Yes, I'm still alive.... sorry haven't been around, had loads of family issues going on and just haven't had time... I've missed you all though..

Kate honey I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN, but after just reading your last post, there still is hope, remember my 1st cycle, I used a HPT and it showed Neg (twice) but infact the blood test showed up POSITIVE.... So can't you go get bloods done, also if boobs are hurting that's a good sign.. I am hoping and praying that your HPT was so very wrong..... your right AF usually shows up by now..!

Lisa - How's you and baby doing? How's the symptoms, not too many I hope.? I still keep smiling when I think of you pregnant, you really are an inspiration to us all, lets hope we'll all be following in your footsteps very very soon.... Bet you and DH are still on cloud 9 aren't you? Have you family/friends? So do you think you'll find out if you're having a boy or girl? Take Care Hun, enjoy you week off too.!

Julie - Wow, have I read right, that when AF shows you'll be having ET, forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm just trying to catch up with everybody.. if so that's amazing, it has come round so quick.! So has all this fluid gone now, did you ever get an answer to what it was or what caused It.? Hope you're OK in yourself and looking forward to your FET...!!! Take Care Hun.

Gail - How log do you have left now then, until your gorgeous baby is in your arms, only 2 or 3 week I think??????????? Am I right.? It's mad how times flies, it only felt like yesterday that you were telling us of your BFP... What are you going to call her?? Hope she's not to big, already 5lbs, and another couple of weeks to go, they say they have a growth span in the last couple of weeks, lets hope you're not giving birth to a 9lb baby........ I'm getting excited for you so can't imagine how you and DH must be feeling.! Take Care.. xx

Jen - Thanks for the PM, that was very sweet of you... Not long till your big day now, are you very excited? Can't imagine How I'd feel on the run up to my day, I am engaged, we got engaged 2 yrs ago but with IVF can not afford to get married, and I don't want a registry office do, I want the works..! How did your appt go for the Egg Donor, I'm sorry you got upset, you're bound to think of your not being able to use your own eggs, its very hard, but you accept it and are ready for this and the baby will be YOURS AND ADAMS, that baby wouldn't have a life if it wasn't for you, so you'll be 100% the babies mummy and a very good one you'll be. This is going to work for you I just know it, married then baby - BLISS..! Also thank you so much about the meds, I don't use those though, I use menopur, I really really grateful for the offer that is very kind of you.!

Nicki - What nightmare you've had with the ceiling, have insurance company sorted it out?.. Can't believe I've read your down regging beginning of March, you'll be on 2ww before you know it.! How did the appt go about egg sharing, was everything OK? Were you happy with everything.? Anyway Hunny keep those stress levels down, you don't want any added stress, this is hard enough..... A big hello to anyone I've missed - No-body I hope.!

As for me well not good news, I aren't going ahead with tmt in March, for one I can't get the funds together for my drugs and 2 I've just got loads of stuff going on at min and feel really stressed out and I know that’s not good when going through IVF, I mean this is my last go using my eggs so I want to give myself the best possible chance and I know all this stress I'm feeling won't be doing that, so I'm postponing it, only for a couple of months, maybe May..! I am really gutted because I wanted to do it so much.! My sister really wants me there for the birth of her son, he's due in May, I am looking forward to it but know I'll be an emotional wreck.. Nothing much more to report, work stills a crappy atmosphere, we've all got to apply for our own jobs as we merged company’s, so now there’s 4 of everything and everybody more or less so that’s getting me down too, I think I'm quite safe but you never know do you, my interview is beginning of March I think, I'm also going for another position as well as my own, fancy the change....

Sorry not been around girls.

LUC - Glad to see you back. Hope things get sorted for you. Sorry about the delay but you are right - you need to be as relaxed and stress free as poss x Hope the job goes the way you want it to. Mine sucks. As for ET I have to wait for AF and then take tablets to thicken lining of womb. They will then scan to check for fluid gone (bit wrong way round in my opinion!). Dont know what it was but hoping was injection drugs.

