Jovigal, Thanks for checking in on me!! Not that I am aware of and this was a kind of natural way to get the twins. I was really surprised when the RE said well both embies did not stick, I was like yes they did there are two babies! I have never heard of this before. I am so excited and kind of nervous. The RE also mentioned something called Monochorionic twins, which is kind of high risk as one twin could take most of the food and things and could deprive the other. So my OB has to really watch and moniter the progress.
Now it is another waiting game to find out what I am having.

There was a programme on here a few weeks ago showing life inside a mothers womb, it was called 'Miricle of birth' and it explained how one embryo can split and form into two babies (Wow!) hense identical twins, i was stunned at this, that an embryo can split and still form two babies, i was like - wot! And still form 2 babies from 1 embryo

The things they explained were really mind blowing - like a woman who had triplets - one embryo split like yours and the twins were identical, but another egg was released 2 days later, and was also fertalized by the sperm from a few days before (as they can live for up to 5 days before they die off - the sperm that is) and lo and behold another baby- hense identical twins and one singleton (but obvisouly classsed as triplets) Its amazing mind.

(You have to laff really, here are we trying desperatley to become pregnant, and that woman gets pregnant two times in one s*x session, and then another time in the aftermath LOL)

Your twins 'Monochorionic Twins' were also shown. It was really funny to watch because u could see one twin dominating the other as if to say - hey this is my space, if i give u a kick, or a nudge shift over or else lol. And they were touching each others faces, and grabbing onto each other - aw it was class to watch. They also showed twins after birth and how they calmed each other down when in distress, and how they played together - nature is so amazing, mind blowing at times.

Your gonna have so much fun watching them grow up, im really pleased for u hun, i want to know all the details - after all i am their cyber god mother

Becky did you know twins from one egg can also be boy and a girl!!!!! apprently sometimes a single egg will carry 3 sets of sex gene so instead of XX or XY it will have XXY and when the egg splits in creates one boy one girl....amazing hey...
i also personaly know a woman (i worked with her husband) who got pregnant then fell pregnant again a month in she had two boys one was a lot smaller than his brother but amazing what can happen

Erin: Hey, ain't that just amazing? "natural" twins! WOW! You must be over the moon! Remember that each pregnancy is an adventure... there will always be things to worry about, but you'll be monitored closely and that's gotta be reassuring! I'm very excited for you and your DH! erin - woohoo!! thats fantastic news!!!! congratulations to you and your dh!!

as for me - ive been REALLY uncomfortable since yesterday bordering being in pain which means my follies are growing nicely. however **TMI WARNING**TMI WARNING** i passed a really large clot yesterday when i went to the loo so ive just phoned the clinic and they are going to call me back. little bit worried but i'm sure they'll call back soon. **TMI WARNING OVER**TMI WARNING OVER** - has anybody else experienced this?? i'm on day 6 of stimms today.

will let you all know what the clinic says soon.

Hi ladies, well its all over for me again, Beta down below 2. I am now waiting to go to recurring miscarraige clinic, in the same unit for more tests, due to having 2 Bio-chemicals on the trot. I will be testing chromosones soon, as they take 8-10 weeks for the results to come back, and testing my antibodies (i think) but this cannot be done for 8 weeks after the miscarraige, still a bit vague as i am waiting for the head nurse of that unit to contact me to explain the next steps.
Whatever happens i will not be cycling again until at least May.
Feeling pretty fragile at the Mo, will catch up soon with you all.

Shantala: I'm so sorry I can't help you! I really don't know what this clot is about... in the down regging period, I could understand, but not in the stimming. What did your clinic say?

beachbaby sweetie I'm sorry... I really wish this confirmation, one way or the other, would bring you some firm ground to stand on, but it seems like there is still a lot of uncertainty in the air. I really hope things don't drag too much and your clinic gives you answers. And well, if you cycle in May, you'll not be alone; I'll be right there with you!
