Courtney,

Congrats on the transfer! We'll be here to support you through the 2ww.

ckl,

Awesome on the BFP! I can't wait to hear if it's twins.

Had our consultation this past Wednesday. Classic PCOS for me. DH's sperm looks terrific (he's been real smug about that).

My stomch is in knots. Do we do it or not? Shouldn't I be satisfied with the family we have? How can I not give it this try? How do people afford this? GEESH.

So many layers of complication when you add a donor into the mix. We're certainly looking at a few months before a real start if we proceed, due to the logistics of using a donor.

Dr. Whelan either told me to expect a call from the business office and the egg donor coordinator, or I'm supposed to call them! I'll follow-up on Monday. I was on informaiton overload when I met with Dr. Whelan.

I can't recall who was doing Shared Risk through Integramed. I have questions ... will you let me know who you are?

Hugs,

Hi Girlies!

WOOO HOOOOOOOO CKL. Makes me feel so good our first ET on this thread was a BFP!

Sara: I know this whole process can be really overwhelming. Just take it one step at a time

Courtney: How are you holding up?

I cant wait until tomorrow for the eggies report!

Got the embryo report and all 6 made it through and are still growing. 6-8 cells! We are doing transfer on Monday at 1pm.

As you can imagine we are really excited. It was a stressfull couple of days and we prayed all the time for our lil ones to make it!

XOXO

I am so glad that I found this site. I am a patient of Dr. Wing's. My retrieval was Wednesday, March 21. My transfer was Monday. I am having cramping and back pain off and on and I am nervous that this is not working. :( I had two blasts on a day five transfer. I didn't get the grade of the embies, but Dr. Wing said they were great and he didn't recommend adding another to my two. He said was one was wiggling!! I pray that I am pregnant and that all of you guys are as well!! I am just SO stressed about the cramping...

Welcome Reward

A common side effect of the Progesterone is cramping. Try not to worry too much. I know easier said then done. Drink lots of water and email your nurse about your cramps.

Robyn welcome! Do not stress about the cramping at all...Sonya is right that it could be the progesterone. I had cramping from about 5 days after my transfer on...and got a BFP! every body is different and when i was stressing just like you are, soooo many people told me that the cramping can be a good sign, and it was!

Courtney how are you feeling?

Sonya....yea!!!! 1 more day! I am suprer excited fo you! of course not about the dredded 2ww, but we will all be here for you. keep us posted!

Thanks for letting me join you guys!

My HCG test is Thursday. I could not wait and did a HPT yesterday, it was negative. I know it is early and I know they said not to, but I couldn't resist. With the cramping, the loss of other pregnancy symptoms, I couldn't help it...

ckl,
did your symptoms get stronger the closer to the BFP?

Welcome Robyn,

This is new to me but I'd bet that if your HCG is not scheduled until Thursday, today is way too early to get a reliable reading on a home HPT. I wish you hadn't been so tempted. :( Don't give up yet. I'm hoping you find yourself pleasantly surprised.

I am fighting the urge to test again. I did have some spotting last night pink then brown, but it has stopped so far today. It was odd b/c it was right after my progesterone shot. I am drinking water like a camel. Hopefully, it is nothing and I will have a BFP to celebrate on Thursday! Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise (PUPO).

I like that: PUPO. Agreed!

Now keep your hands where I can see them and slowly back away from the HPTs.

Congratulations Sonya!!!!!

Please remember one thing: HPTs are evil. Keep your distance and keep us posted.

We're rooting for you.
