NOVEMBER 07 BABIES "gobble, gobble"

wannababyIVF- I saw the heart fluttering, and also I see like 2 things, almost connected, in side the amnionic sac. One is the yolk sac the other the baby. But it is bigger than I thought. It was a good feeling to see it. I am 7 weeks today per u/s. So I just have 5 more weeks until 12, and then I can really relax. You still walk on tip toes. Because there are what ifs. But I hope things continue good. It is cool we are only a day apart. I can't wait until the next scans.

WISCONSINGAL- I know, I am hoping you get some good news, I have been praying everyday for you. Funny how close & emotional you feel to someone you never met. Please let me know. Take care of yourself and that baby, now our due dates will probably really close.

Wanna You will feel alot better when you get to OB and really get to see those babies. It is great!!!

Wisconsingal Hun you have been through alot, and I am praying for your next scan to be a wonderful one with a big healthy baby!!!!

JenhopeCongratulations, on seeing the heartbeat feels good doesn't it. As of sat I will be 8 weeks and Only have 4 weeks to go til the big 12. Cannot wait til then so I can actually enjoy being pregnant!!!

CarbevHunI am so sorry that you are so sick, I had hyperemesis with my last preg and it was horrible I was told teh best thing to do is when you puke put something back in. even if you don't think you can and drink lots and lots of water so you don't get dehydrated!! I hope you get to feeling better soon!!!!

gdph630 I can tell you now there is not a woman on any of these forums that is preg that is or was not an absolute nervous wreck before that first scan!!! It is a relief afterward because it is reassurance that there is a baby in there. Now don't get me wrong all the worry is not gone, I am waiting on my second scan now for tues. and I am just as nervous as I was on the first one. Counting down the days. I don't know if that ever goes away. i would think that it eventually turns to excitement more than worry after the 12 week mark. Lets hope so anyway!! Good Luck on Monday We will be waiting for your post!!

As for me, I am in a fix, I started to have these steady cramps night before last and they have not stopped, not bend over bad but "here comes AF" cramps I called Re he said to try tylenol and as long as no blood it should be ok. Um did not make me feel better

Anyway I did that last night and nothing is helping, so called back today and I am supposed to go to OB 2 morrow eve for an U/S, just to check if everything is ok. I am a little worried cause this is not normal. Is anyone else having or have had this constant cramp in lower ab?
I will let you all know how it goes tomorrow, hopefully everything ok!!!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry but this is just going to be a quick update again, DH wants me to rest completly and not move but I just wanted to let you know what is going on!
Well went for our scan today and although it is very early we were able to see the two sacs!!!! Yes two!!!! at the moment it is looking like twins for us!

I can't believe it and think I am still in shock

but so happy that things are still looking ok for us at the moment.
I truely believed it was all over for us and now we have been told that there are two there, it is just amazing!
My hcg yesterday was 14,000 so they were very pleased with that and said everything is fine!
I have to wait till April 16th for our next scan and I just don't know how I will wait that long, I just want to see them everyday to see that they are ok!!
I am so sorry for not doing any personals as you have all welcomed me so nicely but I promise I will come and do some next week when I manage to get DH to leave my side! HaHa
I hope that you are all well and that things are running smoothly for you all, Take care of yourselves and your precious babies!

Cheeky That is wonderful!!! You take it easy and enjoy!! I know about the wait it is horrible.

Mom...My next scan is 3/23. Thanks for being so excited for me. I'm sure the cramps are concerning to you. Geez, it is so hard to relax and enjoy all this. I think so much of it has to do with everything we've all done to get to this point, we are so afraid of every owie, cramp, pinch, pang. Please let us know what the dr. says tomorrow. Good news is you're not bleeding, maybe just your wee one getting even more comfortable in it's new home.

Gdph...I was more nervous for my first scan than any other appt. I had the entire cycle. I think it's totally normal to stress each step of the way in this process.

