Discharge?

Post by Katy91 »

Hi everyone - I had my second beta on 3/21 and it was 551, so the numbers seem good. First u/s on 3/28.

I'm having the normal symptoms of feeling heavy and swollen breasts. But I also seem to have a watery discharge. and I don't see anyone else mentioning that. Has anyone else had that? Is there anything to worry about? It seems just clear - no spotting or anything. But it's quite damp!

Katy---I was trying to remember if mine started that early or not...I know for the last month or so I've been having an increase in discharge--it's usually clear or even white. From what I've read, it's fairly common. Just kind of weird and gross!!!!! Congrats on your BFP!

Katy,

It's nothing to worry about. Pregnancy causes an increase in vaginal discharge. Just wait until to you hit your third trimester and you are trying to figure out if it's vaginal discharge, if you'd peed because you have no bladder control left or if you're leaking amniotic fluid!

Congrats on your BFP!

Hi Katy I am five and a half weeks pregnant and i have exactly the same thing i have had it for over a week now. Sometimes i will feel a dribble just come out of me as if i have peed myself but its not its watery discharge, then other times its a bit more thick and sticky.

My doc said this was normal and i think the pessaries can make it look worse than it actually is!

Hi Cat - that's really good to hear. Your symptoms sound a lot like mine so that's a big relief. Congratulations on your BFP! I'm on the injectable progesterone myself. I had no idea it would have so many side effects - and it's hard to tell what's what.

First scan next Wednesday...can you ever stop being nervous!?!?

Ha! I am glad you asked about this because I was a little embarrassed to ask about this myself.

I started it before I even got my BFP. I think it's all the hormones in your body and pregnancy hormones kicking in. I was worried about it too but then my sister calmed my fears when she said it's normal.

I agree that it's gross... but ah well... =)

Congrats on your BFP!

Congratulations to you all. I was always told that discharge is a sign of a healthy pregnancy. Don't forget if you're taking pessaries as well it won't be looking too pleasant!

This board is good for asking all the questions you're too embarrassed to ask!

Best of luck to you
