Is anyone elses belly really enlarged?
I had 3 embies transferred 3 days ago and my tummy
is pretty big and a bit sore.
And, does anyone have any tips for making the intramuscular
progestone injections less painful ...probably not.

Hi Karma K,

I can't help you with the progesterone shots as I used the vaginal pessaries (YUK) but on the bloated belly, I also had a very swollen tummy. I didn't realise it at the time (as it wasn't too painful, just uncomfortable) that I had mild hyperstim. Take it as a possible positive sign as I went on to get my BFP and I'n now 24 weeks with twins!

Sorry can't help you with the progesterone shots. I am on the vaginal pessaries also. I second Xrayen's....YUCK!!

But I did have the swollen belly after the transfer. As a matter of fact I still have it. I'm 6 weeks pregnant with twins and I look like I'm about 4 or 5 months pregnant. I had the RE look to see if I had fluid in my belly (due to hyperstimulation) but I did not. Also, my ovaries are back down to normal size. So I'm not really sure why I have a pudgy belly right now. I wonder if it's a side effect of the meds.

Ok, thanks ladies.
I will just be happy with my big ol belly and hope it's a positive sign!
It's reassuring. My blood test is in 2 days!
