YIPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats Wanna, way to go!!

I'm so happy and so encouraged. You have given me hope. Since I got a BFN the first time I have been so scared to try again. I just thought if it didn't work the 1st time, why would it work a 2nd time? I love to see people get a BFP after trying once, twice...

Congrats again!!
Jenn

Whoo Hoo, Wanna!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, "you are in the family way!"

A BFP for you, how wonderful. Your success is a success for us all.
Congratulations!

We should probably call you "Wannamamma" now. Maybe the babe should be called 'lil wanna" of "Junior Wanna."

If its twins, how's "double wannamamma"?

Happy, happy, happy.

Underground like a wild potato,

Jenn!!!! Don't be discouraged, I know it's hard not to be, but you saying that just because it didn't work the first time, doesn't mean it won't work again, my closest friend went through IVF 4 times, and finally the 4th time was the charm - it has alot to do with your body and the stress levels, and what goes on around you at that time. And the biggest thing is to NOT and I will repeat it incase you didn't hear me the first time, NOT to give up hope!!! :o

Stepping off my increasingly getting taller soapbox....

Wanna - so pleased for you - you and Fee this week have really inspired me with your fab BFP news.
Meggo - forgot to say congrats on your scan results - sounds like you and embie are doing great.

I am sorry but this is going to be a grumpy me post so if you are feeling bright and cheerful I'll understand if you don't read it.

Just had a another scan - no real progress since Tuesday so he is increasing the dose of gonal F. I am completely over it now - just sick of the whole mental anguish/process. I mean how much longer can these injections go on - he reckons another week. To start my record stimming was a bit of a joke but now I am sick of it. Low doses mean the follies don't grow, higher doses put me in hospital with OHSS. Really fed up. Then just got an email from DH for a 1st b-day party (his friends) - just replied to him "No thanks" - what a cow I am.

Work has been very busy this week - but it some ways good to keep my mind of things. Thought I'd been really strong all week but now I feel like I've crumbled.

Anyway - it's great to have you girls here to whinge to - sorry to be so negative - I will cheer up soon I promise.

Angie: sorry to hear you are bummed. So, i won't be blowing sunshine up your a$$. (although i imagine it is a perfectly fine a$$ ). Nah, this just sucks now. I can't even imagine stimming this long and looking at another wk. I guess i am happy that they have been very careful with you this time to avoid OHSS, but i am hoping that they increased dose of G-f will give those ovaries a kick in the a$$ (apparently my word of choice for this post  ). You are NOT a cow for not going to the 1st bday party. We have to pick and choose what is best for us emotionally during times like this. You are doing something good for yourself.

Fee: sorry you will miss your trip w/dh, but as for self-absorbed sassy, i am happy you will be around (and to know that your clinic is open to bribes... thanks vicky for the tip  ).

Amy: woohoo on the tax refund!!!! So, lets figure out how many fewer lemonade stands J will have to have....

Melissa: my dear, of course you are welcome to a t-shirt... in fact... those lurkers out there... and i know you are out there... may order one too! I mean, the more shirts spreading the doctrine of the sisterhood around the world, the better! irl i never swear.... but something about IF and banging my head over and over against a f***in" brick wall we call IVF has brought out the sailor in me  .

Patie: oooo, making a wedding dress.. very cosmo. I want to see a picture when it is done! Audacity in a wedding dress? hmmmm. I will send you the link again to my flickr site. If that doesn't work, then let me know and i will pm you a picture of me and dh. As for the tshirt...try to order it directly.... if that doesn't work, just pm me the size you want and i will order it and ship it to you.

Coco: LOVE the HGTV house idea. I am assuming, thought, that it will be perpetually stocked with cheetos and Marie Callendar's chocolate satin pie? I imagine that goes without saying.... Colorado is my fave place (did grad school in Denver) now you said it was in the mountains... i am hoping near good skiing??? Think how cool we will look swishing down the slopes in our t-shirts!!!

Jenn: ??Pokeno?? what is that, pray tell? Hope it goes well with the pregos!

Wanna: man... you know... you really know how to put suspense into a post. I started reading your post and then couldn't take it anymore, so had to skip down.... good thing you had put BFP in bold.... after i knew it was good news, then i went back and read the whole thing.... i am just not very good with suspense  . Kudos on how you told your dh. Now you can just savor the BFP. Congrats!

Shantala: hey girl! Thanks for tracking me down! Yep, i think i am ready to start stims... not as excited as i have been before, but grateful that i get another shot. I imagine you will be having ER soon.... will be following how that all goes!

As for me, almost back to normal now. still have this d*mn sore throat that is hanging on.... probably since i never had a chance to really take time off and get better. I expect to spend the wkend sitting on the couch watching tv!

So just 'cause i had no other creative ideas... and so that i can keep track myself, started a ticker that ACTUALLY has to do with my cycle (i know, SOOOO last thread of me  ). Don't worry.... after my retrieval i will come up with something good like... next time i will be changing my oil, etc

oooooo, and girls, i am SOOOO excited... i reunite with the dildocam tomorrow for baseline. It has been so long... like over a month now and as you can imagine, i am waiting with baited breath....

Sassy you made me laugh so hard on Wanna's suspense post!!, I did the exact same thing, started reading, when I saw she wasn't saying anything that looked like a BFP or BFN I scrolled down and when I saw the BFP I had a relief sigh and went back to the top to keep reading, LOL  .......I am sure most of us did that!!...we were so worried about you Wanna!!!!!!. BTW good luck with Dildocam tomorrow Sassy!!!!

Ange sorry I missed your post  . So one more week huh, that really sucks, but they say that all the good things in life have to be waited for, so who knows, maybe this is your BFP and that is the reason for all this suspense......About the 1st Bday, you do right in not going, I wasn't as smart as you and I went to one last week, it was a nightmare, all full of little kids running around, some pregnant women around as well, and EVERYBODY talking about kids, so needles to say I am not going to another 1st, 2nd, 3rd or any bday until they are 18 years old

Wanna, that is brilliant news! You have absolutley made my day, have been worrying all night. Enjoy!!! Now don't worry about ectopic pregnancies, yes they can occur with IVF and I was told yesterday that the first time that they can actually confirm that the pregnancy is where it should be is on the first scan....But honestly don't worry, I think my clinic is ultra cautious....

I've got to rush off, am in court this morning dealing with a druggie mum and I haven't prepared anything so had better do that, will do personals later.

Once again Wanna well done, am over the moon for you!!!
