Court: I am so sorry this is happening. Hopefully the low does HCG will work. Did you ask the DR to call you? You should post this question in the general section and see what everyone else says. I know one of the girls in the March thread jstranland is having the same problem. Maybe they will have more answers. I will pray that you still have your er. If so what time? I will be in the clinic on Friday at 7:30am.

Ashley: What time is yours?
CKL: So glad you are feeling better. This is out of your hands now. Keep the faith!
Mary: OOOO I love vegas!!!

Take Care all

Court ~ We just spoke and I hope you can get some rest tonight and remember that these numbers change daily in this process. I hate for you to spend the whole night stressing and then tomorrow it's fine again! That's happens all the time. I know it's easy for someone to say that and hard for you actyually to do, but hang in there!!! I am praying for you tonight!

Sonya~ So you've starting stimming!! Welcome to the emotional rollercoaster ride
Court told me that you wanted to meet at Starbucks in the a.m. after our appts. and that sounds good. I have acu at 10am, but it's not too far away. I can meet you guys until I have to go to that appt. Looking forward to it!

Saralee ~ how are you?

Mary ~ Girls trip to Vegas sounds like just what the doctor ordered!

As for me, I will trigger tonight and have ER on Thursday morning 11:15.
I am excited to get it done...but, not as many follicles as we'd hoped for this time. We have 6 really good ones, 2 possibles, and 3 maybes (but doubt it). I hope I get a good suprise and some follicles have more than one egg! It's weird knowing I won't do a transfer...somewhat of a let down, but at least I don't have to do those awful Prog shots just yet !! (trying to look at the bright side).

See you girls in the a.m.!!

Ashley thanks for asking, i am doing fine I suppose. I am fighting to stay positive but i guess at this point there is not much that I can do! I suppose that so many BFN's can make a girl begin to believe that BFP's are a myth! The shots i have to say have not been as bad as I expected...i mean, I am That is great about your ER but what did I miss? Why are you not doing a ET?

That is great that you are all getting together tomorrow...watch your caffeine though ladies...no double esspressos! oh boy..i am sounding like my husband!

Saralee...where are you?

Courtney i wish you all the best tomorrow. I agree that these numbers change so quickly...just hang tight and try not to stress about the unknown...not that easy to do I KNOW!

take care girls...good luck to all of you tomorrow...let us know how it goes.

CKL~ I learned from my past cycle that I get too toxic (I take a lot of meds with no suppression...slow responder) and, therefore, implantation can not occur. At least that is the RE theory. I hope he's correct!
I am freezing everything this time and doing a FET probably in June time frame after my body has time to get back to "normal" (whatever that is!).
So, I'm praying for blasts good enough to freeze.
Luckily, REACH's FET stats are excellent. I know stats are only as good as the person...but, it makes me feel a little better.

Night!

Hi Ladies,

Ashley, I'm wishing you blasts good enough to freeze. I can barely wait to hear your results!

ckl, I am glad the shots aren't treating you too bad. I am very afraid of them! The 2ww has to be the most challenging aspect of this journey. You'll get through it and we'll be here to support you. Sending you lots and lots of positive vibes.

Sonya, I've lost track. Where are you in your journey? I realize you're meeting up with the ladies at Starbucks so you must be going into REACH.

Courtney, I don't have any words of wisdom for you. Did you post on the main board? Lots of experience there. I hope you get answers to your questions. I'm sorry you even have to go through this. Try not to lose faith, not now. It ain't over.

Mary, again, welcome! Sorry I screwed up your name before. You know, I've been to Nevada multiple times but never to Vegas! Crazy, right? I actually wanted to get married in Vegas but DH had other plans ... that included family. Sounds like a great plan you have.

As for me, Dr. Whelan put a note in the mail to me about my lack of immunity to the chicken pox and quoting his letter he states, "I would recommend that you have an updated vaccine to the varicella virus prior to making plans for fertility treatment ..." BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. He also notes that I can have the vaccine done at the health department or by my primary physician despite the fact that I already advised them that neither the health department or my primary physician administers that vaccine. But alas, the letter said recommend not require. When we go for our consult March 28 I will happily remind him of his exact wording and pray no one puts up a fight. I have yet to find anyone who will administer the vaccine to an adult and I'm not going to look any further.

That's it on my end. I'm working hard not to obsess. The boys are keeping me busy. The weather is lovely.

Sendign all of you wonderful ladies baby dust and positive vibes. It excites me to read eveyone's progress. Thanks for allowing me to enjoy the journey with you.

Sincerely,

Hey Girls

Sorry we missed you today Ashley! How did trigger go?

Saralee: I am doing my stimming hopefully egg retrevial will be next week! Interesting on the vaccine! What do you think you are going to do?

CKL: I soooo agree with you on the myth of BFP. I feel the same way however I know someone who got BFP on the 1st try with reach!

Shots are going good although I am feeling a little shakey. Anyone else have these smyptoms? I am assuming it is just a side effect.

So we have 2 retrevials this week!!! How exciting!
Love to all

Sonya - sorry to have missed you as well! I did not get your vmail until this morning!! I would have called you back yesterday...sorry
My appt lasted longer than i had anticipated this morning. Lots of girls are doing retrievals on Thursday, so the line is a long one! I hope the doc isn't too tired by the time he gets to me!!!
The shots can make you feel funky - I've never been "shaky" but have been dizzy and horrible headaches and nausea...sometimes it passes as your body adjusts. Keep us up to date on your progress!

