Happy Friday Everyone!!!

Donna - I also had some drops of Follistim drip from the shot after the injection! Liquid gold! Anyway, I'm going to take the needle out of the pen quicker after removing it. But, the RE says not to worry because they really do put alot extra in each pen. So, I have more than 900 IU in my vial. I also hold the needle in my belly a bit longer to avoid post injection drip the best I can. Last night I actually had post injection bleed!! (not much, just nicked a little vessel ) OK, (don't think I'm totally crazy, just a little odd ) I calculated our due date based on 14 day transfer with LMP March 27 (I usually need full stim time) and it is DEC 31, 2007!!! It was strange because my dh just said yesterday, "wouldn't it be weird if our baby is due the same day Chloe died" and this is the exact same day. Maybe she's trying to tell us something?
The Follistim pen should turn and stop when it reaches zero. Mine doesn't due a definitive click. I just push it as far as possible and hold for a moment.
On another note, I'm having 3-4 put back in. We're going for twins. (twins would definately change the due date, we'd have our little ones before Christmas )

Sher8 - Welcome! Sounds like you have a great history with 1 for 1. Way to go!! You're blast transfer will go great! Looks like you have one amazing embie and that is definately all you need. Sending warm prayers and California sunshine to your little frostie

N77 - That PMS is the worst. I had it for the last 2 weeks. I really think the stim cycle helps to pull me out of that mood. Even if it doesn't, you're going to do great and we'll all be toddling around with our round bellys in no time. Pamper yourself, be easy on yourself and get alot of rest. We're asking alot of ourselves during these cycles. (I also find chocolate tends to help perk the mood )

Charlie - You lucky thing! This really must be your month - your B-day, your 2 weeks holiday and your upcoming BFP! Couldn't be more perfect timing. Hope your stomach is feeling a better.

Hello everyone

I was hoping to join you all. i recognise a few of the names from my previous cycles. Just shows this really is a lottery wish it was not . Hopeing we will all get BFP.

This is my third icsi fresh cycle. i have also done 2 FET. I had a BFP at my last fresh cycle but unfortunaely at my scan no heartbeat was found and ended up having a M/C.

Feeling postitive with this cycle but so far not responding the way i normally do to the drugs. I am on Day 6 of stims and am on GonalF 225. I have immune issues and have so far had 3 humeria injections to bring my TNF levels down. Also have raised nkcells and am on clexane and dexametasone ( steroids).

Been having acupunture again this time round and it seems to be helping keeping me relaxed and also listning to an ivf cd which also helps with relaxation. Had a lap done just prior to cycle to remove endo from pelvic area and my liver to give the embryos the best chance.

As for me had another US and B/W today. They said that I will not be a day early it will stay Monday! My follies are between 16-20mm but more at the 16 mark so they want to give them one more day to catch up. My estrogen level was 2250 and they say that is really good. So I will see the doc in the morning again and trigger tomorrow night at 8p. I am getting so excited now!!!

Everyone I missed sorry but I hope you are all doing well. I will be back later tonight. I have to take the boys to their dad’s.

My oestrogen level is now at 173 which compared to stephanie's seems a bit pathetic (we started on the same day!). The hospital have changed my drug from Follistim in the evening to Menopur, has anyopne else had a change mid cycle? I still do the Follistim in the morning. The mixing of the Menopur looks frightening but I've only got an house before I need to do it so not too long to worry about it! If anyone else is on Menopur I'd love to know what the difference is and what I should expect.

I started my stimms this morning and I must say, taking the Follistim, it burns....Does anyone else burn taking it?
I bruised my belly from it too.
But I don't mind. I would give myself a million shots to have a baby!!

It looks like I am finally going to get mu AF tomorrow (fingers crossed)...that is 4 days overdue, but still too early to start with the meds because of the lab being closed 8-14th April. So...Monday I'll see my doc, and then BCP (not sure for how meny days) Does anybody knows what is the earliest that you can be taken of BCP to start a new AF?

Hi Rebecca,
That's a great news that there's some activity..GROW follies GROW.. I'm on both Follistim and Menopur AM/PM. I do 225 follistim and 75 menopur in the morning and 225 follistim and 75 menopur in the evening. I don't know what's the defference between the two but my RE told me to do both AM/PM. AFter using it for 10 days this is what I can tell you about the menopur, it burns a little while injecting it, mixing it it's not so bad.

Just a quick update for me I have my BW and u/s yesterday and today evrything is doing great I'll have another BW and u/s tomorrow, my RE told me today that very high percentage my ET will be on Tuesday but also possible on Monday we gonna find out tomorrow. I think I will do doing the trigger this weekend...

Smattison That is great news about your growing follies. How many days have you been on stims for. I am on day 7 and have a few follies but they need to grow lots more. i have a history of over stimulating and need to coast for 4 days so they are taking it easy with me. Best of luck with trigger on Sunday if you get it. i dont know when my EC will be yet.

Rebecca How many days have you been on stims for??? I would trust that your doctor knows what he is doing and changing meds will be to see if you brespond better to that drug. Sending some postitive vibes for yours o grow. mine are slow as well.

Just had another scan and bt. scan shows lots of activity but still small. Have to wait a few hours to see what bt says.

Rebecca-I took 2 vials Menopur in the morning and 300IU Follistim in the evening. Menopur is scary and stings. The mixing is not a science but you do get use to it. I took my last Menopur shot this morning and I was so happy. It sounds like you are coming along and it will be here in no time. Hey progress is great and you should be able to see the light! GROW FOLLIES GROW!!!

Donna-I guess I don’t realize the Follistim burns because the Menopur burns so bad. I look like a connect the dot puzzle right now from all the shots but that BFP will be worth all of it and more.

Gbnut-I am on day 10 today and I trigger tonight w/EC Monday. Lots of activity is GREAT and you will be triggering before you know it!!!

Well for me I just got back from the doc and everything is a go for Monday. I will trigger tonight. The doc will call me today and let me know what time to trigger once they get a time from the center my EC will be at. They say I have 15-18 follies and they are all at 16-22mm today. I will find out my estrogen level when the doc calls.
