We are getting ready to try our frist at home insemination with donor sperm. I was looking for any stories of others that have tried this. I just want to know what we are in for.
We have been wanting this for a long time and it is time to try AGAIN!

Hi Amy,
Is seems most people on here must do their inseminations at a clinic. Just wanted to bump this up for you. I sure wish we could - its a 6 hour drive to our clinc for us! However i have heard you can often have a higher chance of a good results by going to the clinic.

Its not our ideal way of having a family, but i know its going to be our ideal family.

we have done 5 iuis with donor sperm and no joy w r thinking of home insems, as it gets quite costly in the clinic's....£850 per cycle..
IUI using donor in 2005
1st IVF cancelled OHSS 2006
2nd IVF 4 eggs all failed to fertilise 2009
3rd IVF successful 2010 pregnant Miscarried early
FET negative 2011
ADOPTED DAUGHTER 2014
