Hi Ladies,
Well Dr. Smelly Fingers just called. I can't stop smiling. My beta is now 3000!! He said he was in shock! He says, that's pretty impressive. lol Then he says, I should start picking out multiple names! He then asked if I wanted to come in sooner because he could probably see something on the ultrasound now but probably wont be able to see a heartbeat until next week. I decided to just keep my appointment for next Friday. I am so happy. My levels went from 167 to 3000 in almost a week!

Coco—Thanks for calming me down and smacking me back into reality. I think I need to go watch the secret again. I definitely need to say it, know it and believe it! Thank you so much!!

Nomal Patie—The law is the law. How can he raise your rent? Do the sisters need to come down there and beat his ass with a dildo cam! Who does he think he is? He is messing with the wrong lady! You tell him he better keep your rent where it is or there will be hell to pay! Awwww, tell the fishies hi for me. Love the names. What kind of fish are they? What color are they? Fee: One thing i have learned from this board is that the worrying never really ends... in fact, my sil always tells me how it keeps going, even after birth. VERY disappointing as i always thought once i actually got preg it would be smooth sailing. Guess not. I imagine dh and i will be an anxious mess once preg. HA! on the guy asking you if you were preg.... VERY FUNNY!!! And your response was tops!

Coco: sorry to hear the lupron ha has arrived. i have a mild, constant ha now, which if i remember right is what i had last time on lupron. I take tylenol once or twice a day if it starts distracting me, o/w mine isn't too bad.

Vicky: wow! it does seem like yest that we were all on the Nov thread... time flies (does that mean this is fun??? ) and i am glad to hear that you will be starting BCP in prep for your cycle. Come on AF!!!

Meg: see, as for telling people, i am going to be the WORST!!! I always have good intentions, but then blab away. I am a lost cause...

I know i am missing people and i apologize... have been MIA dealing with family crises (yes, that would be multiple... what is wrong with these people????). Amy... kind of wishing now that dh was an only child . BUT!!!! Although i had no time to get online yest, DID find time to do my toenails last night while on the phone stamping out trouble (or trying with little to no success ). I couldn't go in this AM with nasty chipped blue toenail polish.... i mean PRIORITIES here! So i had brand spankin' new sparkly blue toenail polish for dildocam rendezvous this AM... and even took a pumice stone to my heels. So far, follicle #s not looking as good as last time. Not real worried... figuring everything will even out over three cycles.

Wanna- WOW! great numbers! More than one would be great! You must be soooo excited to see what is going on in there!

Patie- you go girl with your genetically normal self! Way to go! The fish sound great!

Sassy- Glad to see your appointment with dildocam went ok and you are staying positive. I bet it is easy to stay pos. with freshly painted blue sparkly toes! I need to get some blue sparkly for my next go round. I think you are right it will all even out over the cycles.

Meg- I'm sorry word got out to some before you could get to them. I don't really have a plan for telling people. DH and I live in another state though so I could just stay here until i'm huge and then go home and be like "surprise!" I think they would KILL me! Probably need to come up with another plan!

Vicky- so you're getting closer to your FET!!! YIPPY!

Fee- stay positive, Patie is right I think it is normal to be scared.

Coco- I mentioned accu. to DH and he laughed at me. I took that as a "please don't go to accu." so i didn't. But i wish I had. He has issues with alternative medicines i think! I really think it could work as far as getting my cycles regular though, I've heard a lot about it.

Well that is all for now. gotta go stretch my fingers out. going bowling tonight with friends! Wish me luck- I suck at bowling!

I haven’t been able to catch up on all that missed this week, but I do have some news… not good though – well good, but not good for me. I got back today and woke up at 3AM to catch the plane out of Dallas, got to FL at 9:30 (just so happened to run into my DH at the airport) so I snuck a kiss and he was off…

Well I get to the office to do a few things and the Part Timer at the office, the one that just got married on the 17th of last month – she’s pregnant! She got pregnant on her honeymoon! Gosh, if it was only that easy for us, huh! First month you try, and volia!

