D*mn, girls. I has most of the way through a long post of personals, and then like a total idiot, closed the window by accident while pretending to do work for dh. Don't have nearly enough time to rewrite it... so this is the shorter version...

Wanna: Thanks... it was killing me to read that thread and see how they were attacking each other. Did the best i could and it seems to have quieted down. As for mrs. Nega... would you consider just telling her straight up that you are doing infertility treatments but are keeping all the details btwn you and dh? And ask her to respect that.... or some version of the same? As for your friend. Yeah, it is a sticky situation you are in. But if it was me, i would want to be told sooner rather than hearing it through the grapevine later.

Patie: Hwah, hwah, hwah on the funny joke! Sorry to hear dh is acting like an a&&. I concur w/ wanna... maybe he is stressed about something and is taking it out on you... probably w/o even realizing he is doing it. I am hoping he will open up to you so you can help him.

Coco: good to read you! You wildcat lover, you. I like it, I like it. May have to use it on the blog. Speaking of blog... i will send you the link so you can be "in the know". I am also a fan of the Little Women version of the Sisterhood. Maybe we can do a double feature... Little Women and the Reproducers???!!! Glad to hear that you are more "uncoiled" (not that i know what the h*ll that is supposed to mean  )

Fee: Sorry to hear of the mini-meltdown. I can imagine it must have freaked you out. Even though i have read over and over on the boards about women having a bit of bleeding, then delivering healthy babies... i think i would be scared to death, too! Glad to hear it stopped.

meg: Ha! i had a dream about you last night (well, really it was about my honking huge ovaries, but you were in it). didn't mention you in my blog as i haven't yet explained the Sisterhood (yep, i think it will take a full post just to ATTEMPT to explain this... this... whatever it is we have here  ). And how am i going to explain the fact that i knew it was you, even though i don't actually know what you look like? It was funny, though, b/c i was all worried that my ovaries were too big (they were sticking out of my abd), and you told me that it was a "normal growth curve". I totally felt much better afterwards, 'cause i was thinking... well... Meg is preg, so she would know! I need to post an explanation of the sisterhood and your comforting role in what otherwise was a real freaky dream (oooo, parallels irl!).

Amy: thanks for the reminder that women get preg all the time on drugs, eating junk food, exercising, drinking, smoking, etc. Sometimes i get a bit too caught up in doing everything "just right". When really, if i have one diet coke, is the outcome of my cycle REALLY going to be affected. I think not.

Melissa: Oh Freak on the coworker w/the "due-in" tshirt. I am thinking that we need to add the prohibition of the tshirt into the Sisterhood bylaws (which will be kept next to the Sisterhood Handbook of IVF Hygiene).

vicky, Nickster, Jenn, Angie and (did i miss anyone???) how the h*ll are you??

I had a "wildcat" rendezvous this am. I have a bunch of follicles now.. which is better than Mon... but only 4 are mature. Apparently on Mon my E2 levels actually dropped a bit, but he ran a FSH and my absorption was down. so that is why he increased the menopur. Now... i am just waiting for my bw to come back. If my E2 level is still flat despite an increasing FSH (should be higher due to increased menoput), then i am thinking he will want ER soon (maybe fri?) in order to get the mature ones. We are expecting, though, that my E2 level will have risen, and then i am looking at Sun or Mon for ER. I want my levels to be higher, 'cause that means i would probably get more eggs... but not looking forward to a few more days of this. My pelvis is getting all heavy and uncomfortable. blech.

Thanks for the nice comments on my blog. So far i am finding it fun.. we'll see how long it lasts

These ads are so pissing me off. I try to ignore them, but AAAAAAAGGGGH!

Sassy--I love that I was in your dream! And that I was actually the voice of reason is kick ass! I'm really a little irrational in real life, so it's always nice to be portrayed as knowing what the hell I'm talking about.
I really hope your levels start behaving so you can get the transfer done when you want.

