Should I try again? testing?

Post by denee »

SCSA testing

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Everyone,

Recently, we had our 4th failed ivf cycle. Everything looked good including embryo quaility. The doctors are confused as to why they cycle failed.

They suggested we test my dh's sperm -SCSA testing https://www.scsadiagnostics.com/aboutus/scsa.cfm

Re suggested water test on my uterus to see about implantation. Although, uterus lining is always beautiful 8-9. There is really no apparent reason for the failed cycles. Immune testing was done, etc..

Should I give up? at this point evey using what I :?: have frozen may be a waste. It's almost more frusrating not to have a direct cause of failure.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Denee

Denee~ Your journey sounds frustrating for sure. To never know exactly why would be hard. Obviously, it is different for everyone and I can't tell you what you should do but I think you will kick yourself if you give up now and wonder "should I have tried one more time?". You sound conflicted about it which is hard. Only you and DH will know what to do but I will be thinking of you and hoping that I can post a big congrats sooner than later for you!!! :D

It is apparent that you will make a lovely mother and I totally encourage you if you are on the fence about it at all! I'll try to be your 2nd biggest cheerleader, behind dh that is!!!! :D

Good luck and take care~

Hi denee
sorry to hear abt ure news. Believe me it happens. If you have your embryos frozen you should go ahead for FET. I did have my 1st ivf cycle four years back. it failed . Re was also not able to give any reason why it failed, because everything looked normal. and even my infertilty is unexplained. But after three months i tried for FET and it worked. Now i am going in for another ivf next month just hoping to get another good news. good luck to you too and never get discouraged, whatever happens might happen for good. who knows next time u get lucky. good wishes to you.

Hi Ladies,

I would like to thank you for your support. You have no idea what it means coming from other women who understand. Thank for taking the time to write some encouraging words to me.

We know alot of this but it always helps to know others care and are responding.

Take Care,

I definitely think you should give it a try using your frozen embryos. Unfortunately it may just take several attempts before you finally have a positive ending cycle.

We all understand how frustrating a failed cycle is and wish you the best!
