Hi Michelle~
I agree with your take on the symptoms....I have had lots of them in the past, with no +++++++++++ result :( ......so it can def. be s/e from all the meds. I'm trying to keep a positive attitude and hopefully we will have success.

Best of luck to you and all the other 2WW ladies. Let's get some BFP!!!!

HI LADIES JUST THOUGHT I'D SEND SOME POSITIVE VIBES YOUR WAY. THIS WAS MY 2ND IVF ATTEMPT......THE 1ST ATTEMPT NONE OF MY 12 EGGS FERTILIZED....THE 2ND ATTEMPT I HAD 7 FERTILIZED, AND WE DID A 5 DAY TRANSFER OF (2) 4 CELL EMBIES, AND ONLY 2 MADE IT TO BE FROZE. THE 2 WW WAS VERY LONG AND SINCE I DIDN'T HAVE ANY SYMTOMS, I DID THE BAD DEED OF TAKING A HPT THE MORNING OF MY BLOOD TEST SO I COULD PREPARE MYSELF FOR THE PHONE CALL....AND IT WAS NEGATIVE. WELL, THE PHONE CALL CAME AND IT WAS POSITIVE! I'M NOW 7 WEEKS ALONG STILL WITH NO SIGNS OF BEING PREGNANT.

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS OF POSITIVE VIBES AND LOTS OF PATIENTS GO OUT TO ALL YOU WAITING TO GET THE NEWS OF STRONG BFP!!!!

Hi Cherry and all other ladies,

Isn't it something really important and encouraging from Wisconsingal? Her message told us 3 things:

1. Sucess will come after failure
2. 4 cell embies do work;
2. No symptoms can be a good sign;
3. Don't trust HPT

Let's us all get strong BFPs and have lots and lots healthy and happy babies.

Thank you so much for the information.

Here here !! Your input is great! I felt so bad about my Day 3 4-cell embies and now I feel so much better. Wisconsongal, I am so glad to hear that you had success with your 4-cell embies. It can happen. Here's to a happy & healthy 7+ months!!

HANG IN THERE LADIES.......THERE ARE MANY SUCCESS STORIES ON THIS BOARD AND I'M HOPING AND PRAYING YOU GUYS ALL HAVE BFP'S TOO!

I'M TRYING LIKE HELL TO PRACTICE WHAT I PREACH, AND THAT IS TO TRY AND STAY CALM AND POSITIVE......YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE HOW MANY TIMES A DAY I CATCH MYSELF JUST REPEATING THAT TO MYSELF AND REMEMBERING WHAT MY BEST FRIEND TOLD ME THAT RIGHT NOW STRESS IS MY ENEMY......AND I JUST HAVE TO NOT FOCUS ON ANYONE OR ANYTHING NEGATIVE RIGHT NOW BECAUSE IT WON'T HELP ME ONE BIT.

PATIENTS & HAPPY THOUGHTS TO YOU ALL!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe your HPT was negative but your blood tests was positive, that's got me really worried cause my clinic don't do blood tests as standard, I have to do a HPT this Friday exactly two weeks after transfer (I had one 4 cell and one 6 cell transferred). I've had symptoms but I think that was due to the retrieval and the meds as they've dissappeared now, I know symptoms don't always mean anything so I'm not too worried about that, but I really thought that a HPT would show positive by that time. I've got two ClearBlue tests which my clinic recommended, I just hope they are accurate! But thankyou for the encouragement and hope.

Kessa,

When was your transfer again? You said it was on the 26th but you said you have to do a hpt this Friday which is exactly 2 weeks. My transfer was on the 25th and I go in for my blood test tomorrow. I took hpt this morning and it was negative. Many people have said not to read too much into it as they have done tests on the same day as blood test and the hpt came out ---ive and the their blood test came out +++ive. The waiting sucks but good luck to you.

I got my dates mixed up and couldn't figure out how to edit my post. I had my ET on Friday 23rd Feb. My point was that I won't be getting a blood test, my clinic has told me I have to do a HPT two weeks after transfer which is this Friday, 9th March. I assume by this time (would be due for period on friday) that I would get a true result even on a HPT? It seems like you guys get a blood test sooner after the transfer therefore it wouldn't show on a HPT? I wish I could have a blood test, at least I would certain :?

Girls,

I wanted to offer you all some encouragement. This is just a brief rundown of my cycles

1st IVF BFP but miscarried 6 weeks. Low quality embryos
2nd IVF BFN
3rd IVF Embryos didn't divide, no transfer. Consultant told us to consider egg donation but I refused.
4th IVF BFN Better quality embryos.
5th IVF BFP Twins Top quality embryos. I detoxed before this cycle and cleared my body of toxins, drank no alcohol through cycle, did a colonic hydrotherapy, and drank minimum 3L water a day.

I have barely any symptoms. I'm only now starting to get morning sickness and its not much. I don't have sore boobs at all although I had tingly ones initially. I get some cramping but it feels like your period is about to start and then it disappears.

Please don't be disillusioned by lack of symptoms or signs and never think that the results of "this" cycle will be the same every time.
I followed my heart and I am so glad I did. If I had taken the consultants advice after cycle 3, god knows where I would be now.

I wish you all the best of luck and success in your treatments and hope you keep believing in yourself.

Hi everyone,

I just got a call from the clinic saying that I got a BFN. No luck!!

I handle it ok, after all I only got one emby transferred and the chance should be lower. Just being sick of spending all the time and money to repeat the process again.

Anyway, I think I will rest for 2 to 3 cycles. Good that I don't have to take the drugs anymore for the next few months and most importantly, I need to lose some weight cos I had stopped working out for quite some time because of the treatment.

Nevermind, I am sure all of you will be luckier than me. Be brave and let me know your results.
