Thanks to you who have been on here since I posted earlier for your kind words.
I am actually OK, whether it will hit me later or not I'm not sure. I am at work so can keep myself busy, the weekend may be a different story. Seeing DH looking so sad may send me over the edge.
Did you know with a donor FET here in the UK that by law you have to wait 6 months so the donor can be retested for HIV before you can do FET? Absolutely bloody ridiculous. So in the very unlikely event that she is HIV+ it doesn't matter that the fresh embryos on this cycle could have been affected but it matters for the frozen one?? Dickens was right, the law is an ass.
So we wait for her to be retested in September and do the FET. Then that's it. End of the line.
In the meantime I am going to lose the rest of the weight I want to lose to get to my target and save up as much money as possible to try and replenish some of my savings.
I may not post much over the next few months but I will pop in and see how you are all getting on. I wish you all happiness wherever you are in this journey.
Kat xx

Hi to yasmina bev sonix tammy and everyone else.
I had a beautiful wedding on the top of whistler Mountain. We chose a spot near the top of a black run, hidden in the trees, with 4feet of fresh power snow, snow falling, music playing and freinds by our side. It was a special and beautiful way of connecting our Souls.
My parents are up this weekend and we are planning the finishing touches for the wedding party on the 7th April.
Will catch you all when i have got over the jet lag and come back to earth.
Love to you all

Kat: I'm so sorry to hear your news. I hope you and DH can move on and prepare for your FET.
BJ: I'm sorry to hear about your news also. Take care.
Anna: You must be getting excited as your delivery date is approaching.
Bev: How are you doing with little Wills?
Yasmina: How are you and Eloise doing? How is the breast feeding going?
I had a clogged milk duct the other night, but was able to work it out.
I have been very busy with little Andrew. We had to take him to the Dr. today, as he has the stomach flu. He weighed in at 10lbs!! Little porker!
Luckily it has not affected his appetite. He has been feeding every hour and luckily is not dehydrated.
Hello to everyone else. I need to feed the little guy and try to get some sleep. It has been a very exhausting few days.
Take care all,
Tammy

Kat, I can follow how you are feeling. After some time out I hope you will have the strength again to hold on to your dream and to start on your FET cycle. Somewhere along the way there must be a little bit of luck left over for us all. Thinking of you. Big hugsxxx
Bridget, hope you are doing OK and will soon find a way forward. Xxx
Catharine, good luck on your next treatment steps.
Jen, welcome back and congratulations on your wedding! What a wonderful wedding location. It would have been a perfect spot for us too. DH and I are very keen skiers. I like your ticker!
Anna, how are you feeling? Wishing you a smooth journey in the next few weeks.
We’ve been busy researching about clinics and have contacted the three on our short list. One gave us a waiting time for a donor of 7-12 months(!) so we’re down to two and close to deciding. More news next time. Still lots of questions open and medical tests to arrange. Although things are progressing well, it’s difficult not to get impatient.
Wishing everyone all the best!

Anna, many congrats on the birth of Matthew William. Hope you can post some pics at some stage. Would love to see him. Seems like you have had a good pg and birth experience, the tone of your message seems very relaxed and happy, hope I am getting the right vibes and that life is not too hectic as a new mum. Couldn't be more happy for you.x
Kat, not sure if you will be reading the boards at the moment, just to say how sad I am at your news. Big hugs to you and DH.
Tammy, Wills is fine and growing a tremendous amount, he will be 10 weeks old on Tuesday - can't believe where the time goes. He weighs nearly 10lb and is very chubby. In fact his new name is "The Chubster". He has a ferocious appetite, so much so that I am now supplementing his feeding with organic formula as I just cannot produce enough milk myself. He has 3 b/feeds a day and 3 formula now, we had him started on a formula called "SMA" (not sure if you have the same brands in the US) but it bunged him up a bit and sometimes he didn't have a dirty nappy for over 2 days. I discovered an organic formula called "Hip Organic" and almost immediately his nappy habits were back to normal which obviously is better for him, and incidentally he isn't bringing anywhere nearly as much back up with the organic as he did with the non-organic! Sorry to see that little Andrew has been unwell. I do hope that he is over the worst of it now, and that you are getting a bit more rest yourself.
Jen, good to hear from you. Congrats on your marriage - it sounds like you had a wonderful romantic ceremony. Hope the wedding party goes well. When are you scheduled to go to Isida? I've sort of lost track of things a bit.
Hi to Yasmina, hope Eloise is thriving and life is good.
Hi to everyone else on this thread - must dash as I can hear a little man about to stir from his slumbers.

