Morning ladies.

Well went into work this morning for what should have been a 12hr shift only to come back home after 2hrs!!!!
I’m in so much pain, I couldn’t even lift a patient up in the bed, and it feels like I have been kicked repeatedly in the tummy. I know EC is a little invasive to the ovaries but in the past it has always been mild apart from when I had a slight case of OHSS but that was a more bloated pain.

All the ladies that have had EC did you experience a lot of pain, I’m so worried that it’s the start of OHSS again and I wont get my embies back this month.

Sorry its all me, me, me but feel so down at the mo.

Feel terrible. Went to the loo just now perfectly happy and calm looking forward to Thursday HPT, looked down and I was spotting.

This is how my period always starts spotting usually from day 13 to day 26 getting heaver each day until my period starts properly on day 26 for a week.

So now I am lost. And I can't test for another 2 days a least I think. Had ET on Sat 17th March.

Sorry, I just want this IVF to work so much like we all do and I've grown so attached to my embies they seem so real to me. I don't want to lose them. I want them to have their chance to live.

Phoned the clinic and the nurses are in surgery but the lovely secretary told me she will get them to call me back and to try not to worry at this stage as the blood was brown.

But then it always is to begin with.

Do any of you have the same problem with spotting and have any of you spotted this late on in the 2 ww but still been pregnant?

Sorry can’t help you with the spotting, as ive never had a BFP, or spotting on 2ww.
Although I have read over the past few years that there are many women out there that have had spotting and even bleeding but still gone on to have BFP.
Please keep the PMA, as negative thoughts are no good for you, hope the clinic get back to you soon. Thinking of you lots honeys and praying hard for that BFP

Hi numbers back in 4 embies from 11 eggs not so good.
They put 2 back in today but the embies are poor.I think we have to come to terms with the fact that dh and I will not have a child together.

Holly...please don't worry and keep up the PMA...it's not over till it's over...i do feel for you, and although i would be feeling the same as you are i would try and keep positive...my motto..prepare for the worst...hope for the best. You will prob have read that some ladies have Gd1 and still get BFN's, i think you never can tell. Chin up chick! Your embies need you to be positive!

Quita...don't worry also...i have read time and time again that any time during 2ww you can get spotting to heavy bleeding and still get BFPs...you've held out this long...please hang in there...try not to do HPT though...you may end up confusing yourself. Keep positive...praying everything will be just fine. Keep smiling!

Sha...sounds like you had a painful EC...but that would explain why your in pain now...just take it easy, drink lots of water and high protein...i also read somewhere someone with OHSS was advised to drink salty things...as the salt will draw water out of your body...they were drinking V8 juice or chicken broth ( ) might be worth checking out! Hope your fert report is good...thinking of you.

Nimble...have you had your fert report yet...hope your embies are doing well and of course that you are too! Hoping to hear from you soon...quality quality quality!

As for me...i woke up feeling like I was going to go crazy...it's only day 4 of the wait and i'm feeling so confused...had so many cramps last night and this morning they have eased...still a bit bloated..i feel better now though...had to force myself to be positive...what will be will be hey...i hope if you're listening up there...that it will be of course!

Hope all the girls expecting there fert report today..you get GREAT putcome!

Hi all

just a quick up date 9 fertilised so both DH and myself are well pleased. we are having a blastocyst transfer so finger crossed that they carry on growing and they will be back home where they belong on saturday.

nimble- brill news, been thinking of you all morning while i have been waiting for my call. good luck tomorrow with the transfer.

nerms, how you feeling honey? so glad the cramps have gone, you just dont sound to happy chick . the 2 ww is the worst part, but chin up and lots of PMA, COME ON BFP. i just know its going to turn out ok for you.x

a very quick one today- "AF" came last night and this morning. but it's in quotes because it's not normal so far. I usually start with light brown and then by day 2 it's red. well yesterday started light brown like normal and this AM nothing so far, not even brown. it's almost like the friday after we celebrated- excepted we haven't done any celebrating... just bleed one day then that's it.

