OHSS DURING 2WW PANICKING

HIYA I HAD MY EGG TRANSFER ON SATURDAY AND IVE NOW GOT OHSS IM BLOATED AND HAVE GOT SHORTNESS OF BREATH I BELIVE IVE ONLY GOT IT MILDLY AS HAD CHECK UP TODAY AT CLINIC ADVISED TO DRINK LOADS OF WATER AND PLENTY OF PROTEIN I LOOK FOUR MONTHS PREGNANT MY TUMMYS SO SWOLLEN THIS IS MY FIRST IVF AND IM SO WORRIED THAT IF I AM PREGNANT THIS COULD EFFECT IT ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PLEASE HELP!!!

I was huge and sore. Have you told your doctor?

First - Call your Doctor.

Second - from what i understand, OHSS can get worse because of pregnancy. I don't think it will effect it in a negative way. This could be a good sign, just drink lots of fluid and do whatever else the doctor says.

yes had check up in clinic today they also said lots of water and it could get worse if im pregnant so im praying it does !!

drank 3 litres of water today and im going to do that everyday.

Totally understand and mine lasted until I was 7 weeks PG!!! I didn't realize it wasn't normal at first because it was my first IVF but being PG just made mine take a little longer to go away.

It is uncomfortable but as long as it is managed and watched carefully don't let it worry you too much. Easier said than done of course but I'll be thinking of ya and praying for a BFP!!!

hiya my ohss is alot better now i was advised to drink 3 litres of water a day after two days of doing this the bloating went down still got slight shortness of breath but now im worrying i wont get a positive as i was told ohss gets worse if your pregnant and mines got better im glad i feel better but nowe im worrying so much i was going to ring my clinic and ask if this is a bad sign but feel silly ?

Try not to worry, as worry & stress can cause negative results, try to chill and ride the coaster, steady!! Easier said than done i know!! But trust your Dr and good luck for test day!! xxx
