Hello my march buddies!!!! Thanks for all your messages....i'm so sorry i've left it so long to post, but yesterdy we went for ET and when i came home i just felt an overwhelming tiredness!!! I even slept in this morning...so unlike me!! I think it was a sense of relief that my babies are back with me and i just feel so much better and calmer...of course i feel anxious too, but not as much as i expected. For statistical reasons i would have preffered day 5 transfer...our chances are apparently better, i dare not admit it before, but i was really hoping for day 3 transfer..my gut feeling was for yest and so it was! We replaced two embryos...both were gd2...one towards the higher end (nearly gd 1) and the other simply gd 2, I did think it would bother me that they weren't grade 1, but they are a part of me and actually from what i have read you just never can tell which are going to take and which are not...so i think lots of positive visualisation and prayers and if they are meant to be they will hopefully be my beautiful babies one day and if they are meant to be the property of God then i guess i won't get to share them. But i won't focus on that...more on how my lining is thickening nicely and how my lovely embies hopefully are dividing and growing and snuggling in!

I went for accupuncture 30mins before and after ET and she told me something interesting...if you place your finger on your fulcrum (under the tip of your nose and above your lip) and meditate with positive visualisation it helps...i have tried it and it certainly helps visualise!

SO how are you all?

Shantala...how are you sweetie? So excited that you have booked Eygpt..it's supposed to be really nice and the weather should be great! I think you're right to have booked at the moment i think live for today give yourself a good break, and then round two here we come!

Rae...i was reading in the zita west book, she advises to banish negative thoughts even as they enter your mind...she reccommends lying on the floor, on your back, and counting to eight as you breathe in through your nose, then out for eight as you breathe out, while doing this visualize delivering oxgen to your baby and visualising baby happily snuggled in you...just keep thinking positive positive positve..you've come this far beyond your expectation i'm sure as you were waiting for IVF...hopefully and god willing some things are just meant to be! Waiting for thursday to come quickly with you!

Sha and Nimble...congrats on trigger...nimble the exact same thing happened with me with the powder and liquid thing... :? Even when the tiniest drops left the syringe as i was trying to get rid of the airblows i was like arrrgh that's supposed to be inside me!!!

Holly...11 eggs is brill! Lets hope they fertilise nicely and dh's sperm are nicely swimming you're lovely eggs!

Happy anniversary Nikki...how did you celebrate? Are you feeling any better?

Vicky..good to hear from you!!! It has been a long time! Pleased to hear that no septum in the uterus. Congrats on starting lupron today...lets the emotions roll on!!! Good that they are checking out chromosomes etc...that must be reassuring!

Cookie...i was thinking of you during ET, i just joked with my RE that i hope i don't pee...he didn't look too impressed!  While we were waiting to be called in (they are always running late at my clinic) i just had to go! So i thougth i would just let out a little...but once the flow was going i just couldn't stop!! Now what...i went out and downned 8 glasses in one go!!!!!!!! Prlonged the chat with the embryologist so that water could travel down to bladder!

Hi tiger!!! aka Sonya...how you feeling today...dh still rattling your cage??? Hope the shakes have improved..your message made me laugh...as my mother and sisters say..."Nermin...your butt is your "biggest" asset"!!

Hello Quita and a big welcome to you...you're never too late to join the nutty train, and you never get lonely with all of us here to cheer you along...i'm now on my 2ww too...sending you lots of positive vibes!!! So tell us about you? How many did you get transferred? Icsi/ivf?

Steph...good luck for today...thinking and praying for you!

Anna and Yarnista...all te best...hope your spirits are up. Praying for a BFP!

To everyone else..hello!

Hey nerms thats great news - I assumed when you had gone MIA thats where you were and I thought positive thoughts for you. So now the 2ww... you certainly have the right attitude for it and I certainly believe in the visualisation and positive thinking so no negative thoughts from now on in.

I didn't realise you had to be 'full' before ET, sure i wasn't last time, however must remember to ask tomorrow.

