Ladies ladies ladies... what great posts! Nice way to start my morning. I came home last night just tuckered out and fell asleep at 7pm. Just got up around 8am - but did I forget to mention that between 11 and 2 I was wide awake?? Yep. that sucked. Tossed and turned while watching reruns of flip that house... even the reruns couldn't lull me back to sleep!

HRH - Glad to hear the discharge is stopping. We always feel a bit fresher without it. The new ticker is just what the doctor ordered. It really represents the level of class that we are all about. You have inspired me to search out and prepare a new one.

Wanna - When is your next dildocam rendezvous? We need a countdown so I can give you a big Scorpio "I told you so." Keep taking your prenatals cause mama amy is right awn....

Patie - May Missy join Fassyal in the great kingdom of marine life.. may her passage through the waste canals be swift and clogless and may she go on to find her bretheren from the petshop... I say these things in the name of goldfish everywhere. amen. Lets have a moment of silence for our two lost sisters.

<chirp chirp chirp insert silence here chirp chirp>

Jenn - Great work hijacking a computer to check on your sisters. Shows you truly understand the powers of the sisterhood. Other than that, what is happening with you?

Sass - Loved the blog this morning. Great vial picture. I believe you can recycle those. Glass - metal - I say recycle. Do you think we should ask Fee to send us all yellow sharp bins?? I am starting to think I can use part of my refund to pay for the shipping just to have the yellow bin purse on my counter. That coupled with blue polish would seem to be a done deal. Glad to hear you cleaned up the house. I was beginning to worry that you were shooting up in filth and sleeping with empty vials and used dildocam covers. Remember, this is only the beginning of the super cycle. You have lots of time to let yourself go...

Coco - The porn industry sounds fascinating. And lucrative. I am in. Although I think by your dreams.. there is nothing small town about you. You are ready for LA with that kind of entrepreneurial spirit. Glad the girls are suppressed and ready for lift off. I am very jealous!

Mego - Happy 2nd trimester to you! You have made it into the world of eating lots and not feeling any pain. Enjoy the next few weeks... they are by far the best!

Mel - Does this pie involve the world of French Silk or is this more of a apple pie kind of thing. I might need to hit Bakers Square today just to take the edge off...

Angie - Good call on signing the house papers while partially insane. That way when you see all those numbers and the years it will take to pay it off , it won't matter too much. I say good on ya. I bought this little gem I am sitting in while going through my last little miscarriage and it was the best thing I ever did. Don't think I would have committed to anything had I not been under the influence. Now... lets go get those eggs out!

Vicky - You out at the beach? PDiddy having a party out there? Spring Break hit your town?

Hey all...

Coco-- congrats on being suppressed. On your way! As for wildcat... i am thinking it is perfect... first of all it is incognito... second of all it is much easier to work with in a humorous sense than dildocam. Now, there will be times when nothing but the term dildocam will satisfy (just so d*mn descriptive  ), but in general, wildcat is much more interesting. I LOVE the WWF idea... in fact... aren't we all members??? I can see it up in lights.... "The Sisterhood of the Blue Stilettos aka WWF". Perfect! We could even have names like the wrestlers do. Hmmmm this is some serious fodder.

Amy: kudos on the going to bed at 7pm. Sucks being up all night. Next time... try Law and Order... it is prime "falling asleep" tv. I fall asleep to it every night. You would think i would have horrid nightmares...

Patie: so sad about Missy. I suppose we can now have a joint virtual wake to celebrate that Missy and Fayssal are back together. I'd say that pizza and cookies are... well... perfect wake food for the Sisterhood. So eat up. (and have a few for me  )

Angie: waiting to hear how ER went... Sending you positive sisterhood vibes down under.

My wrangling of the wildcat was ubersuccessful this am. Showed him who is boss and rode him like a vet (oh, wait, i am a vet  ). ANYWAY... Dr. D says 13 mature... i am very very happy w/that... much better than it was looking several days ago. Since my past percentage of normal embryos has probably been, well... zero ( ), I was hoping to average 10 ferts per cycle so we would end up with at least 30 at the end. I was starting to think i would have to be happy with much less than that this time. It appears Dr. D has pulled this cycle out of the gutter! I have one overachiever that measures 31mm. Holy sh*t. No wonder i have been waddling around for the last 2 days! ER on for Sunday, which means i should trigger tonight... just waiting for the phone call. Woohoo!

Ok, a little crass humor.... i just edited this post. Didn't catch it before i submitted it.... but where i thought i had typed "10 ferts per cycle", it actually read "10 farts per cycle". Hahahaha  I thought that was so funny. D*mn, I'm ghetto!!!

