Post by LisaC777 »

Hey all

I took my Follistim 225 IU for 3 days now..the vial says its only 600 IU...there was some still left in the vial...225 3 times is 675... what do they put a whole extra 100 in the vial? I called the pharmacist and they said there is usally some left over. That much though?? Anyone else experience this?

Yes, I read on my box of Follistim that there is always an extra 100iu in each vial. I'm not sure why they do that, but it is supposed to be that way. My pen was not working correctly, and the first night I accidentally administered all 300IUs instead of the 200IU that I was supposed to take. Good luck and don't worry about it!