Caroline..So sorry you are not feeling well. When did it start? Must be hard to take care of Will when you are feeling so sick. Poor thing.

Wanna...I think I have to give in and go shopping this weekend. I literally sat in my office today with my pants opened after going out to lunch for a friend's bday. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and my stomach was huge! There was no sucking it in or hiding it. So there I hid myself in my office and let it all hang out. My boobs actually hurt much less now. Should I be worried? They are sore, but not as sore. They are big though.

Teen..yay, another twin mama. I'm still not believing I have 2 in there.

Jenhope...so glad your scan went will and you go to see the heartbeat. Isn't that amazing they way it flutters! Sorry you are feeling crappy. I am also in my 7th week, actually 7w4d, but who's counting. I was originally due 11/5, but with twins now, I think my due date is 10/15.

Cheeky...Twins! Yahoo! We really do have a lot of twins on this thread. Do I remember reading you had only 1 blast put back, so did it divide? How awesome is that! Glad DH is taking care of you.

As for me, still feeling pretty good. The occassional wave of nauseau primarily happens if I let myself get too hungry. Really tired by the end of the day, but aside from that, not a whole lot. I keep waiting to wake up one day and feel completely leveled, but it hasn't happened yet. Do you think I would've felt sick already or could I be one of the few who escaped m/s for the most part? Starting my 8th week next week and like the rest of us anxiously await that infamous 12 week mark.

Hope all of you who aren't feeling well, start feeling well real soon. Those who feel good, continue feeling good.

I feel truly blessed to have all you ladies to converse with over the next 8 months.

Can't stay long. I will come back and do personals later.

But Ange--wanted to tell you that I went shopping last night. Had to get some maternity jeans. None of mine fit comfortably. I can get away with dress pants but the jean materal was to hard. So I just sucked it up and purchased some maternity jeans from Old Navy. Now they aren't as cute and sexy as I'm use to (DH is happy about that), but they are so comfortable. I love them! I have plenty of sweats to hold me over for the weekend. I guess work clothes are next.

Also, my symptoms seem to come and go which scares me a little. One minute I feel fine and then the next I feel like I want to vomit. I am starting to feel that way more often. There is nothing that I want to eat. I had my first craving last night. I wanted a gyro so bad. DH and I drove around to about 6 different places and couldn't find one. I was so disappointed. So I found one today for lunch and I must say....IT WAS THE WORST! It sucks when you have your mouth ready for something and it isn't good. But it's 10 times worse when you are pregnant and craving something and it's not good.

Now smells are making me a little nauseous. Anyone else suffering with this?

Ok, this is longer than I wanted it to be. Time to get back to work. I'll chat with you ladies later.

I had my first ultrasound today and everything looks great!!!

I'm due November 22nd. I'm so needing some buddies to get me through this. I'm so scared of miscarrying again. Next ultrasound is April 2nd to see if we see a heartbeat. Gosh, can't wait!!!

wannababyIVF- I am so glad that I am not the only one looking at maternity clothes already. They are so comfortable. Regular clothes are like so tight, unless I go up to the + sizes. I thought I was dumb for doing it so early, and that I was rushing it. But now I feel better. I think I rather be comfortable, than not. But You are having twins, so maybe I don't feel better. But I guess I do. So you must be a little bigger than me. Are you showing already? I am just curious, I feel like my stomach is the size of a basket ball, but I think because everything is shifting upwards.

Anyone else feel like that?

whoohoo we r very happy and hoping we make it all the way to the end with this one

i have had 2 scares already

have been bleeding with clots for a week on and off but have had 2 blood test which both have came back postive and my levels are where they should be,bleeding has stopped now it has been four days now and i am praying i have seen the last of it.my first scan is on the 2nd April,am sure i will feel more relieved once i see my little bub's heart beat.