Amy: No, i'm not a vet.... take care of humans (or used to until i quit  now i do admin work, consulting, and troubleshoot with sick radiation oncology patients... but no longer have a practice. Believe me... this is the life!). My training is in Internal Medicine.

Angie: Hello *echo* *echo*. Don't know what time your EC was today.... but thinking of you...

mel: so.... that is a chat thingy we could use? never done that before!

Yeah.... where the h*ll is everyone???

Sass - That is what I thought... I just wasn't quick witted enough and started to second guess when I saw the word "vet". My DH works for Sutter Medical here in Northern California. He is the IT guy though. I say this because he works in their very respected Cancer Building (Bueller) here in Sacramento. I can definitely understand why one would leave private practice. It is a tough gig these days.

Ange - Where is our super stimmer? Still coming off the drugs?

HRH - What is going on?

Ah, Amy: oh no, i meant an IVF veteran! I see how that would have been confusing. On another forum where i used to post, they had a board just for "vets" (those who have done multiple cycles and are jaded ) and i still refer to myself by that name. yeah, the medical field is brutal out there. I am not really adding much to society by what i do right now... but it sure makes it easier to do IVF as i only work part-time and get to tell them when i am available. A good gig when you can get it! btw... congrats on the most recent addition to your "IVF fund"... you are getting quite the nice nest egg going there...

Just got my "confirmation" call. I take my trigger tonight at 3:00 am. We will be setting like four alarms so we don't miss it!

HELLOOOOOOOOOOO SISTAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I have been MIA!!!....Amy, I wish I was at the beach or at a party, unfortunately work has been crazy!!, how dare they give me so much work that I cannot even check my forum?????? ..........I think I need attorney general's intervention here....

Sassy.....congrats!!!, 13 follies sound great!!, good luck with your trigger tonight!!. I was also confused about the vet thing, when I read it I thought "wow, she studied medicine and vet??....that's a lot!!" .....so you are planning on having 10 farts per cycle?....mmmmm, that doesn't sound too glam  ...

Angie....woohooooo, EC is finally here!!!!, how did it go???????

HRH Fee.....glad the discharge is getting better, how dare she upsets our HRH!!!!!......

Wanna.......I am thrilled about our new twins here in the Sisterhood!!!!!!!, this is getting better and better!!!!!.....don't worry about the HB, not only it was early, but twins sometimes tend to be slower than singletons.......

Coco....happy suppression!!!!...

Patie....aawwwwwwwwww, I feel so bad for Missy and Fayssal, do you know what happened to them?...maybe they were too happy and they just couldn't take it....

Mego....how are things going over there?....

As for me, I started my BCP's finally, I am on CD-5, so we are getting there!!!!. On Monday I have a saline ultrasound that they will do to check out if there is any scarring or anything from my m/c that they might need to repair before the ET, hopefully everything will be ok  ......

Have a great weekend everybody!!

Hi girls - just a quick eggie update from me. They got 13 so am v pleased with that. Now, just like Sassy, we are hoping for 10 little farts from this cycle! :D

Feel pretty good - been asleep all afternoon - apparently I had to have lots of sleepy drug coz I kept kicking my legs! Just a bit sore now - like someone's punched me in the stomach.

Off to chill on the sofa and let DH look after me. Good luck for your EC Sassy . Look forward to your update tomorrow.

PS we also bought the house last night - talk about everything happening at once!

Angie!! Well done, 13 eggs is ideal, bloody fantastic and all done without the benefit of blue toenails. Now don't be tempting fate, please send DH out for a bottle of blue polish in time for ET... Will you be getting fert reports in the next few days??? Really looking forward to hearing how you go. And why not buy a house at the same time, pile on the pressure why don't you???. I like your idea of getting out of contracts when hopped up on IVF drugs. I think it is an offshoot of Meg's now famous IVF defence which can be used in a civil setting. Good work.

Ha ha ha Sassy I hope that your EC goes swimmingly and you get a 1000 farts for your efforts. Scary story about the not breathing thing, you are damned brave. If that had happned to me I would have stopped IVF for good and gone and stolen some child off one of Amy's students (hopefully with Amy's assistance). Good luck again, can't wait for your news.

Vicky the work ethic thing that seems to be going on in the US of A is a national disgrace, no-one should have to work so hard that they can't check in on their sisters. Are we living in the dark ages here, do you still have underage chimney sweeps in America? Good luck with your testing I hope your innards are good to go...

Patie, So sorry to hear about Missy. It is a loss felt by all of us. Glad to see you turning to comfort eating in your time of crisis, you are a girl after my own heart. I have just been lying on the sofa and polished off one bag of twisties (large) and one chocolate cornetto ice cream. Feel a bit sick now. I'm watching a dvd about smoking, can't remember the title but it is funny.

