but I read that was a side effect of the progesterone suppositories. Other than that trying not to think about it too much. Tired of running to the bathroom looking for something on the toilet paper. Praying every time I feel a twinge that it is not AF cramps. Have 4 more days of this to go and I am praying so hard. Doing everything in my power not to over analyze every little thing and stress out. It’s so weird, I don’t even want to change my ticker to display the countdown of my test because it will be a constant reminder…not that I’m not already reminded. But I don’t want another one. lol

Hope you all are doing well. I’m praying for each and everyone of us every night before I go to sleep.

Sorry, I havent gotten back sooner, have had a rough couple of days but yes it is BFP!!! Beta was 140 I go back 2 day for 2nd BETA. I wil lupdate more later and explain more