HI sistas, Just wanted to say thank for all your sweet messages - means alot, really does. Wanna - your numbers are awesome, well done you and Patie too, well done for your normal diagnosis!

I am hanging there til scan tomorrow - really have no idea what to expect - feeling a dull aches and twinges down there but nothing like the first time when there were 20+. So don't really know how I should be feeling if I had a normal crop of follies.

Will up date tomorrow - DH is taking me to a movie tonight - my choice Miss Potter - I love all the Beatrix Potter characters - with my hormones as they are, there will probably be buckets as i watch it.

Have great Friday all - for once I am glad my job is busy so I can take mind off things.

Sassy—Sorry about the headaches. Hope you feel better soon. Is the Tylenol working? Good Job on the new toes!! You are such a class act!

Jenn—Ha, I like your plan to tell people. I was actually thinking of doing that myself. Not telling anyone. Then go visit once I was showing. Then when people ask if I’m pregnant, I will reply with tears rolling down my face…are you calling me fat. Then again I know I wouldn’t be able to pull that off and my family and friends would kill me.

Meg—DH and I were just discussing when to tell people. Deep down inside we want to wait but it’s getting harder to keep it to yourselves. We really want people to share in our happiness but we want to make sure we are in the clear first. Only a few people know. Our family and close friends don’t know yet. It’s difficult keeping this from them. Especially when people keep asking. I’m dancing around the answer. I feel like I am hiding something important. Not sure how much longer I can keep this up. Also, if I am having twins I might be showing a lot sooner.

Fee—How are you? Hope you're taking it easy and not stressing out.

Angie—Have fun at the movies! Stay positive.

Coco—I did accu this cycle. Not sure if it made a difference or not but at least I can say I tried.

Mel—All I can say is Wow about the office mate. Man, must be nice to just have DH look at you and you get pregnant.

Well I just got back from primary care doctor. The last two days I have been having sharp pains in the back of my head and my neck and shoulder are sore. Thought maybe I had an ear infection or something. The entire right side of my head, ear, and neck are sensitive to the touch. Apparently I have temporomandibular joint disorder (the hinge connecting the upper and lower jaw isn't working properly). Dr seems to think that I grind my teeth when I sleep. He asked me did I; I told him I didn’t know…since I am asleep. So due to my current state he said I could only take Tylenol and put heat on the affected area. But it will go away eventually.

Oh well, off to lay my head on the heating pad now. Hope you all have a wonderful evening/morning.

Wanna: Is the diet any better? Remeber Ginger is good for nausea, like crystalized ginger or pickled ginger, that might even help if you are jonesing for some sushi I am sorry to hear about your neck! I hope that it gets better fast, and on it's own!!! Hey, are you going to change your ticker????

Angie: 6 is great!!! I am so sorry to hear about the under stimming, really! But get yourself down, it will all even out in the end, promise!! You are a trooper for sticking it out as long as you are! I am SO proud of you!

Vicky: How is my new boyfriend Sanson doing? I hope he's learning quickly and he's making lots of friends at school!

Sassy: How are your headaches? I hope they are getting better, and fast! I mean how long can you handle debilitating headaches, and be expected to function as a human! I wish there was something I could do for you! Are they getting any better?? (there is something else I was going to ask you about the ??? and I cannot read my own handwriting!)

Fee- How are the pessaries? How have you been feeling? (and again, I have a note to ask you about not telling and seeing, but I cannot remember for the life of me what that means!) Gosh it stinks to get old!!!

Patie!!!! I feel so left out, I never got to see the dress, please, please please, PM me the dress, I SO wanna see it!!! I love the comment, Elope like normal people, HA! You know DH and I eloped, and then 3 years later we got married and never told my parents or his that we’ve been married for 3 years longer than they think we have!

