Counseling for donor sperm - single lady

Hi, my name is Susan and I am new here. I'm not sure if I'm posting on the right board or not. I'm 32 years old and I've had one ectopic pregnancy (left tube removed) and one miscarriage. I am now single and I feel that now is the right time for me to have a child so I am going down the IVF route alone.

On 5th March I have my donor sperm counseling which my father figure will be attending with me. My father figure is a dear friend do you think that this will be a problem? My dad passed away a few years ago and I have 2 brothers both of which I'm not close to and don't feel comfortable asking.

Could anyone please tell me what to expect at the counseling session.

Susan--I didn't do donor sperm, so I can't really help you out. Just wanted to wish you luck and welcome you to the roller coaster that is IVF!
