Hi girls!

Just wanted to pop in and let you know that ET went great today! We transfered back 2 beautiful 8-cell embies and we froze three. The whole experience was really neat getting to watch on the screen and know that those were my little ones coming back home!

Don't have time to do personals right now as I'm trying to stay in bed and be still so the embies can snuggle in good and strong! But Congrats to Kandice!!! and good luck to Bridget Jones tomorrow!!

Also wanted to say way to go Anna my ET buddy on transferring back three wonderful embies. I will test on the 25th one day before you so we can help each other through this next week.

I'm off to lay down and let DH pamper me!

Love you girls!

XO

Hi just thought i would pop in quickly. Congrats to kandice im so happy for you. BJ honey im sorry i hope you re coping ok.
As for me im starting to get quite anxious i just about managed NOT to buy a HPT. I have no idea if our treatment has worked im trying so hard not to think about it i can only say i have rather saw boobs that feel like they are going to burst i even had to change a top this morning as i felt they were going to rip through it, today i have also got an itchy rash come up on my arms not sure if that means anything! I only have 4 more days to go till i test ,my clinic do it by blood but if i can't resist doing a HPT when is best, i had FET on the 9/3 and they were thawed on the 7/3. Sorry im just having a mad day this is probaly my worst day so far im also worried as i didn't make it to my test last time as i started to bleed around this time. I fell like pulling my hair out at the moment!
Me 25 DH 30, TTC 5 years
1st ivf bleed before i could test
FET BFP!!!!

Hello Everyone,

AF arrived early so I will beginning my FBC (Frozen Blast Cycle). Best of luck to those who recently had ET. Hang in there during the 2WW.

I will start taking 4mg of Estrace and it looks like the transfer is in about 20 days from today, sometime in early to mid-April. Since we only have one, I feel it is a long shot. On the positive side, it only takes one.

Nicki - Glad to see you back in the board. The meds could be having an effect on you with making you have ups and downs. Just remind yourself that it is not forever and you will feel better soon.

Kandice - congrats on the first March IVF BFP!

Take Care.

Our ET went well today, 2 cute little blasts that were around 150 cells the embryologist said. My husband had fun putting scrubs on and was afraid the booties wouldn't fit his size 14 feet.
Can anyone explain why I'm taking estrogen now too in addition to the progesterone, I guess I should have asked the doc why. Is is to keep the lining good? I'm debating about how much time to take off work this week, my school has a lot of violence so I'm kind of apprehensive about going back too soon. Hope everyone is doing well, my test will be on the 26th!

Welcome CHVONNE! Congrats on bringing your wee little ones home. There are a bunch of us quite close in dates right now. I had ET on Friday and brought home a grade A 8-celled, 7-celled and grade B 6-celled embies...I am taking it easy these last couple of days and praying hard for all of us.

Steph and Yarnista, same goes to you guys too. I hope our little ones are starting to snuggle in.

For the rest of the 2ww'ers, not long for you guys to get your BFP's!!! Best of luck and sticky baby dust to you!

Everyone else going for scans, down regging, stimming and waiting for cycles to start....may we all find our joy at the end of this ride.

Anna :)

ET this week!

Post by karma_k »

HI ladies,
I had 3 embies transferred on Saturday  .
Yarnista, I'm taking estrace and progesterone as well...forgot to ask the Dr. why...at this point, I just take the meds and don't ask why because there's so much, I wouldn't remember anyway. I could look up the meds and find out though.

2ww is so hard. Just pray and try not to do anything too stressful.
DH is very supportive and helping a lot around the house. Now, I'm
researching the foods to avoid;
according to babycenter.com, it's best to avoid:
--fish such as: tuna, salmon, swordfish (because of mercury)
--raw foods of course
--uncooked deli meats, including hot dogs
--soft cheeses
--SOME herbal teas are known to induce labor or miscarriage (they have a list of herbs to avoid)
--they have a caffeine counter, but I plan to avoid it completely

Any other foods that really stand out that should be avioded?