Coco--I loved Little Women when I was a kid. Loved it! I was such a little nerd (I suppose I still am....) But I liked that you got rid of the stupid, tragic Beth. We definitely don't need her...I'm sorry that you haven't been feeling well. And being "less coiled" at least sounds like a good thing to me!?!

Patie--Thanks for the joke. Always like a good laugh. I'm sorry you're husband is being such a pain. Men. I tell you what. Mine decided to wake up this morning at 5:30 with a million things to tell me (none of them very important!)

Well, I'd better get back to work. Have a good day!

A family is at the dinner table. The son asks his father,
"Dad, how many kinds of boobies are there?
The father, surprised, answers, "Well, son, there's three kinds
of breasts.
In her twenties, a women's breasts are like melons, round and
firm. In her thirties to forties, they are like pears, still nice but
hanging a bit. After fifty, they are like onions."
Onions?"
"Yes, you see them and they make you cry."

This infuriated his wife and daughter so the daughter said, "Mom,
how many kinds of 'willies' are there?"
The mother, surprised, smiles and answers, "Well dear, a man goes
through three phases.
In his twenties, his willy is like an oak tree, mighty and hard.
In his thirties and forties, it is a birch, flexible but reliable.
After his fifties, it is like a Christmas tree."
A Christmas tree?"
Yes, dead from the root up and the balls are for decoration only."

so much great material to read here - so little time today. Coco - love your Little Woman work .

Quick update from me. My scan went well and finally the follies look good and big. Dr D comment today: "Now that's more like it"

They had to do a blood test to check my estrogen levels as it has been such a wierd cycle. So now I am anxiously waiting that result and if all Ok should trigger tonight with EC on Sat - wish me luck - it has been a long time coming! Should hear in a couple of hours --- wait is agonising!

Those google ads are getting more and more obnoxious! What is it with the half page color ads?? LAME!

LOVE the Little Women script. I am thinking Patie can work on the costumes in her copious spare time and we can come in with Puritan chic look that is out of this world. You are quite the gifted writer. I can't wait to see my lines.

Wanna - Where are our US results? It must be almost 8pm there! Write damn you.

I have to go drop off some goods on the Townie (mi bicycle) before the skeeters get me. BRB...

Hello Sisters

Well the meltdown continues, had more pink discharge last night and again this morning. My clinic said to keep an eye on and if it gets heavier to call them as I may need my scan moved forward. For now I will just rush to the toilet every half hour and obsessively check the toilet paper....

Thanks for your reassurance anyhow girls, I am lucky that it is just pink and not too heavy at this stage, it's just the waiting and wondering if it's gonna clear up that is killing me.

Sass great update on your blog, I'm loving reading it, I think you've summed up the Sisterhood nicely! Good luck with your b/w hopefully EC will go ahead soon and your massive sticking out ovaries can shrink down to an acceptable size).

Angie, I'm on tenterhooks here, where is the phone call? When are you going for EC???

Wanna, In case you hadn't noticed I am also a hypochondriac. Not helpful at all with IVF I can tell you. In my mind I've suffered from OHSS, deep vein thrombosis and latterly an ectopic pregnancy throughout the IVF hell...Hey I'm a virgo too but I don't reckon I'm spoilt!! Have you had your u/s yet??? I am hanging for the result!!!

Coco, Enjoy the day time TV, it's much better when you're not really sick, hard to enjoy all the soaps with a dose of sinusitis. Anyhoo, I really like your Little Women concept but I'm not sure about me being Marmee. Quite apart from the fact that I don't want to be "matronly" I don't think I have enough common sense to be the matriach at present. Now I know Beth was a pain in the a$$ but you may have noticed that I have become quite the whimpering invalid in the past few days. I think I could fulfill that role with aplomb in my current state. Please consider. Now if you don't want to resurrect whining Beth how about a visit to the house from Anne of Green Gables. I always wanted to be Anne of Green Gables...PS enjoy the wildcat...