I can't wait for tomorrow- I just want to know something- either one way or the other- really I'll be fine! we already came to terms with that it was a BFN this time but the chances are better next time and we're fine with that, but then to be told "oh, you're numbers are up!" but the nurse admitted I was pregnant yesterday because they wouldn't have gone back up if I wasn't. so that made me feel better a little

If anyone reads redbook magazine, they're having a special section on fertility- there's one woman going through IVF- she cracks me up- says "they say it's your hip, but it's your butt" something like that. then there's one woman that lost her son to SIDS and now has a daughter and then the 3rd woman has had a uneventful pregnancy.

Hi spoke to nurses they said what you all said it might not mean a BFN so I am going to try and get my possertive head back on.

Had a scare a few weeks ago when they said I was under stimulated but that turned out ok in the end when they got 6 egg and 5 fertilised 2 to a good standard.

So hopefully this is just another little twist.

Kia good luck with your bastocyst transfer, does that mean they look after them longer in the lab before they put them back with you?

I think cramps at four days are good though
Zeta West says "Implantation is aaided by the uterus, which presses its back and front walls together over the embryo rather like a closed fist" so that is probably what you are feeling.

14days on to the 17th is 31st but how old was your embie on ET?? as if you take off the age of the embies you could test ealier on a hpt if you're really in need of testing!!! try not to, but if u really need to then thursday maybe???

On my last from last IUI i was preg, but thought my bleed was BFN so didnt test, it was very light, still red but lighter than normal, but it was summer, and usually i find im lighter in the summer so didnt think much of it, it was the following month, i knew i was preg, as boob grew in size and i was feeling off waether (no med on this cycle btw) HPT showed BFN so again thought nothing of it, and then out of the blue, mid cycle of so i though, i had the heaviset bleed ever!! I was miscarrying!! I never even knew it i was preg!!!

Usually i get spotting 2days before AF!

HEY!! i just posted all that and forgot to tell ya my news!!!

Base line scan was today, and my lining is basically non existant and ovaries hardly doing a thing!!

My left ovary was poly cystic!!! OMG!!! i thought, when the nurse said that, when i said what do u mean, she said that there were loads of tiny tiny follicles on it but they were domant, so nothing to worry about and all good!!!!

so now i wonder if that means, when they are stimmed i will get lots of follicles!!! x x

Next scan wed, after 8 days of stimms!!! Yahooo!!!!

nerms - you've got a very good attitude...what will be will be and that is so true! i hope you start feeling a bit better soon. i'm ok thanks, still getting good and bad days but the weather being all sunny definitely helps. no, i'm not working at the moment....i was on a maternity cover contract but the lady on maternity decided to come back early so that meant i had to go...so i'm looking for a job at the moment...i have 2 job interviews this week in the same place but different departments...one of them more or less told me i would get the job so i'm hoping i'll deifnitely have a job at the end of the week. fingers crossed!

nicky - woohoo for downregging!! and bring on the egg food!!

kia - 9 is fantastic!!! congrats!! as for the pain....with my EC they got 15 eggs (although not all mature) and i was in agony for a couple of days after (to the point where i couldnt get up without help)...and i didnt have OHSS....the pain went completely after about a week. hope that helps.

kandice - you're in my thoughts!! i really hope it works out for you....it must be so difficult being in limbo!!

quita - please try and keep up that PMA!!! ive seen so many ladies on here who have spotted in their 2ww and got a BFP!! so fingers crossed!!

misspiggy - its so hard when not as many embies fertilise as we'd hope but 4 is still good!!! thinking of you!!

as for me - ive just phoned the clinic for a third time after my BFN and asked why someone still hasnt called me back and they apologised and said someone will give me a call later...thats what i was told friday so we'll wait and see. my clinic have been brilliant so far and i really couldnt fault them at all until now...anyway, i'll be excited to see what they say!
