Nicki - how are you? Was worried about you yesterday. So glad that your hole is fixed atleast thats one problem out of the way. No, we haven't managed to meet up yet, planned hopefully for weekend after next.

Jill - oh so understand how you are feeling with yr follies and know no matter what, it is still disappointing on your first scan. However, they do grow, abliet eventually, but they will get there!! It just amazes me, how they (Drs ) know what do, when we are all so different and respond so differently too. good luck tomorrow - will be thinking of you.

Sonya how are you hun, whey first scan tomorrow - ooohh - lets hope yr follies are behaving themselves - it seems the rest of ours aren't How was DH was it nice to have him home.

hopefully last scan for me tomorrow, trigger on sat and EC monday - excited but nervous.

Ok question - has anyone else's DH been asked to "clean the pipes" before EC - if so, what sort of time frame before EC should it be done??

the other thing that is going around in my head is that we are due to have ICSI and not because of male problems, purely because my DR thought that the reason we didn't get many fert last time, was that the shell of my egg may have been too hard. I wonder if it is because I stimmed a lot longer and worry about the success rates of ICSI vs normal - based on the fact that I have a max of 6 eggs and if you take into account that 50% normally only fert that leaves me with 3 - dont know what I should do - a bit of a quandary

They called me on Friday before EC on Monday and told me that my DH needed a cleansing, not me just him, that night. LOL He was thrilled about that!

well ladies- it's a negative for me.. my numbers are down to 57.5 and I go back on monday again just to be sure, but she told me to stop the PIO shots. Said it was a chem pregnancy and I can go back in 2 cycles- wait 1 cycle that should be coming in the next 4-5 days and then the 2nd one I could start again. we still have 3 FEs.

I still can't believe I was never pregnant- my body and heart TOLD ME! I was pregnant! I'll be on here because I need you guys for strength and want to definitely continue all your progress'!

Nimble, you are doing a great job with the list. THanks for taking care of all that. It definitely keeps us all up to date with everyone's schedule. As far as dh cleaning the pipes, we were told to DTD on HCG trigger day. My RE does all ICSI even without male factor because of better fertilization rates. I'm sure other clinics have their own protocol.

Sonya, I picked up some pretty yarn today, that has all different colors in it and a little nubby, pink, blue and yellow. I had to get out of the house for a little so I did my favorite thing yarn shopping!
Nimble the doc said the same thing to my husband on Saturday before our EC on Monday, which had us dumbfounded because we had read he wasn't supposed to for 3-5 days leading up to it.
As for ICSI our doc did half ICSI and half natural which is what he always does to cover the bases I guess. We are wondering now if our blasts are ICSI or natural, we meant to ask the question. In the picture it looks like one has a little hole on the outer layer.
Shantala and Kandice my heart goes out to you both. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi there

Glad it's all going ok for you. We were told no sex for 2-3 days before retrieval, just like when having a SA test done. Our is hopefully is April 2nd, so Thursday March 29th would be the time to do it for us leaving 30th, 31st, 1st 3 clear days before hubby needing to do his bit on the 2nd. I don't think they'd actually count 2nd, but the did say they'll tell us when the cut off point at our next scan on Tuesday.

Fingers and toes crossed for you guys .
