Hello, I have been reading this site since May, and it has been a great help. Myself and DH having been trying for 3 years without success. We have unexplained infertility, we have had all the test and I had a lap and dye last July - everything normal. We are under the care of the Centre 4 Life in Newcastle. We were told in May that we would have to wait 12-18 months on their waiting list, which was devasting at the time. However we received an appointment in October and we start our treatment on 15 December. I was so high in October, but now its less then two weeks away and I getting scared. We have only told a few close friends and family what it happening and they are all routing for us. Its all so new, DH went and collected the drugs and needles from the chemist. It all looks so complicated. I am looking for any advise you can give me - How did you's react to the taking the spray to stop your cycle, I just keep thinking - don't panic! - Elaine x

Hi, I went through IVF last year and can honestly say I had no reaction to the spray at all. All quite anti-climatic actually :) The jabs scared me most but had no problems after the first one, on realising that if using a pen-type device, they are nothing like an injection and completely painless - esp. if like me you can pinch a bit of tummy skin without too much difficulty!

Stay on the board and read lots, most Q have been asked and answered many times previously. There's a huge amount of information and support available here.

We were lucky the first time and will be FETing in Jan/Feb.

Good luck!
Debra.