HI Momtojazzie--Nice to see you on this side. Congrats again on your BFP and your wedding.

jenhope--Yes I am showing already. I had a little tummy to begin with but now it's just taken more of a basketball shape. Also, DH said boobies are getting bigger. I can't tell. They are just really heavy to me.

I did get some maternity jeans from Old Navy. They are so comfortable. I think maternity clothes and a better choice than the plus sizes. Because you can wear maternity clothes throughout the pregnancy (that God for elastic). Where as the plus sizes might look a little big and sloopy. Just purchase a few maternity clothes and see how you like them and how they fit. Hey, dont feel silly for buying them so early. You need to be careful. Also, no one will know except for you.

As for me. I feel like crap!! Have not been able to eat. Everything makes me sick. Been throwing up and all I want to do is sleep. I'm not sure who asked for the nauseous and Morning (ALL DAY) sickness but becareful what you wish for. This is the worst! DH and I went out to dinner to one my favorite restaurants and we have to leave early because right after my appetizer and two bites of my main course I was hugging the toilet. It was so horrible. I came home and slept from 9pm until 9am the next day. Today feel like crap again. Been sleeping most of the day.

Hope you guys are feeling ok. I'll check on you ladies later. Going to try to eat something now.

Welcome Rebecca and Debbie and Congratulations! This thread is a great place to be! Debbie...I hope your scares are over and you have a smooth pregnancy.

Wanna...sorry you are not feeling well and guess what? Me neither! UGH, I have felt nauseaus on and off (mostly on) for the last 2 days. Eat because I have to, feel better temporarily, but then feel horrible again. I also feel tired. I'm hoping that going back to work tomorrow will be a good distraction. I gave in today and bought a few pairs of maternity pants at the GAP. I'm definitely not fighting with my wardrobe this week. Everything is tight and uncomfortable.

Does anybody else's stomach blow up to humongous proportions after eating. I feel like I look 6 months pregnant!

Had my second u/s on Friday, Dr. says all looks good. The babies are exactly the same size and the size they should be. I can even see the growth on the pics he gave me from last week to this week. I have another appt. next Friday.

How is everyone else, it's been a quiet weekend here. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi wannababyIVF - so sorry to hear you are so bad. I hope this doesn't last too long for you. Keep trying different drinks and nibbles until you find something that helps. What a shame your hot date was ruined, but you'll be able to do it again properly when this phase is over.

We had our first scan on Saturday and saw the sack, fetal pole, yolk and most importantly, the heartbeat! So fantastic to see that and get our due date which is 11th November. Still, we've got 5 more weeks until we can be a bit more hopeful of our little beanie sticking around for good. Still feeling nauseous all day long and very bloated. Three more weeks to our next appointment, so the wait is back on again!!

Am wondering if this all works out whether it will be another c-section for me. It will be 15 months after the first, which I think is quite close. I really don't like the idea of anything splitting in labour - sounds way too dangerous to me. On the other hand, I wouldn't like the recovery time of a c-section- especially with a toddler to look after. DH is not entitled to any paternity leave (except for the day of birth) so I'm hoping my MIL will come out and stay for a long while - she stayed for a month after Will was born and I don't know how I would have done it without her! Any thoughts you guys?

Hi ladies sorry I haven't been on here, DH and I having a rough patch, we are separated right now and I don't have full access to a computer as I did before, so I will just have to stop in when I can.
The ultrasound was fine OB said baby was just where it was supposed to be at 7wks6days then. I am now 8wks2days, I go back to RE and have sono with them tomorrow, I can't wait for that one because it is 4d and I will get to hear heartbeat again!! THis will be the last one with them and I hope it is a good one!!
I want to say WELCOME to all the newbies and I will add you to the list!!
Wanna I am sorry that you are having so much M/S bless your heart I hope it gets better, I have just had a few waves of nausea now and then. They say that twins make you sicker, double the hormones. The thing that is getting me is the BELLY I cannot wear any of my clothes I am going to have to get some maternity clothes!!! and I only have one baby!!!