Holly - 11 embies fantastic - now they should be playing nicely with hubby's swimmers and become one. :D

shantala - yeah I know time has gone so quick. The hols sound fantastic and is just what you need - recharge your batteries before you face the challenge again. What your next steps ?

Sorry to hear she is being the utter ***** again  some good R&R is called for and DVDs, a cosy blanket and chocolates :)

Quita - of course you may join - this thread is fantastic - good luck on your 2ww !!

Sonya - oh dear hubby not playing ball eh?? I can just picture you two on the front lawn. Wow 4 shots a day, I thought 3 were bad enough, my you must be resembling some pin cushion by now.

Rae - i can't imagine how you are feeling but I just sense that you will be ok, praying hard that your scan on Thursday will put all your fears behind. Try and keep that PMA up, I know its hard but try honey.

Nicky - how are you - still getting aches and pains from your ovaries? How was you anniversary - did you both have a great day?

think I can understand where you are coming from - i'm having really aches from my right side today and worried that my eggs are going solo without my DR!! Can that happen??

Riles - did stimming start yesterday ?

Mama - any confirmation on if you are EC tomorrow??

Hello ladies!!

Yarnista....sorry if you said it already, but when is your test date?...whenever it is, good luck!!!!

Nimble....you made me laugh with the water and powder dilemma, it is so typical, the days before you are so sure of what you have to do, but when the moment comes it feels like you forget everything, mind goes blank, same thing happens to me!!!...Good luck tomorrow!!!!

Rae...I know, it is sooooooooo difficult not to worry, mainly when you had an m/c in the past, same thing will probably happen to me, I was telling that to my DH the other day, and he told me to have positive attitude, and he is right, we don't realize how important the positive attitude is, it can really change things.....I will try it, I hope you do too  ....about the septum, yes, I remember you having one, actually when they told me I might have it I thought about you, really, and that gave me hope because you are pregnant!!!, but anyway, apparently I don't have it, which as you said, if I would have had it it is easy to deal with, but I just didn't want another thing to delay my cycle again, so I am happy I don't have to have any procedure or anything!!

Sonya...how dare your DH not see things your way!!, doesn't he know not to mess up with an IVF'er loaded with hormones???.....ooooooo he still has a lot to learn from all this process

Quita....welcome!!!, of course you are not late, you can always join us, it makes time goes a little bit faster. Also any questions you may have you can ask us, that is great, because if we wouldn't have us I think the clinics would have a much greater load of phone calls from crazy IVF'ers

Shantala.....so great to hear about you!!, so Egypt, that is so great!!, I would looooooooooove to go to Egypt some day, let us know how it goes and if you can show us some pictures too!!. That will load your energy for your next cycle for sure!!!!. Have fun!!!

Misspiggy....congrats!!, 11 eggies is fab!!. Good luck for the fert report!!

Nerms.....so your are officially in the 2ww now!!....woohoooooo!!!! Don't worry about the 3 day vs. 5 day transfer, I did the same thing on my last cycle, I had a 3 day transfer and I was thinking "what if I would have done a 5 day transfer?", the thing is I got pregnant anyway and a lot of the other girls who did 3 day transfer did too, so relax, you will have your BFP!!...I love your positive attitude and also what your acu told you about placing your finger on your fulcrum and positive thinking (Ihave to admit I tried it while reading your post  )

Well, I officially started Lupron this morning, it has been a while since my last injection, I was kind of out of practice, but it is like riding a bike  ........everything else is good, not sure when will I have my cariotype results back, probably in a week or 2.......

Hi ladies,

and let me once more thank all of you for your support! I think it's so wonderful how we are all going through different phases of basically the same process and can be there for each other on good days and on the not so good ones. So thank you for being you!!!

Vicki, that's exactly it - even if something can be taken care of, who needs the worry and the hassle of yet another operation or procedure. So glad it all turned out ok for you. And congrats for starting downregging!!