Now Patie, I have come to the conclusion that DH's will be infuriating on a regular basis. Mine certainly is anyway. I always think a swift kick in the shins is the way to go but I realise that most people would find that unacceptable. You are better off listening to your more rational sisters and maybe speaking with him....

Well I've got to rush off, have a client coming in in three minutes and can't find his file....

Hi fee- Pink is fine, brown is fine - only worry if it's firey red. I do feel for you though - the famous toilet check - I've had that on both my 2ww's.

Hope you found the file? What's this client been up to - anything interesting?

Still waiting for my phone call - very nervous - I have your staring at the phone disease now.

Ring ring why don't you give me a call oh oh ring ring - bursting into ABBA now .

Hi Angie, thanks for that. It just seems like there is always something to worry about. Gotta love staring at that phone. I don't know about you but when the phone rings I get heart palpitations and don't want to answer it. I bet I've got a lot more gray hair than I used to, I'll find out soon enough as my regrowth progresses nicely.

Dammit, I'm nervous waiting on your call. C'mon Dr D!

As far as the client goes, BORING blah blah blah. Couldn't find the file because I hadn't opened one yet. My work ethic is just sterling at the moment.

Angie: Dr. D is killin' me! Dying to know what is up!!

Fee: i agree w/Angie re: the pink and brown vs red. But, don't blame you for being freaked about it.

So my Dr. D ( ) called me this afternoon. My E2 levels went from 950 to 2500 in 48 hrs!!! Yep, so apparently my FSH absorption rose... just a bit  . As a result, a few more days of stims... good thing is that i have a chance now of getting more eggs. woohoo! Looks like ER will be Sun or Mon, won't find out for sure until Fri.

Ciao for now.

feeling very relieved and exhausted too - need to go home and pamper myself now (and of course tidy up my embarrassing feet which will let you all down).

I am half way up the IVF mountain ............... :D

I love being busy, I think I work better when I have 5,000 things on my plate, but I am still exhausted, and stressed and tired... did I mention how tired I was! :?

I'll get to the personals too, it seems we have alot to celebrate! :)

I am getting ready for my AF, and I am not ready for her homecoming... and since we are talking about signs, I am a Capricorn, and my DH is a Scorpio - talk about evil, gosh those scorp's will bite! Hee hee!

Did I mention the pie contest to you guys?

HRH - Hate those massive bathroom days where all you do is stress about what you "feel" and then running to the loo to confirm your worst fears. Can I tell you that I had that for my whole first trimester with DS!! He is 6 and the pink discharge has stopped. Also had some brown in there for those of you who haven't gotten a clear enough picture this morning. Moral of the story... it can just be from implantation and things moving about. Or so I was told. Either way, it doesn't mean impending doom. Do they have you on progesterone still?? I say just take it easy and don't start any unnecessary files on anyone.

Ange - CONGRATULATIONS! You have now not only completed the longest stim cycle in history, but have also come to a happy ending. 16 sounds great. This means a house will soon line up in your future. Good things happen in 3s.

Sass - Nice work on those levels. You really showed them whose boss. I am loving the blog. It is quite crafty.

Are you girls getting ready for the big retrieval?? I am not talking hcg ladies, I am referring to nails, hair, outfits?? Lets pull it together right now and knock this one out of the park. We need these embies to be welcomed into our glam environment.

Mel - Is the wedding season in full swing? Is this what is tearing you away from us?

Patie - Sounds like you had a great visit with the family. How are things going for your next cycle?

Coco - Daytime television just brings you down to a whole nother level. It just reminds you how lucky you are to be a part of the productive part of society that can read. Can you believe how many judge shows are on? Or how ridiculous the plots are on the soap operas? (although I am starting to think Lost is turning into Daytime drama... Susan Lucci will be on there before you know it) How is our play coming? Any word on our new digs?

Wanna - Any word on the u/s?? DYING out here.

Just got a refund check in the mail from some of my immunology testing. What a pleasant surprise!! 450 bucks back! That went right back to the fund!