Court - sorry i had to go earlier, still tying up loose ends from work so I can take the next 2 days off! I hope your appt goes well tomorrow and I'm so glad your numbers are back up! Yea!!! :D

Saralee
- good luck on your appt on the 28th ~I hope they let you proceed. I'm glad you noticed the "recommend" vs. "require" - good catch! Thanks for all your support!!!

Hanging in there CKL!!???

I'll let you girls know the results once the Vicodin wears off  ~!
If it's bad news...I plan to take Vicodin all day!!!!

XOXO,

Hello Ladies,
Sonya - Thanks. The last time I was in Vegas was for a conference, so I couldn't have too much fun!

AEG - Our appointment with Dr. Mezzer's office was today. It went well. Nothing out of the ordinary. I've been through all this before. I know what you mean about feeling like a pin cushion. I cannot take the injections in the stomach though. I start giggling when I pull up my skin (or DH pulls up my skin), so he can't give me the injection. I really try to stop but I can't. I think part of it is nerves, the other part is that it tickles.

CKL - How are you doing? Since I probably won't get started for a while, I have a few drinks for you in Vegas. I haven't had anything to drink since early last year!

Courtney - I've never been cancelled for my E2 level. I'm sorry this has happend to you. I know how it feels. In all last year, I had IVF cycles cancelled 4 times - 2 due to cycsts and 2 due to high FSH levels. It's a real bummer - sorry!

Saralee - We got married in the Cayman Islands, but I have a friend who was married in Vegas. Good-luck with the "chicken pox" thing. I just asked my Mother tonight if I ever had the chicken pox. She said when I was a baby, but she has a bad memory so I don't know if I should believe her or not. There were 5 of us, so I'm not if she's getting us mixed up or not.

Good-luck to anyone having a procedure this week. I'm still trying to get everyone straight & getting to know all of you, so I'm sorry if I left anyone out.

Got to go!

Hey Ladies, thanks for all the well wishes. i have to say i am not feeling so hot. i have been really crampy which is making me pretty doubtful about this go around. i am pretty dissapointed...It is just such a mystery why it works for some and not for others. I have never been good with playing the odds, and i am pretty sure that this is another one of these times. I am essentially preparing myself for the usual let down...

Courtney did your E2 level get back up there? that is great....all the best for you.

Ashley good luck today! enjoy the Vicaden and keep us posted.

Sonya, i was told to keep hydrated really well, that could be causing your shakes. i drank gatorade like crazy and i did quite well with the shots after that. Do you have any updates on your follie counts yet?

Mary...please have many drinks for me!

Take care everyone...

Hello girlies!!! Okay ....Ashley should be in ER right now....Sending angels her way!

CKL ...DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!! When I got pg (through IUI) I was 200% positive that I was out due to the AF type cramping ... but I got those two lines! So many girls think it's over when that cramping starts. Please hang in there, and rest assured that this can me a good sign!!!

.....Well..... yesterday was a pretty exciting day! My E2 skyrocketed to almost 1000, so everything is a go for ER tomorrow (Friday) at 9:30 AM. I feel as though I am harboring a small country in each ovary and I've had the get out the rubber-bands to keeps the jeans closed! As of yesterday (Wed.) morning, I had about 18 follies, but only 7 of them were mature. I am hoping that a few more will be ripe by the time of ER.... but I'm not banking on it.

Saralee ...If it's not required, rather only "recommended" ...I say go with your 'gut' ....I think it would be a long long far and away snowball's chance ..... that you would come down with the pox while pg ... but IF you did, it may not be a good thing. Then again ..... You luck is probably much better than mine. I could come down with malria if someone in Africa merely spoke my name.

Also ... I saw Dr. Wing this morning. I was a little hesitant to see him this close to ER, because I just haven't spent the time with him that I have all the others ..... But I thought he was AMAZING!!! ...A true pioneer in his field.
Wheelan is doing my ER tomorrow, and the one time that I met him, I really liked him, so I'm totally okay with that (plus .... I think he's cute!).... BUT....Sonya informed me this morning that they call Dr. Whitesides the "Golden Retriever"
My Dr. (Teaff) is out of town all next week (during transfer time, of course, .......I always fall on bad luck) So I am MAJORLY BUMMED OUT about that, especially since I was told that your personal RE almost always does your transfer!! But hey ...The lady deserves a vacation. I just wish it was the following week!!!!!!!!!!

** Jane ...Welcome! It seems as though you have climbed several mountains in this journey, and I am sure that I can learn a lot from you!!!

Okay ...that about covers this update!
Praying that all is well with each of you

Much Love ...
XOXOXO

Courtney thanks for the reassuring advice...that is really good to hear that you had experienced the same thing and got a BFP. I really have to work hard to stay positive (about many things in my life!), i am not sure why I am that way....just a negative nancy I guess. I am really happy for you...Dr.Whenlan did my retrieval as welll and I really really like him. He is cute, I agree. That does suck that Dr.Teaff is not going to be there for you next week, but they are all very skilled so i don't think that you have anything to worry about. I do know how you feel though because there was a slight chance that she was going to have to miss mine as well and I was bummed.

Well i hope that i can be there for all of you as well through your 2ww coming up....'cause this sucks!!!!!!!

Should we all start sending anonymous fan club letters to Dr. Whelan? If so, count me in! He IS cute but he better not make me angry when I tell him to heck with the chicken pox vaccine!

I am psyched ... can't wait for Ashley to fill us in! Wonder what kind of posts one can get out while ampped up on Vicodin.

Courtney, hip hip hooray!!!!! With an a jump in an E2 level like that your luck is certainly changing. I am very happy for you. Go Courtney! Go Courtney! Now just keep talking to follies and tell them to get with the program.

Hugs to you all,

saralee