Hope everyone else is ok. NIKKI I can relate to your probs at moment. We are having to cancel bedroom being fited as cant resolve the water issue in the chimney breast. AAARRRGGGHHH.

As for me. no signs of AF yet.....no syptoms either apart from the moody blues and tiredness!! Keep ya posted. Take care all xxx

Julie sounds like your life is busy busy busy!!!! My Gp says it is NORMAL to have the Blues in February as everyone is fed up waiting for some sunshine! It will soon be spring and you'll be ready for ET!!!!


Nicki I have never used Synarol??? I looked up my ivf meds book and found Signarel wich is agonist and works the same as a down reg supressing drug. (eg buserelin Zoladex etc) all down regs stimulate the piruitary gland in the brain to drop FSH and LH levels. therefore the clinicn has more control of your hormones.
Hope all is sorted about the leak and you can claim the insurance for decoration etc. I cannot believe that you are still waiting for the redults of your chromosome tests. thats been 2 wks now!!!

Lisa hope you enjoyed your weekend away and weren't to sicky to make the best of it. Did you tell your friends or are you still waiting for 12wk scan and then tell???? When is next scan????

Jen - how's the excitment building? I don't think I would be able to sit still let alone do anything else except jump around until I got on the flight!!

Julie - sod's law ian't it, when AF is wanted she is always late. Here's hoping she behaves herself and you can start on your FET asap - can't wait to see you post a BFP

Lisa - how is the pregnant one? Any symptoms yet?

Nickie - how's you? Can't believe you will have to wait so long to get your ceiling fixed!! Think I used Synarol to down reg when I had my last tmt. I had to inject it as they said it was more precise, thankfully I didn't have too many side effects, just a couple of headaches!!

As for me, AF finally arrived on Sunday, so it looks like the HPT was correct after all!! I have to say it has been the most painful AF I have had, I never get any sort of cramping but Sunday morning I could hardly move! Still getting cramps but not as bad. So, its now back to the drawing board and trying again. I think I want to do my next FET fairly soon, possibly March/April as thats when I have the Easter hols and I don't want to take anymore time off work. If I don't have time off then no-one knows and its easier that way.

Hey guys, just to let you know that I am alive...

We had a rough few months DH and I. lately I did not have access to internet because I was at my mum, I needed to work for a month or so.
Dh mama past away in January, last week Dh fell in the stairs, passed out, broke his thumb and had 14 stitche on his forehead... He was and still is all on his own so he feels a bit down. I am flying back to Dubai Sunday and I cant tell you how happy I am!
And me,,,, I was suppose to start a new cycle, but last month I had a hysteroscopy done to see if all was ok after my M/C... only to find out that I had some placenta left... luckily I did not get any infection, but I am going back to the hospital on friday to have a 2nd hysteroscopy and possibly another D&C... so my treatment is postponed until I dont know when!
For now I dont feel like posting, I need to get away from this all.
I wish you the best girls, and thank you for your support.

Souris Much love to ya Honey...Sorry to here that you have had such a tough time. Although it all so much at the moment I know from friends experience that a D&C will help the next cycle of embies get on board and embed easier!!!! So good luck with all that. Love to your DH (poor guy) what a nightmare. At least you can fly home now!


MLG_ good to hear from you and that motherhood is wondererful ( and as busy ) as we expect it to be. Keep in touch and let us know how you are once in a while !!!!

Kate Sorry to hear about AF... The progesterone builds up the lining so AF is always heavier and more painful the next few times. ( unless your preg soon ) I think you are so right to go through it all again with a FET quickly. Good luck Honey at Easter sounds great Hopefully Julie will be going then too as well as Nicki's test date!


Julie How's work this week.?? are you going to take time off when you go for FET??? I am doing a JIG to start your AF. Hope AF aint too long away now...
