Carolyn ~ that's great news! I actually think a Day 6 transfer is more in line with when they naturally implant...so, even better! Lots of PMA and can't wait to hear how it goes :D !

Shantala - good luck today on ER...! Lots of rest today!

Momtojazzie - hang in there on the wait...I know the last week seems to be the most intense. Hope you are able to stay away from the HPT!!! We seem to have had a string of successes most recently, so hope you add to the list!

Good luck to everyone else who is stimming...I am going to hopefully join you next week! Finally!

I saw my name on the list with a blank next to it - so I'll update you. Thanks for including me and sorry I've been absent for a while, but not much to tell lately! I start the Estrogen Patches on tomorrow, March 6th and a shot on Thursday that will make me start my menses. 2nd day of menses I start stimming!! I'm so ready!

Hugs XOXO

hi ladies

just a quick one for me....

the actual EC was no problem at all....when i came round they told me we had 15 eggs so we were really pleased...however, when the embryologist came through she told us only 5 were mature and one is still undecided...she said she was disappointed and the least to say we are disappointed. she said about 50% usually fertilise so we're looking at maybe 2 or 3 if we're lucky....

i'm quite upset as we expected a lot more and 5 seemed even more of a set back once we were told we had 15! i'm worried we wont have any tomorrow or maybe just one, although at this point i would be happy if just one makes it. i was really hoping we would have enough to freeze some so that the pressure is off slightly if it doesnt work first time. now it looks like we'll have none to freeze which means the pressure is on for this first cycle to work (if we get that far!) as we dont know if we'll be able to do it financially again....

anyway, sorry its a bit negative but its difficult to feel positive at the moment...they are going to call us tomorrow morning about 10am - ish to let us know how many fertilised. i'm praying that we'll have at least one...

thanks everyone for your well wishes!

carolyn - fantastic news!!! i'm soooo pleased for you!! you sure have some fighters there!!

Shantala honey

Sorry you are feeling a bit negative, but its only natural. However, remember my story...? Only 3 eggs, 2 of which fertilised, and look what happened. Try to hold on the fact that it does only take one.

I will be praying for you. I know the wait to see how they've done is agonising, but try and keep positive for your little eggies. I will keep everything crossed this end for you honey.

Chin up and let us know how you get on.

Love Emma xxx

Shantala- Just popped in here to check on you sweetie. I'm sorry you are upset about your eggies but if you stop to think about it 5 is still good!!!!

I'm praying so hard for you that you get a great fert report. It's natural to worry but keep the faith. I think everything will turn out just fine for you, I really do.

Please let us know as soon as you hear anything!!

Lots of love-

I had 4 eggs 3 fertilized and 2 made it all the way through!!
I had one put back which made a baby and one froze. So please honey don't go by the numbers too much.

mominwaiting and ems - your stories do keep me hope. they really do!! i've had a little sleep (coz i'm still in absolute agony!!) and i feel more positive now. you are so right, it only takes one! i really appreciate your support!! thanks ladies!! xx

steph - thanks honey!! you're right, if i stop and think 5 isnt bad at all. i think what i worry about is that the numbers already reduced from 15 to 5 so if they reduce like that again....well. if they had said to me from the start i had 5 i think i would have been a lot more positive. anyway, like ive said, ive had a little sleep and i feel a bit more positive now. thanks for your wellwishes hunny!! hows the stimming going??

oh, i dont know what i would do without you ladies!! thank you all so so much!! mwah!

Hi Shantala

I just popped in to see your news. I can understand why you feel a bit down if they said the higher number first. But 5 is great. And it really is all about good quality eggs rather than just the pure numbers.

I shall pray tonight that your 5 little uns do really well and that you get a good fert report tomorrow. Especially if they are high quality then no reason why more than 50% cannot fertilise for you.

Sending you huge hugs. Get some sleep and look after yourself. Your little ones will be back where they belong before you know it.

Lots of Love
Carolyn

Shant if you will try a heating pad on your tummy it will make you feel TONS better, I also used some of those heatign patches for menstural cramps for a few days after if I did not have access to heating pad. they really help!! The heating patches I would sleep in. they say not too, but it didn't do anything to me, but help me sleep!!!!!
Let me know if this helps!!!

Hi shantala sweetie..i've posted to you on march cycle...hope you're feeling a bit better about everything now...sending you lots of PMA...and please try and get good sleep.

Carolyn...good luck for tmw...hope you manage to fit everything in with acu before and after....day 6 embies hey :D ....i think that's great and how wonderful that it shortens that dreaded 2ww! At guys hosp they say that increasing the number of days out significantly increases the chances of BFP...so are you putting back one or two?? Good luck....will be thinking lf you and praying for you!

Mum to Jazzie...hope the days fly by for you!

As for me..well i am going for a scan tmw to check if lining is thin and if so then i can start stimming...i'm quite anxious but starting to get a bit excited i haven't really had any symptoms to downreggin drugs...been sniffing so worried that it hasn't been working....well i'll find out tmw i guess!

Good night all!
