Hi Michelle--
I am so sorry about your BFN. I had it in my head that today was your test date and I was wondering about you. I do hope you will take a couple of days to rest. I know you are disappointed but it sounds like you are already making some plans to do some things for yourself (other than torturing yourself with needles) for the next few months. I am sending a big hug your way. I had a neg HPT today and the blood test is tomorrow. Will let you know...

Hi Gigi,

Thanks a lot. I will talk to my doctor over the phone today and see what our plan is. I really hope it will work for me in the next cycle.

Don't care too much about the HPT. I will pray for you for a BFP. Do let me know your result. If it is a BFP, you can cheer me up a bit.

Michelle,
BFN :( .
It will just take some time.
I have a facial scheduled today and am going back to the gym.
Life will go on...
Take care of you!

Michelle & Gigi~
I'm so sorry for your BFNs.... :( :( . I feel like I'm probably next. I guess I should be more positive. I've just had all BFNs through 3 yrs of TTC. So I guess I would be shocked with a BFP.

Take care of yourselves. I know how you both feel. Some pampering sounds good!

Hi Girls,
Michelle I'm so sorry to hear about your bfn, hope the next couple of months go okay for you.
I did my HPT this morning and I'm shocked to say it was a BFP  I just can't believe it, I did two tests just to make sure. Part of my surprise is that it worked first time and I really didn't expect it to, I haven't had any real symptoms, but I was getting quite a few twinges/pain which I honestly believed was AF on it's way. Got my first scan on 30th March to see how many babies there are, and I can't wait, all this bloody waiting!! Now I'm wishing away the weeks till I'm out of the initial danger zone (up to 12weeks). I'm so happy but still in disbelief. Thankyou to all of you for your support, I hope you get your BFP soon.

Hi Kessa.....sorry for all the questions! I read your old posts, where I found all the answers!! I was so excited for you, so I just started typing like a manwoman! Anyway, you said that you transferred a 4-cell & a 6-cell! Wow! That gives me hope. We had (2) 4-cells, (1)3-cell and (1)2-cell. I'm hoping one of them stuck. Anyway, congrats again. You must be thrilled!! :) Cherry

Hi girls,

Kessa, congratulations!!!! I am soooo happy for you too. Someone in our team has made it. Take good care of yourself and wait for the lovely baby to come.

Gigi, I am so very sorry about your BFN. I know exactly how you feel. So what is your plan? Are you going to do it again? I have spoken to my doctor and she suggested me to start a fresh cycle in April which I think should be the right time. So if everything goes smoothly, I will have my EC and ET in mid May. Do you have similar plan or you want to take a break for a few months?

Cherry, hang in there. I am sure you will also get a BFP like Kessa on Monday. Do keep us posted.

Thanks for your kind words girls, I am so very happy, it's like I'm in a dream I have to keep pinching myself to make sure it's real!
Cherry goodluck for Monday and your 4 embies, don't worry about the small cell size as long as they keep growing you can get a BFP, I didn't even know 4 and 6 cell were small but I guess different clinics have different protocols like preferring to transfer blasts, I didn't even know that was an option. I'll be thinking of you.

Hi ladies,

I'm not quite at the two week wait yet- my transfer is scheduled for early May, but I was just wondering how long everyone stayed on bedrest after the retrieval and after the transfer. I'm just trying to straighten out my work schedule. Thanks!

Michelle,
To tell you the truth, we have not even thought about where to go from here. I am thinking I will rest until the fall. I want to enjoy the summer and we have a couple of trips planned, so we'll see. Am already thinking positive thoughts for you in April. I spent lots of money on clothes and shoes today so have had a good day...

Kessa, please keep us posted on your progress and don't pinch yourself too hard!!

Cherry, let us know when you test so we will know when your BFP is!

Stephanie, my clinic had me on bedrest for 72 hours. I mostly stayed on the couch. I have read several that had no bedrest and some that were 48 hours. My personal opinion is that it is more about limiting your activity, keeping your heart rate down, not lifting, etc...

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Bad news...negative beta for me!! I wish everyone else the best of luck. I'm just going to take some time to regroup.