Bev: You are correct in that the time really does fly by. Andrew will be 5 weeks old this Wed. He was 11 lb last Friday!! We took him for a follow up appt. He is doing well and seems to have just gone through another growth spurt. He was feeding every 1 - 1.5 hours. It was wearing me out! Today he seems to be back to his normal 2 hour schedule. You are so lucky that you only have to feed Wills 6 times a day. Andrew is feeding 10-12 now and during his growth spurt, he would feed around 14 - 18 times a day.
Anna: How are you and Matthew getting along? Are you breastfeeding him? It is a lot of work, but is good for both baby and mother.
Yasmina: I hope you and Eloise are doing well. When are you going to go back to work full time? I start teaching a face-to-face class June 25th. I'm ready to go back. I will still teach online classes, as it allows me to be home with Andrew.

Anna, Congratulations to you and DH on the birth of little Matthew! Was great to hear your news and that all went well. Hope you and Matthew are getting on fine.
Tammy – hope Andrew is settling down again now and you are getting some rest inbetween all those feeds.
Jen – sorry to hear you suffer so much from travel. Enjoy your wedding party!!!!!!
I’ve read a lot of good reports about IM Barcelona, on the German web sites as well. It’s on our short list too, together with a clinic in Warsaw which was recommended by our clinic. The doc there is supposed to really “fight” for each pregnancy. Their web site isn’t as informative as the IM web site but the next step for us would be to ask for a telephone appointment with the Doc personally to discuss open issues before a first visit... Maybe we’ll end up cycling at the same time.
I’m actually feeling a lot stronger than I have for quite a while so I’m keen to get going with treatment again. My acupuncturist is putting it down to the magic needles and the Chinese herbs. They must be helping, although I can’t explain how exactly it works. I’ve also finally changed my gynaecologist and had an appointment yesterday. He has a very good reputation for how he treats his patients. We had a good chat about my plans and I really felt understood. He has promised to support us with all the tests, US etc. we’ll be needing for the ED treatment and has moved me to the top of the waiting lists. That'll save us driving all the way to the clinic each time. Actually, he’s one of DH’s clients so I’m sure that has helped too.
A big hello to Yasmina and Eloise, Bev and Wills, and to Bridget, Kat, Catharine, Geckogirl, and all other ladies on this thread.
HAPPPY EASTER!!!

Hi all, with Eloise on one of my arms, I can only update quickly here. The most reportable thing is that Eloise has started to pee and poop in her little potty at her 6 weeks and she loves it! She smiles each time we put her on her potty and she poops 80% of the time and pees 100% of the time in it. Nice and clean, we only use 5~6 diapers per day after that!
Tammy, I will start working full time next week, I plan to come home for lunch and feed Eloise though. We could not find any daycare for Eloise at the moment but we have enrolled her to one in Aug. My aunt and uncle will come from NJ to take care of her until mid of July. Then we will take her to France for a 2 weeks. After that, she will go daycare as planned.
Oh, I was told by my ob that I was fully recovered and I resume swimming once a week now. I started slow 500 meters only. I lost 5 lbs compared to pre-preg era. I feel ok, but I wish I could eat more though.
Sonia, Jen, and Bev, many thanks for your updates and look forward to more of your news.
Alright, should put Eloise to her crib now, next time!

Happy Easter!!!!! DH insisted on getting Andrew a stuffed bunny for Easter.
Sonia: Thanks for thinking about me. Andrew slept 4 hours on Friday night. That was the best night of sleep that I've had since I've been home from the hospital.
Yasmina: I have my 6 week OB appt. tomorrow. I'm ready to go back to the gym!!! It has been awhile. WOW, you have lost all your weight and 5 lbs! I gained 35 lbs during my pregnancy and have lost 27 lbs thus far. Just 8 more to go and I want to lose a few more after that, since I was trying to trim down when I became pregnant. We use 10 - 12 diapers a day with Andrew. I have found that the Huggies Gentle Care are very good and do not leak. Andrew had been having problems leaking through his diaper at night. That is the last thing I want to do at 2:00am is change his sleeper too!! I am still teaching my 2 online classes. They will be done in 4 weeks!! Then we have 5 weeks off!!!!! I can't wait. I will start teaching some online courses mid June and 1 face-to-face course at the end of June. DH and I have worked out our schedules so that he will watch Andrew the afternoons of Wed. and Thurs. and I will take Andrew to his Grandma's on Monday's. It will seem good to be back among students! How long is Eloise sleeping at night? Andrew has a difficult time taking a nap during the day. He will just cat nap and want to get up after 30 min.
Hello to everyone else.
Happy Easter,

Good to hear that you and DH are proceeding with ED in Barcelona.
Thanks for asking about Andrew. He is doing much better. He does have a temper and has his crying spells though. He gets that from DH obviously I'm so glad that you had a nice wedding. It does sound wonderful. We got married in Hawaii 2.5 years ago and it was great; just DH and I on a beautiful beach.
