Thanks Haylie i am so pleased to hear from you i was looking at the list and remember that you had your scan , i am glad that everything is well with the baby and your ex- you don't need him keep embracing your child which is the most important thing in the World .... be a great Mommy for him you will get compensated it for that i assure you that!!!.

As for me still trying to cope my devastated situation from last week doing better the ***** AF finally showed last night , i need to go for some testing to make sure my HCG goes down all the way to -1 and to check my E-2 levels, my dr will be having a meeting with the collagues to discuss my case on what had happen this last few times and what they can do about it to get better results.. Well needless to say i still down some what .. but i look at my Miracle Son andthat keeps me going everytime he said mommy i love you i feel like crying he is my life....and my strenght......

Yes, i agree, it is sad that no one is posting much no more (im one to talk, i dont post much either no more) but i do like to read and keep up with everyones news. (I dont like to 'but in' on the other threads.)

I think ladies here have either moved onto the 'other side' or moved to other threads as they prepare to do their next lot of treatment.

I dont know where we go lol - we sort of linger i think, altho there is a thread called life after IVF, i dont really want to go there, im on the waiting with the NHS list so im not giving up just yet.

We are actually thinking of going on the private waiting list too (which is about 4mths long) and start saving like mad - one of DH's best mates told him on Friday that his wife was expecting in Oct - and we are really pleased for them, but it did make us think - we dont want to wait for another year and a half for NHS list to go down, so we are gonna ring up on Wednesday (they all off here in Norn Iron for easter) and put ourselves on the private list, and start scraping some pennies together lol.

So, i dont know which thread to go to - i think i'll linger on here for another wee while and see what happens, after all, this is where i met all u lovely ladies - i hope u all have a great easter (dont eat too many eggs!!) i'm doing dinner on Sunday for 11 oh happy days lol....

Yeah I miss talking to everyone here as well I have went to the other threads and the people there are not like all the wonderful women I met here. I finally have my schedule and get to try this thing again and hope there will be someone in this thread to talk to.

Rach & Welsh & Susette I hope you all are well and things are going to look up for all of us. and maybe the posts will pick back up.

My hysteroscopy went well and I will start Lupron 4-21 and Gonal 4-28 with my ER 5-8 and ET 5-11

I have been posting in the April thread as we are going through our FET cycle now, but I just wanted to post to say that I have not forgotten you all!

Haylie - congrats on your last scan - I'm so sorry it wasn't as a happy ocassion as it should have been! Hope you and baby are doing well! Have you got a bump yet?!

Susette - I think about you often and I'm not surprised that you need time away to recover physically and emotionally. I'm really hoping that your next cycle will be the one that gives you your lovely baby LOL.

Steph - congrats on getting your schedule!!! You are back in the game sweet! Good luck to you honey!

Becky - I hope you manage to save to have a go privately. We are also on the NHS waiting list, but decided we couldn't wait that long (about 2 years) We had 2 mortgage holidays to pay for our first cycle - is this an option for you? Good luck with the cooking on Sunday!

Aunty - I know you read sometimes too! Thinking of you and praying that you find a way to give it another try LOL.

As for us - we test on 10th April, but I think I already know it hasn't worked, although I would love to be proved wrong!!!

Charlie: Hello I hope we can manage to save for our private go too, we've set ourselves a schedule and have the bank take from our wages automaticaly and put into our 'Baby Account' as we call it. We already have £500+ so im sure we will eet our target in 3 -4 mths, if not we have overdrafts set up. We cant get on the list no quicker, as he private list is 3-4mths anyhow, so we will keep on saving till the time comes - who knows, maybe we will have a wee bit left over to pamper ourselves too lol.
Your test date isnt too far away now - ohhhhh actually, its on Tuesday Why do u feel that it hasnt worked already? I really hope that it has, Susette is right - dont u give up yet - its not over till the fat lady sings, and i have deff not started singing yet - u wouldnt want to hear me when i do lol - please keep us updated ... xx

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE

Hey Becky I do hope you get to go again soon. This time I stood my ground and my RE agreed that I can do my 3 day instead of waiting to do the 5 day with the so/so blasts that we have had. My RE also agreed to put in 4 this time since it will be a day 3 transfer. I have thought of doing accupuncture this time but not sure I may try to go before retrieval and before transfer not sure if going only those 2 times will help tho.? Any ideas or thoughts? I have started drinking green tea along with making DH drink it as well Aunty said that it may help with quality.

Hi Ladies

Sorry I've not been on for a while but I don't really post much anymore. Work is crazy and by the time I get home I'm shattered! Sorry, mustn't grumble!

Welsh - I'm doing fine. Was really suffering with sickness from weeks 6-12 but now starting to lift so feeling more like me again. Have our 12 week scan and nuchal screening on Weds so feeling a bit nervous about that but jopefully all will be fine and we can relax and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy.

I will still pop back on to see how you're doing. Just because I don't post doesn't mean I'm not being nosey!!

12 weeks already, wow! Time flies by doesnt it. I know everything is going to go fine at ur scan on Wednesday, everything has gone so well for u this time, i have no doubts u have a miracle baby in there hun, and he/she wants to hang about to see what all this fuss is about I looking fwd to Wednesday too, we are deff ringing the clinic o get on the private list, even tho its still another 3-4 mths away, it will give me a chance to loose some weight (how many times have i said that LOL)
Let us know on Wednesday how it goes Ems, im dying to hear every detail

Steph: Im glad u stuck to ur guns about transfer days, after all, they are ur babies and its up to u which day u want to transfer on. At my clinic where we had the fist treatment, we were told we were having a 3 day transfer, but i didnt understand that i had my EC on Wednesday morning, and then ET on Friday at 12pm, they said that because it had gone 9am on Friday, that it was classed as a 3 day! (By like 3 hrs yeah right!)
How many did u have put back last time? Glad also that ur RE is listening to u and putting 4 back - u'll have a much better chance. Our clinic will only put 2 back unless the woman is over 40 and then ur only allowed 3, so ur lucky that they are listening.
About changing the way we live before and during the treatmner, i really feel that its down to each individual and how they feel about it. I beleive that wrapping ourselves up in cotton wool can be a waste of time, there are many women here who do, and still get BFN's but there are also ho get BFP's, i think its luck and nature playing its part. I dont think i will do anything differently this time, appart from try to loose some weight. I cant afford accupunture and pay for the treatment. Altho there is one thing i will do differently, i will tell our close family what we are doing, the last time we didnt tell a soul, and i was meant to be life and soul of the arty as i usually am, and people were at times offended that i was down, if they knew what we had been thru, maybe they would understand better. Oh i dunno, its just a thought - we'll see lol.

Well im off out for the afternoon, we are going for a drive and a look at some houses - oh the joy lol.....
