Ok ladies i tried really hard but gave in this morning and did HPT and OMG it was positive quite clear not faint!! Am i right in thinking i can't get a false positive as i didn't have a HCG jab. I called my clinic and told them, they said i was naughty but its right but come on wed to get my bloods done. I felt really negative this morning as i had a few af pains my gums have also been bleeding. IM SO SHOCKED

hi everyone! it's almost official! we had a small scare on friday night but I think everything is alright- I'm still going back to the lab today though. my hcg was 38 on friday- low but it was still an early test they said it was ok. come back monday. so I'm going back in a few minutes.
DH and I were "celebrating" because we hadn't " celebrated"

for a while- like mid January!- with how I was feeling- full of the follicles- and then his surgery and all -- and I bled a little bit, so of course I was very scared. but I did another HPT last night and it was a darker second line so I think everything's ok. (I'm going to take out stock in the HPTs!!) just nervous and I think I scared him away too. we had gotten the ok from the dr- it's 5 days after the ET and friday was 8 days, so should have been fine. I just bled that time- friday and then after I was fine, no more all weekend, so kinda dampened the whole weekend. I called my family on saturday but didn't want them to get excited so just told them that it was a low number and I have to go back on monday and monday will probably be official. so about 11:30 am today hopefully I have excellent news and they're growing and the HCG is going through the roof!

Bridget- I'm so sorry!

Mrs. B- just a couple more days- and yes, I'd say if you got a line- congrats! I'm still onthe borderline too- don't know if it's AF or pregnancy pains... very weird feeling, but my boobs still hurt, more so then any AF I've ever had!
Shantala and Katt- hold on- just a few more days for you too!!!

nerms- I might have missed a post- did you do your EC yet?

cookholmes- that's what I do too for my PIO shots- ice first and then lie down on the bed on my tummy. I'm ok with them- think I'll continue with the shots and not cream or anything- as long as DH can keep on giving them to me- he said he's fine with it.

jstrandlund- lol at your follies having a party! they'll be having a "rave" at the end then!

Hi ladies!!!

Been away for a weekend and it seems so much happens!

I'm not going to try and do too many personals as don't have much time now...

I have good news...it seems over the weekend my follies flourished!!!!!!!!!

We have nine follies 20-23mm and a further 6-7 near 17mm...considering on friday i had three nearly 17mm on friday..i'm just so pleased!!! I take my HCG tonight and EC is wednesday with ET on saturday of monday....i can't believe it!!!!

I'm just soooooo excited!

Mrs B....i can so understand the need to know...but it's great news...i pray it's a BFP all the way! Good luck for weds.

Kandice...don't worry...hopefully your giving blood as we speak and your numbers have doubled or more! Lots of PMA for you!

2WW's-hope you're all keeping sane somehow! Thinking of all of you! Shantala...not long to go sweetie! Steph...hang in there...think of your holiday...where are you going btw?

And stimmers..my fellow pin cushions..hope you're all doing great...grow follies grow! Good luck with your first scan nimble!

And our pregnant friends...Rae and Carbev....how are you girls doing?

nerms- I did my HCG in my belly same as my stims and didn't feel any different than normal- didn't hurt worse or anything... congrats! happy triggering!!

Wow, great news here today!!

Kandice, once more congratulations to you and DH! I'm sorry you had a scare like that but if you have to have bleeding during your first trimester, that's the most "normal" time to have it so I'm sure all's well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you as you're having your second beta done - hopefully it'll be a nice strong number. Hugs!!

Mrs B, that sounds fantastic. A positive is a positive, albeit early!!! But of course it's better to be safe and wait until the "official" test day+results before starting the party. I'm still dancing a little bit

Nerms - that's just the news I was hoping to hear from you today!!! That's wonderful hon! Don't worry about the HCG shot - I don't have experience with the other pin cushion stuff but that one I'm very familiar with and it doesn't hurt a bit if you do it in the tummy.

Amanda, the best of luck with your EC and ET!!!

BJ, I was so sorry to hear about the HPTs in the other thread. My heart goes out to you - but at the same time I'm still hoping those tests were just plain wrong and the BW would bring wonderful news. Hang in there sweetie...

Thank you guys for asking, all's well here. At least physically it is - I'm still a train wreck with my fears etc, esp. now that I feel SO good that I definitely don't feel pregnant anymore. But hopefully all is well. In exactly a week I'd be at the 12 week mark and another six days would take me past my last m/c.... I have a scan next week and am of course waiting for that impatiently.

Big Hello to everyone else and will do more personals later.

DH took me to the Lake District and boy was it nice to get away, the weather wasn’t to bad a little cold but I had DH to snuggle up to so all was well. Really chilled out with long walks and lots of pampering by DH. Think I have eat enough this weekend to last me the rest of the month.

Only just got home and I’m straight on here, DH recons I was having withdrawal symptoms all weekend, as there was no inter-net in the hotel.

Had my follie scan on Friday which put a little downer on the day as my follies hadn’t grown very much at all, the biggest was only 9mm. The Dr didn’t want to increase my puregon dose due to a previous case of OHSS. So on I went with my low dose, to return today for another follie scan, and it turn’s out that my follies still haven’t grown much at all.

The biggest is now 11mm, but I do have 13 that are 9mm. My lining is coming along lovely but my follies just wont grow

My does has been doubled now with a follie scan check booked for Friday, but EC may be slipping to right by a few days.

Hope these stubborn little follies will start to behave and grow this week.

I’m going to have to love and leave you all now, will catch up on what’s been happening tonight.

Hi everyone, I'm typing this in a state of shock as despite everyone warning me to keep away from the HPT's and to wait for the blood test, you all know what I did...well today's blood test at the hosptial has shown a BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will post a new thread about the dangers of the HPT as I really put myself through it over the last couple of days and could have easily resorted to drink,,,chocolate etc etc, but something kept me hoping.

The nurse gave me the results today over the phone, but has said that they need to send the blood away for a quantitative pregnancy test- can anybody tell me what this means please?
I know we get the results of this tomorrow, but we're not sure whether we can be happy now or not?
I'll post this message on all of my threads as am desperate for an answer to this-

just got the call numbers on friday- 8dpt5dt= 38 and today 11dpt5dt= 74

I need to go back for a 3rd beta on thursday. Really hope these buggers implanted correctly! but they're still going up! good sign- right?
