Hi Jane
I only dip in and out of the message board,I saw your question about the Winterbourne Clinic.I have had two attempts at the Winterbourne, with Mr. Dooley. He is a very very nice man and more like a family friend now.I did OHSS at Winterbourne twice. The time before we did at the Chaylebeate(Southampton) and the time after at the Lister(London)I did not OHSS on either of these. We are now waiting to have a go back at Southampton but we have to wait as they have just moved clinics and are not doing any fresh cycles yet.
I am sure you will find Mr. Dooley and the team at the Winterbourne lovely.Look out for FRAN she is larger than life but she is a really lovely person with a great sense of humour you will love her.
I hope it all goes well for you and I will dip back in and see how you got on.Do you live in Dorset?
Thoughts and wishes
Jane
xxxxx

Jane-got your message on other thread but thought you might spot reply easier on this one....

A bit off hearing from a friend, Im really cross because I only phoned a couple of weeks ago to make an enquiry. I told lady on the phone I would be starting FET next cycle and FET would be approx mid jan and could she tell me if FET would be at new clinic or Princess Ann, she said more than likely at Princess ANN as new clinic would not be ready.....this is why I am so pissed off because she gave me impression that all systems go, if she knew clinic would not be ready why did she not tell me then that I would not be able to start.....AAaaahhgggg...............

Truthfully I dont really feel like they treat us as individuals, they are probably more interested in their stats and the money!!
DO they not realise, if they were a bit moe caring and understanding, we would be more relaxed and their success rates would then be higher!! Its not rocket science....
Anyway, I take it that you have sorted out your other problems etc at Odstock.
FIngers crossed, one of us may even have the first baby at the new clinic.........how good would that be, we could get in the papers and milk the system....tell them how much IVF drains you both emotionally and financially...you never know some baby companies may take pity on us and give us some freebies!!(I can dream)

Take care
Sarah
xxx

dear sarah
I think they have pissed you of just as much as me.Haven't phoned to complain yet as I have Tonsilitus. But when I did phone about blood tests she was a right snotty so and so on the phone.
I hope we both get positive results after all this trauma, then we can milk it for all it's worth together.
I think we should charge the building company who are building the new clinic our fees for keeping us waiting.
Fingers crossed that we get to start in Feb. and I might get to see you there this time.
Speak soon
Jane
xxxxx
