Hello everyone,

Got my BFP last Thursday and have worked out I am due at the beginning of December - although twins could make it end of November!

I couldn't see a board for those of us who have tested just in the last couple of weeks, so I thought I'd try and start one.

I would love to hear from any new-mum's-to-be so that we can share all our crazy symptoms as we survive our next long wait until our first scan's.

I thought once I got that BFP everything would seem simple, but now I find although I am soooo happy, amazed and excited, I am also still rather anxious. Don't know about you lot - but i will be so relieved when I see that/those tiny heart beat(s).

Hey Quita,
It is weird being on this page. I found out yesterday my first beta level was 85.6, so I am waiting patiently till Monday for the doubling. I am a bit nervous, it seems that my number is much lower than other's, but my clinic said they like to see it at 50 and I am past that. I had 2-5day blast transferred and they tested on day 11.

However, if my math is correct, I would be due in Mid December.

I am finally brave enough to post! I had my ec on 3/21 WITH A 5 day transfer of 2 perfect blasts on 3/26. My 1st beta was Wed. 4/4 #775 & 2nd one today is #1958. I am definitely pg now just waiting for scan in 2 weeks. I am tempted to tell them I want one next week but, I will try to be patient. I calculated my due date 12/12 Dr office says 12/15 so, somewhere in there.

Hi Ladies,

I had my ET on Friday 3/28. And yesterday was our test day. BFP and DH and I still can't believe it. My 1st beta test was 206. I go back on Monday for my 2nd beta test. Congratulations to all and enjoy your 9 month journey!

Hi Everyone,

I had EC my DH's birthday 15th March and ET on Saturday 17th March.
Wore the pink knitted bed socks my Grandmother knitted for me. Her last Christmas present to me. I looked funny but felt close to her. I've been having acupunture which I am convinced has helped, mentally and pysically.

My clinic in Eastbourne, England don't do blood tests so I had to wait exactly 14 days and then do a HPT. Every time I got scared I can on this site and wore my bed socks and some how suvived the 2ww!

Couldn't wait 14 days though cos I was going out of my head and had been getting some spotting. So I tested on Thurs 29th, two days early and got a faint positive!!!! My DH and I were so shocked and happy I thought i was going to dissolve, carried around my test all day. Then did another one again Friday and Saturday morning and watched the line get darker.

Wish I knew what my beta level is but anyway. I am feeling really pregnant now. My boobs have grown abit and gone harder and throb every now and again. Been having lots of strange action type pains in womb which usually sets my boobs off again, like they are having a chat.

Been feeling hungry a lot and tired so been having a nap after lunch. Keep needing the loo and it wakes me up in the night.

I am 5 weeks today and am still amazed and smiling inside.

My scan is on the 26th can't wait!!!!!!!

My symptoms come and go. Yesterday my boobs were sore today they aren't. I too have the little pains in my uterus, I am tired a lot and hungrier. Today, I got a little over heated and felt nauseous. Not sure if that was my nerves or what? Do your symptoms get stronger everyday or change?

I will have to wait and see what happens Monday. Just hoping this will be for real this time!!

She did say that my scan will be around the 26th too! I am so happy for you and I pray this works out for me too! Trying to stay positive!!

Hi girls,
I am supposed to schedule my us for the 23rd so, it should be a good week for all of us. I am excited & nervous. I don't know how I can wait that long. I too am taking naps every day,already. Thanks to the progestrone my boobs are sore & a cup size bigger which I can't complain about. I too have to pee all the time. I think that's beacuse I'm drinking a lot more water for my little ones.

I think it's great about your Grandmother socks. I always say that I don't beleive in luck & that you make your own but, we had to go out of town for our transfer. We live about 3 hrs from Seattle which is where we both grew up so, we made a little vacation & before the transfer my husband bought me a diamond "mothers good luck pendant" necklace that he came across & do you think I've taken it off for a second? NO WAY!!!

It's nice to think that you can have a bit of you Grandmother with you.

I took a hpt 2 days early too. I actually bought 2 different brands in case one was bfn. I did both at the same time & it says wait 3 min but they both changed immediately. I really had a feeling that I was pg I just needed the confirmation.

Congrats! everyone. I can't wait till Christmas it's going to be the best ever!!!

Yeah the pains came as a supprise to me everyone talks about morning sickness but never spotting or period type pains although I have had both.

The spotting has stopped now, touch wood, and the pains are different its like I can feel myself growing like Alice in Wonderland and some times I think I can feel hormones squirting around, strange!!!

We will help you to feel positive, you are not alone!

It's cool that we will all have our scans around the same time! I think the naps are really important, I'm sure thats when I do most of my growing.

My boobs are starting to get vains on them now. They look great but I can barely touch them! Did you know drinking 6 -8 glasses of water a day can actully help to stop mis carrriage., I read that at ivillage. have a look they do a daily whats happing to you today, a due date, and have 3 d photos of babies inside the womb. at least the uk site does.

Like the sound of your good luck pendent, sounds pretty special.

I did another test today, must be mad, already done three but I had two left so i though what the heck its cool to get lots of positives after 4 years of BFN's.

Can't wait for Christmas we are going to be covered in baby sick and poo LOL definitely going to get suit(s) with my first Christmas on it.!

Are any of you keeping a pregnancy diary for your bubbies? I am, plus photos and measurments lol so obsessed and I love it xxx

I am trying not to be nervous, but... i used an HPT and the test looked less positive to me today. I am not feeling too great about this... I went at 7 AM EST, so hopefully, I will know before lunch. PLEASE keep me in your prayers!!

My symptoms are strange. My boobs are not sore nor growing, which is great news for me because they are already huge on my small frame. (I am 5’4”, 138 with size 34DDs). I am nauseous most of the time but I force myself to eat anyway. I am always thirsty and hot… And I am always going to the restroom to pee. The weird thing is that I have a metallic smell to me that I cannot get rid of no matter how much I scrub, it is weird, but thankfully the headaches have gone away.

Our estimated due date is Dec 7/9, but our Dr will give us a more definite one on the 23rd.
