Question about twins

I am 24 year old doing IVF to have a long awaited child. We are tranfering 2 embryos. How many of you have had twins with the result of 2 embryos and those that have twins how many did you transfer?

We transferred 3 embrios but the Dr. made sure one was just an average grade to reduce our risks of triplets. We ended up PG with twins but we had an ideal experience with IVF and were super lucky the first time. For us, I only have one tube and the other doesn't work but other than that we had no other problems so I'm not sure if this raises your chances of twins or not???

Twins are common with IVF. Around 30-40% of births after IVF are twin births.

That is what I am hearing, 30-40%. Were I am so young they say the chances are higher. Although the reproductive doctor I am working with would rather not put the wife through having twins, hard on the mom and the babies.. Thanks for all your input!

Could anyone share their beta numbers who are having twins. My first beta (48 hours ago) 17dpt was 157 and today is was 941 and that seems kind of high. Any thoughts on if this means twins.

i am 27, and plan on transferring 2 embies in early may!
not sure how i feel about twins. . . i would be happy to have them, but i think carrying them and birthing them would be a whole other story!