Nerms, I thought you might have gone in as you did not write again later. Congrats - it must feel so unreal to have your little ones back and knowing that there they are, snuggled in comfortably.. Have a happy 2ww! Oh, and thank you for the tip, I'll have to try that when the panic hits...

Holly, conragts for your 11 eggs! Hope you're getting a good rest now and when they call back it'll be with great news.

Shantala, Egypt sounds like a lot of fun 8)

Sonya, 4 shots!!! Wow, you must feel quite the pincushion!!! Great weather you've got there - although maybe it's not so pleasant with the hormones and all. I had to laugh, though, reading about you guys "arguing like rednecks" Hopefully DH knows to leave the tiger well alone from now on.... Hang in there sweetie!!

Welcome Quita!

So who's testing next - Steph? Good luck hun!!!! And Anna and Yarnista cannot be far behind? Lots of baby dust and strong BFPs!!!!

Milestone day for me tomorrow, but I'm concentrating on the scan on Thursday. MIL is coming from Finland on Tue and staying for nine days, so there will be plenty of action. We're also going to go to Vegas together and visit Grand Canyon.

Have a beautiful week, ladies!!!

Image Quita. I hope your IVF hasn't been too daunting on you. This is my first IVF as well, and I have my trigger on Friday, and retrieval on 2nd April with any luck.

I hope you'l feel less along once you see that there's many of us at different stages that can answer any of your questions. Enjoy your stay and I hope you get your :bfp:.

Good morning ladies-

Nerms-I had 1 grade A1 the best you can get and a BFN so you are right you can v=never tell.

Nimble/Sha-Wow your EC is already here…Good luck and I will be praying your eggies cooperate.

MrsB-You are on a roll now…you will be at 12 weeks in no time!

Quita-Welcome…you will love it here!

Sonya-Your story was so funny…I had to read it to DH, I was just telling him to stop being mean to me.

Kandice-Good luck tomorrow and I am hoping for the best!

Rae-12 WEEKS tomorrow, you are on the home stretch!

Yarnista-Good luck tomorrow!!!

Shantala-Wow Egypt…my bother went there when he was in the Navy and he said it was so beautiful. I have always wanted to go there. I want lots of pictures when you get back!

MISSPIGGY-Wow 11 eggs that is great. I hope they fertilize.

Well as for me, DH took me out for dinner and some romance, since it is really the last Saturday we can do anything for a few weeks. Trigger next Saturday! It was wonderful and romantic. Whwn we got home I wanted some ice cream and he said “since I am such a wonderful “DH” I will make it for you”. I just started laughing uncontrollable…and he asked why, I told him that all the DH’s make comments about our lingo and it is so cute.

As for my state of mind and body I still feel like Sh$%^ but this to will pass. I really look prego and I like pretending. I find myself rubbing my belly and talking to the eggies growing…LOL I take Menopur in the AM and it sucks. It really stings and I can’t ever really get back to sleep. I have to take it at 7am everyday since DH gives me the shot and I have to do it before he goes to work and that really stinks for the weekends. Gotta run see you gals later!

Hi Ladies

Just a quick stop as I'm not feeling so good today.

For all those that have had your EC in the past few days, I hope it's all gone well and you're not in too mucj discomfort. If you want to ease the pain, try taking 4 6c's of Arnica a day for 4 days ao that you're taking after ET as well. That's a herbal tablet for healing and should help things especially if you've had any bleeding. If you can't get 6c then there's 30c just take one a day for 4 days.

I hope everyones been ok today, Shantala sorry you're having a bad time of it, but I hope you'll feel better in a few days. Glad to know you have a nice holiday to look forward to. My friend at work loves Egypt and has been a few times, as her brother in law that's Eqyptian so her sis, brother in law and children go whenever they can to visit his family. He's , spent most his life here as a teacher but it's like he never left when they go back, their such a close family.

Good luck and I hope everyones plans for tomorrow are good ones Image.
