Hi!!!

The sniffing has begun!!!!
DH has branded me a druggie!!!! said was i sure i wasn't snotting coke!!! ?

Anyway, i was worried and didnt sleep well before, but woke at 7am and went striaght into sniff, the 1st spray was ok, and then 30 seconds later the liquid run down to my throat, I thought i was going to be sick, it made me gag!!! yuk!!!!
I cleaned my teeth, and then worried that i'd spat it out!!!
So this evening, i just drank water, and that seemed to do the job!! I still gagged when it hit the back of my throat, but now im of the starting mark, it feels good!!

Hi Ladies,
Well i have finally had some dates from the clinic, they have advised that we do ICSI this time around because of my egg quality and on the short protocol. So i have to ring with next AF in April hopefully fingers crossed Easter Sunday 8th, EC 20th. I hope we get to ET as last time all my eggs bar 2 sorry were not good.

hey, I had to do ICSI last time with the short protocal. My egg quality, not so good... However, the one egg that fertilized, did implant. Emma, hopefully, this time, you'll suprise them and have an Easter basket full of eggs...

Hi,
I finished my chlomid on Sunday, had my blood drawl yesterday. Yesterday I also had my saline ultrasound to see if my uterus is OK. The DR said it is Perfect. So now, once Aunt Flow arrives, around the end of Marh, I will stark Birth Control Pills. After I am on the BC Pills for two weeks I will start the Lupron. Looks Like the ER and ET won't be happening until the beginning of May.

I am very nervous. For any of you that had a saline ultrasound, did you spot after that? I have been spotting on and off since then. I hope that is normal.

For those going through the IVF, have you bought any baby items such as toys, clothes etc...hoping you will be able to use them in the near future? I found myself buying some baby things on clearance!

Hey Donna, yes, I have bought several baby items and maternity clothes. I'm a bargain hunter and if I find a good deal, I'll buy and put back. However, after my m/c last month, I found that I had to box this stuff up, out of sight, to deal with it. But, I don't see anything wrong with this. About your other question, are you referring to the hsg procedure? If so, I had that done years ago and yes, spotting is normal. If you get anything more than that, you probably should call your RE.

just curious but I was wondering what everyone's occupation/job was? ...and if you planned on continuing to work after you are blessed with your child?

Up until last summer, I averaged 60 hours a week working as a Finance Admin, decided it wasn't worth it because I needed to spend more time with my DD who is 6. So, I worked out a deal with the same company to work "contract" part time from home. It is wonderful! I have been blessed with my current employer. They have been great. Plus my daughter is loving having mom around.

Jovigal - I am a secondary school teacher - and if we are blessed with a baby I would love to go part time!

nicolamark - congrats on starting sniffing - you are officially a druggie! LOL.

Donna - I haven't bought any baby stuff - don't want to jinx anything - just my personal opinion though - you can't knock a bargain!

hello, everyone - can I join the list of april buddies? I'm about to start my second go at IVF after a failed attempt in Feb due to zero fertilisation . Stimms start 23rd March and I'm hoping that means EC between 1st and 5th April. Feeling really low at the moment as am petrified to be going through this again.