Coco- How are you? How are the Stimms going? And you know I think that drinking would be just fine during stimm’ing, I can’t even imagine why it wouldn’t be, my dear friend drank during stimm’ing and her little boy is the smartest 2 year old in the whole wide world! EVER! But then after the ET, well that’s another story!

Amy – I hope the computer connection gets more stable! If I have to come over there and beat someone up, please let me know! I don’t mind at all! And just so you know, you are NOT crazy!!! I totally understand your desire for another baby and your reasoning is not necessary, but I totally understand! It makes total sense!!!

Nickster – A big ole’ welcome to you!!!

Oh, and I love that you all call me Mel!!! My family and DH call me that, and I love that you are too! And just so you all know, I didn’t wear big ole’ clumpsy shoes- I wore sneakers while setting up and then changed to wear cute shoes during the show…. And then afterwards we danced for a bit, and Katie (the girl in my office I travled with) asked me to take my shoes off so that my toe wasn’t getting so much pressure, which made sense, but I thought that I probably shouldn’t and then would you believe she stepped on my toe! I am SO glad that I didn’t take my shoes off!!! And then when I got home I took the bandages off, and I guess all of the rubbing with my ring finger toe, I got a blister on the inside of my baby toe… poor widdle toe!!! (well that’s my toe update!)

Wanna: so sorry about the TMJ issue... sounds like a total pain (no pun intended )

Headache just now very mild... i can do this for another wk or so without a problem. This is more what i remember from the lupron. I am not responding nearly as well this time compared to my last cycle... E2 levels aren't rising nearly as well as before. So ER will be later than we expected... just don't know how much later. I am feeling bloated, so i am hoping that my us/bw tomorrow show improvement.

Was feeling all funny and humorous this am... but wasn't able to post due to computer at work not liking this page. Now i am in the depths of a hormone-induced mood swing.... so sorry... nothing light and funny to say. Going out with dh tonight. Ahhh, will be nice to have a break from the family drama. Speaking of family drama... anyone interested in a rant??? I will have to do it over pms (wanna-style.... wasn't it you, wanna???), as i think a family member checks these boards occas. and i knows my username. So anyone interested, just let me know... it is a doosey!!!! And i think it would be very therapeutic for me to let it fly!!!!

I also tried this morning but couldn't get on for some odd reason and now I am so grouchy that I think I should use the "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all rule". I am ALL in for a good rant. I think it would make me feel better to know that someone else is as irritated as I am right now.

Wanna - TMJ sucks. You might want to think about a night guard. Super romantic, but with your current situation(2 buns and all), shouldn't interfere much. Have they recommended braces?? That is what my girlfriend just had to get. I just look at her and have nightmares from 8th grade.

Mel - What kind of shoes can you wear with this toe issue. You might need to start summer sandals early.

Crickey I'm back! (that was for you Amy)! Well I've had a hell of a morning getting DH off to Sydney to the wedding. He is so disorganised, I did all his packing and arranged accommodation etc.. we rocked up to the airport too late to check his carefully packed suitcase on...With only 10 minutes to go till the flight left do you think I could find anyone to help me???? Had to sprint up and down the airport looking for some sign of intelligence in the staff, eventually found a moderately functioning person who was able to assist and managed to get DH on the flight just before it closed. Man I think I'll be a great mother, I've been looking after a child (DH) for years now...

Angie, hope your scan went well today and the wait has been worth it. I bet you cried buckets at the movie....my mum reckons it was great. Anxiously awaiting your news....

Mel, glad to hear that you prioritised decent footwear over your foot health. You are a true sister. Hope your toes heals up so there is no further risk of you having to wear unattractive shoes. No one doing IVF should have to put up with that sort of pain...

Coco- are you uncoiled yet? Makes your acupunture lady sound like a snake charmer....Now I'm thinking about your signs that you can throw out when we win the house. Have you come up with anything yet??? Given your status as a "wild potato" perhaps you could fashion yourself a necklace out of wild potatoes.
