This is my story:
I am 30 and dh is 31. We were strictly male factor. After 4 failed IUI's we decided to try IVF once.. (ONCE because I don't think we could afford it twice!) We had our egg retrieval on February 17th. We ended up with 19 eggs, with the help of ICSI, 12 fertilized and we ended up with 8 blastcysts. We transferred 2 embryos (blasts) on February 22nd. I returned on March 2nd and found out that I am pregnant! BFP++++. I again returned on March 5th and they said the numbers are looking great. We are soo very excited. I will return to the doctor next week for first U/S to see how many? I just wanted to share my journey and tell everyone out there that has BFP++'s Congratulations and to all of you still trying... Don't give up cause it can happen... And it CAN happen on the first try.

Your story is so similar to my own! We have unexplained infertility and had 3 failed IUI's before getting a bfp on our first IVF go. We also had a bumper crop of eggs (13 eggs, 11 fertilised, 2 took and so 9 in the freezer for later!) I am now 23 weeks pregnant with twins!
Best of luck with your ultrasound and perhaps I'll be hearing from you on the "double trouble" thread soon???????