Amy I didn't know DH was an IT guy. Same as Mego's DH, sorry about all of us slagging IT guys off a few hundred posts ago (you may recall that Angie was shamelessy cracking onto her IT guy at work). I'm sure you and Mego are married to the hottest IT guys in the country. I'd keep em away from Angie though.

Amy and Coco, I'm not sure where the reference to the porn industry came from but I'm sure you would both do well in that line if that is your dream. My mate who is a journalist went onto a porn set and he was telling me about some of the behind the scenes jobs. One job going is that of a "fluffer". As I understand it a "fluffer" is a person who's job it is to make sure that the blokes are always ready for action so to speak. They work behind the scenes and don't appear on camera. Very important job great contribution to society.

Bloody hell my little brother is bugging me to get off the computer AGAIN. I nominate him for punter of the week for invading a sister's constitutional right to speak with her sisters.

Will do more personals when the little beast has gone.

G'Night to all!

A big WOOOHOOOO to Angie! Congrats on having EC over with. 13 is fab and i will be waiting to find out today how many farts (yes, this time i did that on purpose  ) you have. I am assuming they call you??? So ALSO a new house? Wow, you don't do anything half-a&&, do you? Will you be moving far? Do tell, i want the gory details. Hoping this am finds you relaxing and laying on the couch being waited on by dh. You deserve it!

Just as an a&&ide... although originally developed as a result of incompentent typing on my part... i have now decided to adopt the fert/fart substitution. I mean come on... all my ferts turn out to be nothing but farts anyway  . It also adds that "edge" (or is that just gutter humor parading as "edge" :?: ) the Sisterhood is known far and wide for. At the risk of being even more crass (ah, since when has that stopped me?), farts is a particularly appropriate word while on meds, or am i the only on that tends to have a bit too much gas floating around?

Fee: no, no underage chimney sweeps here... but as we are a d*mn third world country we apparently have indentured servitude. i haven't been scheduled for work much last few days as i originally was to have had my ER  . Dh is getting ready for this big trial... so when not at work, i have been at this office slaving away, and i do mean slaving away... last night until 11pm. Will be doing the same all day today. Asked dh yest how much i get for overtime  . He said... you get IVF! I took a piece of cardboard and wrote with a sharpie marker "Will work for IVF"

Vicky: d*mn your employer, clearly they have no concept of the uber importance of this forum! I am sure the AG can step in and clear this up for you. o/w as the underworld mover and shaker of the thread... i am sure you know a guy named vinny???

Hope the rest of you are fab. I am off to the RE. Going in for preop... the ONLY time i don't "undress from the waist down, please". It has become a compulsion now when in their office. Must.keep.clothes.on.

Woohoooooooooo Angieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, 13 eggies, that is fantastic!!!!!, when are you getting the fart report????? (yes, I incorporated our new sisterhood vocab  ). Also, big congrats on the new house!!!!......I am also looking to move, I actually found a great place, it was a condo, just built, very modern, near a canal, everything looked good, until they told me about their pet restrictions, apparently they don't accepts dogs over 40lbs, so I had to ask the Association wether they could do an exception for Sanson, and they said NO!!!!!....can you believe that!!, I guess they didn't know who Sanson is, he is the Sisterhood pet!!!!, how dare they turn him down!!....anyways, congrats on your house, let us know the details like Sassy said!!

Sassy....good luck with your EC!!!, please no respiratory arrests this time, that is not part of the sisterhood's book of a good EC, so don't go crazy there this time  . I hope you get a fab fart rate!!!!!!!!......ohh and BTW, Vinnie is ready, I called him already, but told him that I will let him know when to intervene, I wanted to give AG a chance first 8) ....

Fee....let me know if you need Vinnie to take care of your little brother, nobody should interfere with the sistas!!!!

Nothing new here..........the BCP's part of the cycle is boring, no needles or anything, actually it's been a while since I injected the last time, but they told me that when I start the PIO's before ET I will be doing them twice a day, so I guess I will have plenty of injections by then to make up for all the wasted time now........

Hi Ladies!

I wanted to drop a quick note although I am snowed in, again, and must set out for provisions soon.

Ange - Congratulations, Sister. Well done! 13 is a magic number.
Sass - Good Luck! Set those alarm bells. A trigger shot, that is better than Christmas eve. (Like Amy, I thought that you were a vet, too, and I was preparing some questions for you regarding canine glaucoma...anyway.) Count those farts, girl.

Everyone else, hugs. I will probably see you on Monday.

xo
