Is there only me?????

Hello there I've been looking through the boards, is there only me that is doing a cycle this side of Christmas?? would love to hear from anyone else who is. This is my 2nd diui cycle. Had a negative beginning of Nov, keen to start again! I went for my baseline scan today. I was suppose to start my period today and they're keen that I start before i start my injections though the scan showed only a very small lining. Had my bloods done and so have to phone tomorrow to see if I can start injecting tomorrow! Look forward to hearing from you all

Good luck for tomorrow , I think everyone is waiting till after christmas to try again , its weird that everyone has scarperd , I found that 2 weeks ago when I was home alone and there were only a few people on the site each day to speak to me, I was constantly checking the page to see if there was progress!!!! Sad Sad Sad ! anyway I hope you get to start tomorrow. Trace x

Hello, You're not alone! I too am fitting a cycle in before christmas. I am having IVF (2nd cycle) and am due for EC next Monday with ET on the Thursday so my 2ww (if I last that long, period came very early with last cycle) will end approximately on Boxing Day! Scary! If you are doing IUI, then I guess you will have the procedure around two weeks following the start of your period,is that right? And then the usual dreaded 2ww. I think you'll be just a little bit behind me then, If I've worked it out right.

hi girls i'm hoping to have di on friday. I have been waiting for my lh surge, i will be on day 14 on friday. well i will not go on to much but i have had 3 goes at icsi with dh sperm. ( one of those goes i was an egg donor) and one go at ivf with a donor sperm and fet but still no pg. I have eggs in the freezer but wanted to try di as it is drug free. I'm going to carry on doing all my normal things when i'm on the 2wk and see what happen's. lisa have you tried di or have you alway's gone for diui.I'm sure i have spoke to you on another thread.Did you carry on as normal or did you take time off. millie hope all goes well next week have you any idea how many eggs you have got already, or have you not had a scan yet. well hope i have more new's on friday... let's hope we get a lovley xmas present....positive thoughts take care july ann

Hi Girls Just wanted to wish you all the best for your treatments this month. I'm having a few months off. We are waiting for an egg donor, and have decided that we will try 2 more goes of IUI next year as DH doesn't want to give up on my eggs just yet!! anyway thought I'd say Hi Lisa good luck hope it happens for you this time, still very interested in you protocol, don't know why they down reg you before stims. well girls been to the clinic today and all went well saw my eggwhich was ready to go at 19mm, so had sperm put in then went and spent lot's of money on xmas present's and a present for me... It was so easy and I feel great no stress at all(wait till next week I bet I will be streesed)Have to go back in saturday and test date is on 19 december... well I'm out with the girls tonight and i'm going to have a few drinks.Have only told my sister and all of you that i'm doing tmt, so will not have to tell everyone that it has not worked, what a nice surprise it will be if i'm pg... lisa have you started injections nice to hear from you di,and fi hope you are well. traci hope you are going to be about the next couple of weeks have a good weekend from july ann

Great news - I was so worried I'd be by myself! Went to the clinic on Wednesday, had scan and bloods but still no period!! ANyway I rang on Thursday and my bloods came back fine and so started injecting last night - I did my first injection myself, dh did them last time. Was realy quite proud of myself

I go back for another scan on Thursday and if all goes well back then on Sat, with diui on MOnday 15th!! Julyann - I'm glad your di went well. This is my 2nd diui, having using a stimulated cycle because we only had 2 samples of the donor sperm left. (dh has a daugther already and we wanted to use the same donor) So this cycle is really crunch time, it's the last sample of that donor in the country!!!!! Millie - hope you are doing well. Aly - nice to hear from you. Glad you've decided to continue your journey next year. Let's hope 2004 is a great year for both of us! Anyway, hope you are all well. I'm doing my no caffine, no chocolate, no alcohol - not the best for Xmas but I'll do anything to help! Have a good weekend Love Lisa x x x

Hi everyone, thanks for all your good wishes. July Ann, how exciting! Just the awful wait now I have my fingers crossed for you and also for Lisa for the 15th, hope you are both able to get through the 2ww as stress free as poss. I had my final scan today and have about 20 good sized follicles (some small ones in addition) and have confirmed final Corragon injection for tomorrow night and then EC for Monday 8th Dec at 9.00am, at least it'll be over with nice and early! I won't sleep the night before anyway!! I was so bloated and uncomfortable after the last one and am really quite scared it will be that uncomfortable again. I was so bloated I couldn't get any clothes on - had to slob about in dressing gown for about 5 days (felt like a lifetime though!) Having done it before doesn't seem to make me any the less nervous - does anyone else find that? Will be thinking of you anyway and perhaps we can all go mad together! love Millie

hi girls millie that is great 20 you must be bloated. Just the weekend to go then you will be on the 2 wk.Lisa I remember you from the caz thread and I found what you said really helped. my dh does not go on the pc much but he found what you said about your dh and his little girl took all his worry's away. well must go and do some house work. catch up soon july ann p.s the nicker checking has already started....

Hi there Millie excellent news about your follicles. I hope all goes well for Monday and EC. July ann - I'm interested to hear that you've had 2 di's. I've read about it and can see that it increases your chances, especially as it is not an assisted cycle. It's not something thatmy clinic does. Injections are going okay. Been very tearful though. Tried to explain to dh about the way it is. As much as he is wonderful and does everything to help I've tried to tell him about the constant feeling I have. The always thinking about it. The 6am, 2pm, 9pm and 10pm drug taking - there is no escape. I know deep down that this is not everything. That I have my health and wonderful husband, family and freinds but at the moment it IS everything and I feel quite guilty about that. Am I making sense?? anyway thanks for letting me get that off my chest. July ann - hope you don't have nay hpts! relax and enjoy your 2 weeks and reman positive. Speak to you all soon Love Lisa x x
