PMA~ I think you may be reading this a little to literally! Aunty has been such a HUGE support system for so so many people and I think people just feel that a person that has given themselves to so many others for support deserves to have their dreams come true. Honestly I think you should be aware of the actually message here as I believe Aunty has been a huge support for you as well. It kind of pisses me off that you would put a negitive spin on this post especially when it was done out of love and respect for this woman. I understand that others have issues with ivf and affording it and if they asked for our support I know that we would all back them as well. I know that you have strong opinions on what is OK for this board and what is not but that is not your call and I feel if you dont like something then dont read it. Everyone deserves a child and I hope your dreams come true as well. Please understand where this is coming from.

Thanks,
Erin

Hi Aunty,

Sorry if my post hurt you, but it was not aimed at you. Given the way this thread was introduced, I wrongly believed that someone had opened an account for you on that website and came back here to advertise it. Hence me pointing out that it was unfair for the others in your situation, no matter what level of involvment you've been putting in this forum. My wrong. As I wrote in my previous post, I find nothing wrong in you joining that website on your own to try and get funding for your IVF project, hence me giving a vote to encourage you, too.
AuntyPebbles wrote:Hi PMA i felt i had to respond to this.
and no of course im not going to boo you but i will say i can not find a comment that says
"Aunty deserves a child more than anyone else".
...

Well, here are two fine examples taken from this very thread:

wannababyivf: How thoughtful of you Jackoa and who is more deserving then Aunty!

sokru8 : I can't think of a more deserving person than Aunty!
AuntyPebbles wrote:your right i dont, i never said i did and if you think for one second this is "JUST about ME" then you really dont know me at all do you. I am sorry you see me as such a selfish woman. i hope all the lady's who know me know this is not the case.
And this is where the misunderstanding comes from; I never said you would mean such a thing. I never said you were a selfish woman. You're reading between lines that don't even exist; I'm a very straightforward person and there's no need to over-interpret. I wouldn't have gone to the robinhood website and voted for your wish if I was against the idea or thought you are selfish. I simply pointed out that I really resent certain comments that are meant to encourage and praise you but may be hurtful for other people.

So let me apologize, deeply, for my post obviously hurt your feelings. It was not my intention. That's the reason why I deleted it.

And no, Fed, I didn't forget the support Aunty gave me. I'm in fact very grateful. But I do remember that other people also gave me support, and these people are as good, generous, caring and deserving, and that is exactly what I wanted to highlight with my previous post.

Hugs,

Sophie

!!!!!!Wonderful idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have enough stress on our hands ... it's just not fair to have to worry about the financial side of it too.

FionaA.. go to "Vote here on this Wish!"and click on how many stars you want to rate it (5 being the highest). As soon as you click on how many stars you want, you'll see a popup "user information". Fill that out.. it should say you have voted or something like that. Then check your email. Click on the robinhood.com site..sign in and you're done!
I think that if you click on a low amount of stars that it's negative..so hopefully everyone votes 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all
I just want to add my two cents in.. I understand that there are a lot of deserving women on the this board ( I feel we are all deserving to have our dreams come true) that being said I have to say that Aunty is the type of person who inspires people through her kindness and her heart that people may actually belive she is more deserving. Not everyone has to share that feeling and I dont feel that it takes away from anyone else. I personally have been so blessed by Aunty and have seen the amaing way that she cares for others that I feel compelled to share my feelings about her. I find her to be an amazing woman and although some people may feel that this means I dont think they are deserving of a bab that is not the case. I wish everyone the best and I hope all of our dreams come true.. For me this board is about helping one another and if it helps Aunty in anway I am on board.. Again just my two cents..

Love and hugs
Jackie

Aunty,

I feel you deserve this so so much and sometimes more than others because of how much pain you have endured and I will back this comment up by saying that even when things went wrong for you and unfortunately this has happened many times, even when others were successful very quickly, you never patronised, You never added bitter comments, you always supported & congratulated the BFP's even when I am sure inside you felt "why can't it be my turn". I can relate to that feeling many times myself. As you are aware it took me & my DH 5 attempts and over $45,000 dollars to get here but in all this time you supported me through the bad times and through my final success.
I will never forget that support and I will be here with you to the end.

Jackoa21 - Terrific idea. Cannot believe how far along you are now - so close

Just been there and added my vote to help Aunty who has helped so many of us without asking for anything in return.

However much we each think that we deserve this for ourselves, what does it cost us to help someone else?Just because we wish for this for Aunty, it does not mean that it is suddenly less likely for it to happen to any one of the other lovely ladies here. It in fact costs nothing other than a moment or two of our time
