3 you reckon, eh? i like you!! i would be happy with just one!! i was just speaking to dh and we both agreed 5 isnt actually that bad. we both also agreed that it just seemed worse as they told us 15 originally. so come on little fighters...you can do it!! i do hope i get some sleep tonight....i'm still in agony and feel like ive been kicked by a horse!! but i keep dosing myself up and with a bit of luck that will do the trick. anyway, thank you so so much for your support!!cinny - thanks honey!! any news on your beta yet??

It's better that you knew right away, though... imagine the shock if you had waited for the fert rate call thinking you had 15 mature eggs! Think about what my doc said, though... the average woman can expect only 50% of her retrieved eggs to be mature. Even if you didn't have a high maturity rate, the next stages could be completely different. You could still have a very high fert rate after all; just as you could have had 15 mature eggs and only a couple ferts, too. I know this is very nerve wraking, and I know having frozen embies gives you some kind of backup that makes the process feel even more worth it, but do remember that it's not over till it's over. It does only take one to do the trick, or even two if you're aiming for twins. Hang in there sweetie, watch TV, read, cuddle, and reward yourself. You've been through a lot so far for these embies, and you did everything you could. It's out of your hands for now. How is the pain hunny? I hope it's not too bad... keep us posted, and I'll send you tons of vibes. Divide and conquer, little embies!
