Ladies - I am LOVING the idea that I have to eat more ice cream. DH says I already ate a lot, but I told him to hold on to his whatevers as I am going to turn it up a notch. He hasn't seen anything yet.

I feel so behind. Had to come up to the parents house to help them dig out from all the snow! It is incredible. I did manage to squeeze in some ski time today in between shoveling and moving wood around. Needless to say, I tend to spend more time eating than all this physical labor so I am off to hit the hay.

When we have our Sisterhood house, lets hire someone to take care of the snow....

A

Wanna...guess what...my sis was just telling me about "the secret" so i told her the story of u briefing us about and she started giving me tips on how i should think and alll... quite interesting i will surely watch it online tonight!!!

Hi Lady's did someone say ice cream?!?!?!......ooo and im sure i heard ben & jerry's too..... i was eyeing a tub of coffee heath bar crunch yesterday but left it at dribbling down the glass door that seperated me from me weakness...

Ghost you do realise we all stopped reading after it went negative dont you...LOL..or translated by hormonal women as follows..
The effect was not statistically significant
Translation: but could be so ignore the above
In other words, there is only slight evidence of one modest benefit from high fat foods
Translated: Slight and modest being words most of us havent used for many years so really do think you should all go for it and eat away

loads of love Aunty

Aunty, I loved your translation!!, I totally agree with it

Amy, so snow shoveling huh?......yeah, will definitely hire someone for your Sisterhood house, we should be focusing on the ice cream eating and not on snow shoveling, right??

Patie....to paste a picture you have to do the following. First go to www.photobucket.com, upload the picture there, once you do that, it will give you a BB code for the picture, that way you can use that code to paste the image here like you would do with any emoticon. Let me know if it worked or if you need more Sisterhood assistance

Wow Patie - you are quite the artist. I love it. You will be the sisterhood stylist. Do you also sew them??

Vicky - What time is Sanson's class today?? I am sure he is the smartest dog there. In our class it was ALWAYS the lab. Bella, our pug, was always just the funny one... not the brightest.

Fee - What are you doing on your virtual vacation?? Do you have any appointments next week that we could create a ticker for? I need tickers... it helps me feel connected.

Sass - Are you finally feeling better? Did you rest up all day yesterday? Are you just pumped up that you have your injection schedule back? I am so jealous. I want to inject something, anything. I might have to get some placebos just to feel a part of the sisterhood again.

The boy is already out in his snowcave. I have to go make sure he doesn't try to sled down to the frozen creek. He desperately wants to try a frozen water rescue. Damn that Bear Grylls!!!

Don't forget "non-significant".

They should not have published that claim.

OK- slight and modest means there is a chance, so i'm going to get the ben and jerry's today. Thank you for your wonderful discovery sassy!

patie- cute! I like the heart shaped glasses. you are so talented! I am not creative at all. Can't even draw stick figures, much to the disappointment of my students! I draw on the board and they look at me and go "what is that supposed to be again?"

Vicky- have fun at class! My dog has a smart bump on her head. That is what the vet told us it was. She was right too because she is a very smart dog. My mom calls her- her gifted and talented grandog. She trained very well...and then she began to train us and i think that is what stuck because we pretty much do what she wants us to!

Off to buy Chubby Hubby, or Chunky Monkey ice cream!
Later girls!

Just making sure I did the ticker thing right! I haven't done one in a long time!!!

Wanna- forgot to tell you thank you for your input!! I still don't know what to do! I had the HSG thing a long time ago when all of this first started and my tubes were clear. So far the only thing we think could be the reason for our troubles is the endo. I wasn't having regular periods, not ovulating they think- so that is what started me going to the RE in the first place. DH had 2 not so great tests come back in a row, and they told us we should do IUI's because of that. But then at all IUI's the dr. said his boys looked great!? Then when we moved and switched doctors they ran another analysis just becasue his others were so different and it came back great! so who knows, I thought the IVF in october would end all of this for me, but the journey continues...until i get what i want!
later!
Jenn

hey girls - I 'm back from sulking. Patie - I love your design - you are so creative.

Sassy welcome to jabbing land - hope they are going well. Any one up for a bit of fun? What are all the funny places you have injected. So far in this cycle I have injected:

In a changing room on the beach, in a park, in a dimly lit restuarant loo, in my office at work and I have had a couple of sniffs on the train and tram (haven't plucked up courage to inject on the train yet!) Any one else got any funny locations? :D

Obviously with my 21+days jabbing cycle I have more opportunties than most to come up with creative locations but I am sure lots of you have some goodies as well.

My update is follies have woken up a bit - a couple are a good size and we are looking at Friday for EC. But numbers not so great - only 6 (compared to over 20 last time) - oh well , what will be will be. At least won't end up in hospital this time, hopefully!
Better do some work. Be back soon!

Patie---Ohhh, you make me want to get a fish. My DH want one of those huge fish tanks with all the exotic fish in it. Maybe one day. But I have no idea where we would put it. What is the endometrium test? Do tell? I swear I learn so much from you ladies! Good luck with the karyo results. I pray you get the news you want. I watched the secret again today. My mind was going crazy thinking about carrying this baby to term. I had to watch it to remind myself to think positive about the IVF treatment. This time I watched it to remind myself to think positive about my pregnancy. I wish they had it on CD so I could listen to it in the car. I still don’t have the principles down exact yet. It’s going to take more practice. More than I thought. Love the dress!! How can I get one?!?!?!

Sassy—My sister in law called me the other day to tell me about that. She heard it on the news. I didn’t know I was pregnant at the time (at least I don’t think I did). But I thought to myself..YIPPEE, another excuse to eat ice-cream.

Amy—Sorry you had to endure the shoveling. But it’s great that you had a chance to enjoy the snow. I love skiing. You are too funny. You want to inject something. I’m on my bed laughing so hard. lol I totally agree. You feel out of the loop when you aren’t down regging, injection, or going thru the 2ww.

Aunty—I like the way you think. I am going to go with your translation and I think everyone should go pick up some ice cream ASAP!

Jenn—WOW, an 80’s party! That sounds like so much fun. I was watching some old music videos the other day and I told dh that I want to have a party and have the DJ play only old music. Music that we grew up to. Basically music in the 80’s and 90’s. Are you dressing up for the party. I once went to a 70’s party and it was so much fun! We recently had a discussion regarding IUI vs. IVF. Could you or would you go straight to IVF? I went to RE because I wasn’t able to conceive. OBGYN said I has PCOS because I wasn’t ovulating or whenever he took the test to see if I was ovulating the test said I wasn’t. So he put me on this horrible medication called metamorphin that made me sick as hell. So I went to see RE to get a second opinion and basically to beg him to take me off the dreadfull medication. He also ran tests and we found out that I was ovulating. But I was getting my period to quick after ovulation. The time period between ovulation and period should be about 14 days. Mine was like 8 or 9, hence I have luteal phase defect. So I was put on clomid and tried naturally. When that didn’t work we tried clomid with the IUI. That also did not work. So we went to IVF. I still don’t know (and neither do the doctors) why IUI didn’t work and IVF did. I have heard that happens a lot. I often wonder was it because of the endo (since nothing was blocked). Guess I’ll never know. Which is fine by me! I'm happy with the end result.

Angie—That’s great that EC is scheduled for Friday. I know you are excited. Don’t be bummed out about the number of eggs. They can never tell the exact number. There might be some hiding. Hope everything goes well for your ER! I will be praying for you.

Fee—How are you? Where are you?

Hope you all are doing great!

Sending lots of love and baby dust to everyone! :P
