We have just had our friends over and 4 of their kids (all under4) the house has been mad, and now its so silent. I said to DH ' Oh I cant wait for kids now!!!!'
Bring on the sniffing, which starts in teh morning, I am starting to worry about it!!! dont know why, i guess its fear ofthe un known and reality setting in!!!

As for me, I'm day 2 of stimms today and so far so good. Haven't had any side effects so far. I had to turn on the alarm clock so I don't miss my before 9am shots. I do 3 shots these days. They aren't too bad but that follistim shot stings a bit. Anyway, see you guys!

I hope that you’re feeling a wee bit better. Wow, FET this week, fingers crossed that your lining builds up and all goes ahead this week, how exciting.

Shantala – 17th/18th great for me too and I think the Oracle sounds fab. Atleast I know where it is!! How are you feeling? You must butterflies in your stomach, the EC will be fine and just think this time next week, your have your little babies back!! I will be thinking of you tomorrow and if I don’t manage to speak to you before I go away, I will try and somehow log on to see how many eggs you get. I’m so excited for you honey.

Anna, another one stimming, woo hoo, that’s bril, we are all on a roll now. I won’t be around for your first follie scan so hope that it goes well, grow follies grows..! Know what you mean about the needles – I’m on menopur too so have the same ones… they’re HUGE !!

Vicky – hi there, this thread is incredible, every time you go away for a day or so there is pages to read when you come back, so know where you are coming from!! We decided on Lisbon, although not likely to be too romantic, especially with AF just around the corner…timing pretty naff, but away all the same which I’m thankful for! Oh, another natural preggo, that would be fab eh……fingers, toes and legs crossed for you and sending lots of baby dust your way.

Kandice – hope the EC went well – how many eggs? Happy anniversary for tomorrow too.

Nerms – yeah she finally arrived, good that she is behaving herself for you. Oh my god, I’m going to miss you starting your d/reg too…. Good luck and will be thinking of you. Well I can tell you that I was safely tucked up in bed last night when you wrote the post, I ducked out after dinner and came home, missed my own bed!!

Sonya – hope yr had a lovely time last night having ‘sonya time’ – I love me time too…(and that I get to hold the TV controls!).

Yesterday was a fab day, we had make up done and then got picked up in one of those white limos and went into town… 1st photos at Albert hall, then to Buck Palace and to Westminster….so funny as some tourists thought we were doing a model shoot and took photos themselves !! I was done in and felt really rundown by 8 after dinner and especially as I wasn’t drinking so decided to come back home, very long day but fun!

That’s me, nothing to report on the cycle side, just waiting and waiting til first scan next week….sigh! oh and that ***** too arrive too.....where is she!!

Hey everyone, Man this group is soo big, its hard to keep up with everyone. Just a quick post today since I have had a house full of people celebrating three birthdays. So needless to say I have some clean up and lots of dishes to do. As for me I started Lupron today and weird but true I almost missed the shots. It is amazing how used to something you can get when it is soo terrifying at first. I hope everyone is doing well in their cycles. I will catch up on personals when I am not so crazy busy! Thinking of you all!

Anna: Great to hear the stimming is going good!! I know how hard it is its like your day consists of waiting for the next shot. It is very consuming! Im on bcps until the 15th and then stimming!

Nerms: Sorry to hear AF is being difficult. Mine was really heavy also (sorry TMI) but short I only had af for 3 days.

Nimble: Ooooh your night sounds FAB! I have felt very tired myself. I guess it is all the emotions and hopes. Come on AF where are you??

Jstrandland: 3 bdays? Wow! Was yours one of them? Congrats on starting Lupron!

I did have a great night alone! Although my dh stayed at his friends house which I was glad about. I didnt want him drinking and driving but he was supposed to call if he was going to stay. So I went to bed and woke up at 2am worried! I just wished he would have called. I have a really hard time sleeping without him... Anyways I am taking these blasted bcp's it is not the same brand I have taken before and they really bother my stomach. I dont normally take any medication and now I am on bcp's, prenatal vitamins and baby asprin! Its a lot to take and I am struggling. Oh well only 11 more days on the bcps.

