Hi folks... scan went ok today. I am almost 12 weeks. - 11 and a half to be exact.
I had an ultrasound done on my tummy and I could see hands and feet! The doc tried to make a good colour picture but the baby kept hiding itself!!! Just like its mum... I hate photos!!! So hopefully in three weeks there will be a better picture!!
So far so good though, will still keep you all posted.

Iam not sure if my OCT 2006 IVF buddies are still monitoring this thread. But anyway .. I thought that you guys should be the one of the first to know this- IAM PREGNANT!!!! Really.. Iam!!
After the IVF, i was sooo down and didnt do anything for couple of months.
I started taking clomid and and my dosage went to 150mg on my 3rd cycle, which was this month. Did not have any expectations and I didnot have any usual symptoms of pregnancy . I was not even careful about my activities- infact I started vigourous exercise including aerobics and yoga- GOD!!! It scares me now.
Well to summarize.. did my Beta today. I always suspected that Iam not getting pregnant because my Progesterone levels were low. So I asked them specificaly to test that too and Iam using Suppositories.
The nurse called me an hour ago and I went like this" hmm Its negative again huh??"
And she says" nawww.. its not! " Stupid me ! i asked" Are you sure thats my blood result?"- I have no idea what she said after that - was way too excited to hear anything else!
Finally i took a deep breath and asked my numbers. She said it was 134 for HCG and 24 for progesterone and said it was perfectly fine and I have to go back day after tomorrow for another beta.
Called my DH and he is like "are u sure.. don't play tricks on me " etc hehehehe
Then I called my MOM who is on the other side of the world and it was like 1 AM or something there . i woke her up in the middle of the night and told her that her prayers has been answered!Ican't wait to tell my IN-LAWS. They will be so excited .
The next was typing this long message in the middle of a very busy day at work! Couldn't help it.
Everybody who is TTC ... Its definitely hard to relax and get your mind out of this problem. But you'll all have positive results when its the perfect time. I spend $15000 on IVF before even trying the basic treatment and I failed- emotionally, physically and financially!!But then , the basic clomid helped me, no injectables, nothing:)) . GOD is our only resort and he will hold us in his arms .

Hi Bubble,
Congrats on your pregnancy. That's so wonderful you got BFP with clomid after an IVF cycle. So you went straight to IVF before any treatment. Why u didn't try any basic treatment first? Is it your doctor recommend it like that?
Hope your HCG #s and everything comes back very good. And wishing you a happy 9 months...

Well, Ann we were stupid to begin with
. Here the doctors don't always think so much about the welfare of the patient . There is business involved too. Even though my main problems were just low progesterone and late ovulation, when the doctor said with these, IVF will have 89% off pregnancy, We thought we will get pregnant in the first try itself and went for it without thinking twice. It was devastating when I got the BFN but I tried to stay positive . Was really tough.
So I took a break for a month or so , prayed a lot and mymind kept on telling that I will get pregnant with Clomid. So we decided to act like normal people . And here Iam - Pregnant with 100 mg Clomid. I hope the pregnancy stays as there is always a risk with medication pregnancies.

It is so awesome to see my October buddies having such wonderful news! Your numbers sound great and I am sure you will have a very healthy, happy pregnancy! You are now a Mommy!!!

Bubble, I have faith in you and your little miracle. Everything is going to be great!!
As for me I am doing my second IVf right now. I just got the call from the lab saying I have 7 little embies growing strong as of now. I will get my next report on Sunday and then the transfer on Monday.
Bekki and your pregnancies have given me so much joy and hope! It really helped my PMA.
Please let me know how your Beta results are today so that I can do a big huge happy dance for you before I am on bed rest next week!!!

MAke sure you take lot of rest. I remember when I did my IVF , the doc said I just had to take it easy of a day and then move on. Later on I came to know that after such procedures its best to take full bed rest for teh next few weeks. Some research says its not proven, but y take chances. So try to be in bed most of the time okay?

Hi sweetie, The transfer went great! We transfered two embies, one blastocyst and one morula. We were hoping for two blasto's but I have learned with IVF you get what you get. I am on my last day of bed rest today and I test on the 11th.

April 11th!!... thats just one week from now.. neat. Make sure u r close to GOD and don't pray for what you want , but for what GOD thinks is the best for you.He knows everything.
Me?? I don't feel any different!! I mean my BBs dont hurt, which i have heard is the most common symptom. No morning sickness yet. anyway i have to wait till the 16th for the first OB U/S. untill then i will be lil tensed. trying not to think abt it much which is impossible!:))

Bubble sorry for the late reply. I have been busy my end - Congratulations!! this is awesome !!! we have both been blessed!!! I am now 5 and a half months pregnant - I do not fit into my clothes anymore and I have put on 7 kilos already!!!! I had my prenatal diagnostic scan 5 days ago and everything was fine - no downs syndrome, healthy heart, brain etc... My last day at work is 29th May - I am due on 12th August.
I just read your first post and saw the news and had to post right away so now I will read the rest of the posts - was it a natural pregnancy like me?

@ Ann.. the same thing happened to me - my doctor did not really care about my welfare - was just more interested in making money from IVF. He pushed me into IVF before recommending I have my right tube checked for any possible blockages etc... All the docs want (well most IVF Docs ) is MONEY!!!
@ Jill -- Awesome news about starting IVF again. Good luck - I see you have transferred already. Keeeping everything crossed for you!!
I forgot to say I have felt my baby move already - a strange fluttering sensation in the tummy and the last ultrasound pictures were awesome it is just like a real baby now.
