VERY SCARED!!!!!!!

I HAVENT BEEN ON FOR A WHILE. FOR YOU THAT DONT KNOW ME I HAD MY FIRST IVF DONE IN JAN AND IM PREGNANT. AT 6 WEEKS 4 DAYS DOCTOR SEEN AND HEARD 1 BABY AND 1 HEART BEAT. THE HEART BEAT WAS 117 THE BABY MEASURED RIGHT SIZE DOCTOR SAID EVERYTHING IS GREAT. WELL THIS PAST SAT 3-10-07 I STARTED BLEEDING REALLY BRIGHT RED IT WAS PRETTY BAD. I WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM THEY SAID IT IS A THREGHTENED SAB AND PUT ME ON BED REST,BUT SAID MY CERVIX IS CLOSED. I WENT MONDAY 3-12-07 FOR US BABY LOOKS FINE HEART BEAT IS 171.NOT BLEEDING ANY MORE NO CRAMPS BUT HAVE FEW PAINS IN LOWER RIGHT SIDE. WENT TO OB APPOINTMENT TODAY DOC. FOUND OLD BLOOD FROM SAT. DID US SAID EVERYTHING LOOKS OK FOR NOW. STAY ON BED REST UNTILL HE RELEASES ME. I GO AGAIN APRIL 4 FOR ANOTHER US AND 1 WEEK LATER TO SEE HIM. I AM SO SCARED!!!!! HAS ANY ONE ELSE WENT THROUGH THIS AND HAD A GOOD PREGNANCY??????? HOPE TO HERE SOME GOOD NEWS FROM SOMEONE....THANKS AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL..

I'm sorry about your worries. I had a scare last night when I had some pink discharge (since stopped) I am seven weeks today.

This morning I had a look at old posts (especially in the Pregnant After Treatment) section. It seems that a lot of women experience bleeding so I got some reassurance from that.

All you can do is follow Dr's advice. It seems positive that your Dr is not TOO concerned.

In my last pregnancy I started bleeding really bad at 6 weeks. It would come and go until about 11weeks. My doctor told me it was hematoma near my placenta.
I now have 13 weeks old baby boy. Don't worry if they found a heart beat and the size of the baby is right it will be fine.

I had bleeding all the way with my second and everything was fine and now she is 8 years old. I know it very very hard at the time but it does''nt always mean m/c.

I had some bleeding around about the same time as you. My Dr told me that sometimes you bleed when the placenta is forming. I was scared to death, but here I am @ 36 wks doing great. I'm sure you'll be fine if they said everything is ok right now. Good luck!!!!

Did your RE test you for any disorders prior to doing your treatment? I had the same bleeding with my natural pregnancies and was kept on bed rest throughout both pregnancies. Hoever when I went in to do the IVF, they did some genetic testing and found out I had a blotting disorder which is what caused my m/c's and my bleeding during my previous pregnancies. If I were you, I would do what the DR says for now. By staying on bed rest, I was able to carry both my boys to term without any problems to them. This time around I am taking Heparin and I have not had any bleeding at all. My babe is doing great and I have been able to remain active. Yours could just be a chance thing, but ask your OB for answers at your next appointment. I had to learn while pregnant with the boys that bleeding did not mean I had lost them. It is hard to stay calm, but that is the best thing. According to what your have said, the baby is doing just fine. I wish you luck with the pregnancy.

I AM DOING BETTER NOT BLEEDING ANY MORE. STILL HAVE A LITTLE BROWN WHEN WIPE(SORRY) BUT OTHER THAN THAT I SEEM TO BE FINE. I WENT TO MY OB AND HE PUT ME ON BED REST UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. I DONT GO BACK TO HIM FOR ANOTHER 4 WEEKS THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG BED REST. IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY. I DONT KNOW WHAT ALL I CAN DO TO MAKE THIS TIME GO ANY FASTER. HAVE ANY IDEAS? ANY IDEAS WOULD HELP ALOT. THANKS
