Ems - congratulations - keeping my fingers crossed that there is another lovely surprise waiting for you! LOL.

WARNING - self pitying vent to follow:
my very good friend has just told me she is 10 weeks pregnant - I knew it was coming because she and her DH have been ttc for a while - I am really happy for her and she has been with me all the way through the IVF Journey as a great support. I now feel like am losing another friend because at the moment I can't be around pregnant ladies and babies. I don't want to be like this I just can't help it. I have already not seen 2 good friends this year because they have little ones. How do i stop being like this? I don't want to end up with no friends?

Charlie sorry that this is happening espically after what youve been through we all just have to keep thinking positive we will all have our babies one day .

Any way i went and had my haircut this morning and she has cut it awful short dont know if i like it or not never mind its done now lol serves my own right i was feeling miserable this morning and let the hairdresser take out on the hair still feeling pretty down work isnt helping when i have friends saying you will make a great mum and that i will have a baby and i'm doind 11 hour shifts hope they end bloody soon .

I know what you mean about the thread being far down on the forum! We are quiet lately!

Sophie - I can't remember whether it was on this thread that you asked the question, but I started AF on 15th after my BFN and finally stopped spotting on 2nd March - I think it would have gone on longer if I hadn't have started BCP's. My Doc said it was normal too - but you are right - it is annoying!

Welshbugger: I don't know if you'll have time for this... but a friend of mine had a couple of beers (for courage) with one of her friends who took digital pics of her wearing sexy outfits, with seasonal themes. And then she printed the pics and made a calendar for her bf's b-day. I wanted to do the same for my husband on our wedding night, but I think I'll definitely keep the idea for our first anniversary. Mind you, the pics don't have to be pornographic, just sexy (my friend wore a catwoman costume for October and a sexy secretary outfit for September, for example)

Hahahahaha - with a body like mine, i think that would go down like titanic LOL. I would look more like Fat woman thatn Cat woman lol.I like the idea tho

That being said, you could give him just a framed pic of you to put in his office. Or tickets to a show, it's still paper.
Or if you feel a little kinky you could duplicate the "sexy dices" game and fill one little jar with pieces of paper with actions written on it (kiss, caress, massage, lick, and so on) and body parts (lips, neck... you figured it out) and have him pick one of each and have fun.

That sounds like great fun Ive got a pair of those sexy dices too lol - Only problem is = 2 teenagers at home with us lol. I wouldnt feel comfortable with them downstairs, or in their bedrooms next door - maybe i should have booked a night away in a hotel for Friday night - hmmmm theres a thought!

...or you could sit down and pay the bills together... still paper big time but less sexy.

Well, i went out yesterday and bought him a watch - summit Aunty said about the year flying by and it being timeless etc. Ive made sure that i can get a FULL refund shold he not wear it - he isnt one for wearing jewelerey (or aftershave - he's really hard to buy for ffs lol) mind you, he swore blind he wouldnt wear his wedding ring - so we only bought him a cheap one (£18 lol) to excahnge in church, and the bugger hasnt taken it off since. I did think about buying him a new wedding ring - a nice one (not one that looks like a washer lol) but he said he doesnt want a new one, cos this was the one that was blessed in church (understandable) So - its not paper ive bought - but i dont think that really matters - but i bet u one things ladies - i will not get summit so stravagant, altho i have hinted his was LOL.

Sorry I didn't post, i have been terribly sick with a head and chest cold...We lost 1 of the babies last week...he/she had no growth for 2 weeks and at the last u/s there was a very weak heartbeat and this past week there was no heartbeat at all...the other baby is doing GREAT!!! we have very mixed emotions as we are soooo upset by the loss but at the same time so grateful fotr the healthy baby...i've been released now to my obgyn which i will see this wed...thank you for all of your positive thoughts over the last few weeks....
