Our babies are waiting for us somewhere

Post by Michelle J »

Hi, after reading all the messages I come to understand that this bloody IVF thing is just a matter of time and patience. The whole thing won't stop until you get PG finally and have a lovely baby in your arms.

Sometimes, you may get fed up with all the shots, meds, USGs, ECs, ETs, sypmtoms, urine/ blood tests etc and think of ending all this nonsense and be a "normal" person again but at the end the more times you fail, the more you want to try it again because you just can't think of any reason why all the others can make it but you can't. To me, the only explanation is that I am less lucky than the others for the time being.

Remember? All of us are healthy lovely ladies before starting the treatments but now we have to go to the hospital/ clinic all the time. Of course we are still lovely and beautiful but now we are busier than before because we have to follow the doctor's all sorts of advice. Besides, we have a lot to think and worry about now.

Well, sorry for being sacarstic and I hope I did not irritate/ offend you. Just try to air out a bit. You know, it is so good to have this forum

OK. after the recent failure (actually it happened 2 days ago) of my first IVF cycle, I and my DH (he is a lovely and caring guy) have decided to start a fresh cycle again. You know why? because we know our baby is waiting for us somewhere. He/ she has just got lost at the moment and looking for the right way to get back home. What we need to do now is just to give the baby some time and patience and help him/ her to find the way. See, it is just as simple as that. Don't you agree?

Mi ,

I so much agree with you . yes our babies are lost for a while . And this forum is helping us to keep our patience high . I am soooo soooorrrry for your failed IVF . My first IVF failed too last month . I will start again soon.My hubby is so loving . But u know , when ever now a days i look at him i feel so bad that i am such a horrible person not to make him a father . Nothing seems to be wrong with me . My hubby is high spermie man . May be time hasnt come yet . But then the question always comes in the mind " when is the time " ?.

Anyway's we have to keep our patience going . Meanwhile my friend has given birth to her second child . We got married together . She is one Miss Fertile . ....2 kids in 2 yrs

Mi, when are u starting again?.

i agree our babies are just preparing to come. and we just have to be patience but let me say something pavilli i am very fertile had 3 kids one pasted away at 2and i put clamps on my tubes after third until i was ready to have another one with that one i marry and i found him i just had a failed ivf and i make perfect eggs i had 2 8 cell 4grade eggs which they say they are text book and everyone thought i would be fine and it would work because i have had kids naturally with no problem and even worried i would have twins but what happen nothing. so being fertile doesnt mean anything i think it is just when is the right time and that is when the lord wants it we all just have to pray

Hi pallivi and cheekskuss,

Thanks so much for responding. Sorry to hear about your failed IVF. I think all we have to do at this stage is to give ourselves some time and wait for the moment to come.

I talked to my doctor yesterday and we have decided to start a fresh IVF cycle in April. If everything goes smoothly, I should be able to have ET in mid May. Fingers crossed.

What about you? pallivi, you said you would start again soon? It is April also? cheekskuss, do you have any plan to try again?

Let's stay positive together and prepare ourselves to be good mothers.

Tell me one thing .... do u think it will b normal ...i mean i shud expect my AF sometimes this week but i dont see any signs that i usually wud c. Usually my boobs pain . I just feel after so much stimulation removed , will my periods come naturally. My nurse has told me not to wait too long . She can prescribe Provera after an U/S.

Mi , did u have ur periods normally.
This is crazy....cant i have my periods also without any medications . . I just remember those days in school when i hated them and now ladies.... i luv them... i want them......
