Sassy--It sounds like a month (or hey, maybe even two!) off might be the best thing for you. I'd say a regroup is in order. And didn't we have a rule about not worrying about being "snarky"? We like snarky! No worries! Sounds like the trial is going to be really exciting...I'm hoping for a victory! And a sisterhood vaca sounds great...

Wanna--Yeah! I'm so glad that everything went well this morning! Isn't seeing the hb the craziest? Just the idea that there is another heart beating inside of me blows me away everytime I think about it! I think, that in honor of us, you should consider naming your twins "Blue" and Stilletto". Or "Blue" and "Shoe". Or "Sister" and "Hood". Or you get the idea...

Happy Birthday Angie!!!!

Sassy- you have every right to be frustrated and upset. I'm sorry it's not going the way you want it to. Take time off if you need it. You are braver than I . I told my Dr. I wanted to wait until the new year to try again after octobers BFN, but here we are in March, and I'm thinking I'll be ready in June!! I have a fear of failure what can I say?

Wanna- Soooo happy for you! It must seem real now that you have heard heartbeats! Congrats!

Amy- I LOVE DMB! I just saw them this past summer for the 3rd time! It was an outdoor concert. Have fun!!!!

My new hairdo went well. Color and cut, I look Fabulous if I do say so myself!

I substituted for a 2nd grade class today and they gave me a run for my money so I am exhausted. Gotta go cook dinner and go to the gym. I am trying to lose weight. I want to look good in June when I am reunited with that wildcat of a dildocam!!!

Later!

Hi ladies!!!, I wrote this post twice already, well, not the same one, but I started writing twice in the past 2 days and everytime I do my DH comes back from work and begs me to get out of the computer and go with him.......so here I am at work, where DH cannot see that I am writing in what he calls "my addiction" ........

Wanna.........congrats on those heartbeats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, that is sooooooooo fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I hope you are feeling better

Ange.......happy belated birthday!!!... (but as Sass said, what counts is the intention  ), were you able to escape the alcohol questions???. How is the house going?, did you close already?....

Jenn.....looks like you are doing everything I should be doing but I am not, meaning, getting your hair done, going to the gym, losing weight...oh well, some day I will get to it  .......send me some good vibes so I can do it too!!!

Meg.....so how is that second trimester treating you??....is it behaving any better??

Sassy......so you didn't have your sushi and diet coke night? (well maybe the 2 diet pepsi's can count as diet coke, not as good though  ). We are still fighting for Sanson's rights, believe it or not we sent an email to the developer trying to see if they can do some kind of exception, since they accept upto 2 40lbs dogs per apartment, but they cannot accept Sanson???...c'mon! what's the difference?.....so will see if we can finally get my dreamed new apartment!! And about your trip, if you let me know when is it, maybe I will be in Argentina for vacations and you can go down there too, there are a lot of beautiful places to see there, like the Perito Moreno Glaciar, etc etc...

Fee....where are you???....

About me, I had my saline ultrasound done on Monday, everything was ok until my RE says "look, I want to show you something"...that is when I go "uh oh... ), apparently I might have a very small septum in my uterus, which might have been missed when I had the HSG done last year before starting this rollercoaster (a septum is a remainder from the embryologic development of the uterus, which is like a wall in the middle of it, it can be tiny and not bother or be so big that it creates 2 chambers in the uterus). Basically he had me go to the hospital to get the films from when I had the HSG done to compare it and see if I really have the septum or not and how big is it (apparently it is very small). If I do have it that might, but only might, have been the cause of my m/c :( ....in a way I am happy that they might have found something to blame that we can actually treat, but on the other hand, I am not sure I like the idea of having another procedure to have it removed...............anyway, it is too early to say anything, I dropped my films from the HSG at the RE's office this morning, so will see what he says..............

Vicky--Wow, it will be interesting to see if that was there before or not. Weird that they didn't notice it before if it was there! That saline test was no fun. Sorry you had to go through it again!

I just got back from my first visit with my OB. And I'm outraged because I had to have a pap done. The nerve! You'd think after all the poking and prodding of the last 6 months, I could be spared the indignity of the pap. Oh well. I suppose it really wasnt that bad, but it's just the thought. The good thing was that I got to hear the hb again--always fun! And, according to her calculations I'm actually 14 weeks and 3 days! That's exciting.

Hope everyone is having a good day--I'm going back to bed!

Hi Sistas, sorry to be MIA - still lots to do and work and finishing up today for a weekend away with some friends - will be very relaxing - looking forward to doing very little.

Thanks all for my birthday wishes - I had a nice day. You will probably think I am mad but I ordered a glass of wine - I couldn't cope with any questions or looks - and then just sat on it and had a couple of tiny sips. It was one of those big fish bowl glasses that you couldn't really see how much was in - figured a couple of sips is hardly going make a difference.

Sassy - have you decided what to do? I think it break will be good for you - a month here or there will not make much difference. Time is marching on for all of us, but if you are 38 like me you wish you were 35, if you are 35 then you wish you are 32 and so on and so on. Come to OZ and say g-day . :D

Well I'm very crampy from progesterone - feels like AF on way but it can't be that early as only 3dp2dt so it must be the drugs. 1st week will be ok but watch out for me next week - I am sure to be crazy then!

Have a great w/e girls.

Patie--Pap is a pap smear. You know, where they test for cervical cancer by taking a scraping from your cervix? It's really not that big of a deal, I just wasn't expecting it so I wasn't prepared mentally! Plus, it was weird having my dh sitting there in the room with me....guess I'd better get used to that!

That's so exciting that your trip is coming so soon. I'm jealous---I could definitely use a vacation. Hope that lazy head gets your dress done so you don't have too much stress!

Hey girls....

Not much to add today... i am in a bit of a funk, i do believe. Considering not starting BCPs when AF arrives next wk... just to have one entire month off all meds. By doing that, though, i would risk not being able to cycle in May since my AF is irregular. Do i care?? don't know. Not sure yet what i will do, but it is clear to me that i need a break at some point. Dh trial still in full swing, meaning long nights. It is a good distraction for me right now... just VERY busy. As a result, besides just telling him our sucky results, we haven't actually discussed what we want to do... although i did tell him i was thinking of not cycling next month. I just got word here at work (as i was typing to you guys... i mean, as i was working feaverishly  ) that i can leave early (i was scheduled until noon, but will be off in about 15 min, so i can catch the morning court session... yipee!).

Anyway, sorry i haven't been very supportive. I feel so lucky to have a great group of gals to hang with, but when i get on this thread i start tearing up... not good when i am at work or working on the trial in the evenings. So i check up on you guys but i am always concerned i am going to start a gusher if i write much. My lack of posting is not a result of my lack of affection for you all. Lordy, this sucks. But never fear, fellow sisters, Sassy will be "back in black" soon enough.

Thinking of all of you...

Miss "rotten egg" Sassy, apparently married to Mr. "clueless sperm" Sassy. quite a pair, no?