Sorry I haven't been here all week. Not been on the pc much at all.

Very quick post, haven't read any of the post properly, but did notice we had a new lady, so Stephanie, hope your stay here is successful and happy.

I've had another session of Acupuncture & Craniosacral Therapy on Saturday, and this time it included Relaxation therapy. It was the most amazing thing I've ever been through, and I swear I had an outer body experiance, and I was lying there crying and didn't even know it, it was like I was in a trance or something ...more details on that later.

My therapist was so taken by this, she gave me her CD that she's being using, as she said I'm emotionally connected to it now, saying that it's a it's a very very good start to the cycle . She worked on my tummy and ankles for Down Regging preparation that I'm starting today.

So it's Buserelin injections twice daily from today. AF should come around CD 30 - March 14. Baseline scan is on CD6 - March 19th to check down reg responce and if all is ok then, CD7 - March 20th start Menopur FSH/LH injections. Follice tracking scan 8 days later CD14 - March 27th, CD17 - March 30, Follicle tracking to see if eggs are ready for collection. Posible ER on CD20 - April 2nd, and Possible ET around CD22 or 23 - April 4th or 5th .


Nic - Good luck with your sniffing today babes, it'll be funny comparing symtoms now we're down regging together.

Just a quick thanks to everyone for welcoming me to the group. I wish I would have had you guys last time. I felt so alone and scared.

Does anyone else bleed during the pill??? That does not seem normal but my doc says no big deal!

Down Regging…what is that “when you are taking the pill??? Also what is sniffing??? I am new and trying to figure all this stuff out so I know what the heck everyone is saying..LOL 

Me- Just got back from the in-laws and found out my other sis-in –law is prego also…now both are pregnant and due 2 weeks apart and I am left out in the cold!!! Well we are leaving Thursday for Santa Fe New Mexico to go Snow Skiing….DH wanted to help me pass the time…since it seems like it is standing still for me right now. On the 21st I will start stimming ( scan and baseline), EC on the 2nd and ET on the 5th w/assisted hatching…if we do PGD they will wait and transfer on the 7th instead and BETA on the 16th TAX DAY!!!

Why do we cry all the time…for nothing…LOL

Well if I missed anyone I will make it up next time!

We finally got our schedule, we were not sure if we were going to go again so soon, it is an extra $2000 for the FET, but as it turns out my DH wants to go for it.

We did our baseline on the 22nd of Feb. We have another ultrasound on the 16th of March and or ET is going to be on the 23rd of March. My how time flies!

I hope all is well with every one! I have been away from the site for so long that I need to catch up.

hey all! everything went great!

first things first- aspiration- what they said I think is a tissue biopsy of dh's testes where they get sperm. we didn't want to have a reversal because lots of $$ just to try to get pg- you know. if we spent lots of money- I wanted a good shot- so that's why went with ivf/icsi.

they made a small cut- no more than 1/2 inch on dh's scrotum and got in some "vein" or whatever they call it and then sucked out the tissue from there- then they had to take the sperm out of the tissue.
dh is sore- he's black and blued pretty bad- all the way up to his belly too, and he's swollen a bit. we've tried keeping frozen peas on there to decrease the swelling- and it's worked a bit, but still swollen. now he said it's itching- healing i guess.

ec went GREAT! they ended up taking 38 eggs (I had 40 my last us but they weren't very big but 30 was a good number) and 37 of them were mature enough to fertilize.
got a call on sunday AM and 29 made it through the night! 29 embies! yay! we should definitely have 1 live baby from that!

I go back tent. tomorrow at 10:30 am for the transfer- that's day 3 or thursday, day 5.

very excited to finally have the babies growing inside of me. (dh has been silly- meds i think- and been calling me his baby's 'momma yesterday and today- it's cute)
and it's out 2 year anniversary! yay! we sat and watched out wedding video last night- made us both cry- so much has changed in those 2 years. then we went to chinese food for celebrate! hahaha!
