Hi Shantala

Thanks for the congratulations, am indeed over the moon carnt stop smiling, but also carnt believe its happened. Always wanted to know what a positive test looked like, my lovely fiance said he would draw a couple of lines on one for me!! lol.. Its just with not having any blood tests to confirm and having to wait another 2 weeks to make sure everything is ok, its like the 4ww. Will keep taking test a couple of times a week to make sure my levels are still there.

How are you getting on? is everything going good

xx

hi teen

i so know what you mean!! never seen an HPT with two lines on!! my clinic is the same, no blood tests or anything like that so you just have to wait for the scan if you get a BFP. that must be even worse. i'm sure i would keep testing too if i got a BFP.

i'm ok thank you. got my ET tomorrow so very excited!!! which clinic in london are you attending?? dont know about you but i do wish they did blood tests to put my mind at rest...

Yep wish they did do the blood test as i really don't understand what all the levels mean that the ladies are talking about!!

I'm at Kings College Hospital in London, think i'm with them until i have my scan then i can either stay under Kings or go to St Thomas.

Good luck with your ET tomorrow, don't forget to look at the screen when there going back in. I could'nt watch as carnt hold my wee and was concentrating on not wetting myself. lol. although did see a little, was amazing wish i'd seen more.

Seems alot of ladies were told to have bed rest after ET i was told to not go to bed and stay active. What have they told you to do?

Take care and look after your self. Will send you lots of baby dust!

hi T

yeah, i would prefer to have blood tests...most ladies on here get beta numbers which is the level of pregnancy hormone in your blood and that is what has to double to make sure its a viable pregnancy. but unfortunately we dont get that. never mind, there's not a lot we can do about that.

thank you for your well wishes, i'll definitely wanna see my littluns going back....god, i'm so excited.

i have seen discussions on here before about what to do after ET. some clinics say bedrest, others say no bedrest so i really think its up to the clinic. dont know what mine suggests yet as they tell you stuff as you go along. so they told me everything about stimms just before i started stimms, then everything about EC on day of EC, etc. so i actually know nothing about ET and what they do or dont want me to do. i'll find out tomorrow though...especially coz i have soooo many questions for tomorrow!!

take care and look after yourself!!
