wow, so much activity this week!

I only have a couple of minutes but wanted to give a quick update - scan this morning showed that 3 follicles have joined the race ...yeahhh!!! ...so now I have 8 of the right size. They expect a few of the big ones to have over matured but I am telling myself that we only need one. Trigger tonight and EC on Wednesday. Sounds like wednesday is going to be a big day for a few of us.

Couldn't help doing the pregnancy calculator and a Wednesday collection means a 1st January baby!! how wonderful would that be?

I had my first follie scan this morning, and again, my right is my big producer showing about 11. My left is only showing about 3. The bad news. Last time I had a ton in my right andthey couldn't get to it because there were blood vessels in the way. So... I'm worried the same thing will happen and I'll lose all those in my right again. Isn't there any other way to get them out??? Can't they just open me up and take them out. It seems like such a waste to lose them all. UGH! I'm so dissapointed. I'm figuring ER around next Monday, as last time I stimmed for 9 days. We'll see how it goes. I need a follie dance for my left one. It needs to kick up some energy and get moving. I'm on 450 units of Follistim in the am and pm, and taking the 2 viles of repronex at night. Anyone ever heard of them getting them out another way when the blood vessels are in the way and they can't do it vaginally???

Great news. Nine is a very good number. Good to hear you were up for lunch after the retrieval. I was pretty ill. Too many pain killers I guess. I'm sure you found the clinic to be very good as I did. The nurses are so nice there.

Charlie,
I think the article you sent was very good. I never took any time off on my first round of IVF and had success. Personally it kept me preoccupied and from going crazy during the 2ww. I think bed rest would be required if your body is telling you that you need the rest. Everyone probably has different physical and emotional requirements on that one.

My belief is that embryo will survive if it is supposed to and nothing you girls do will ruin your chances at success. . .of course the obvious bad things.

Hi ladies,

just a quick update for me. ET went well this morning. I'm officially PUPO we transfered 2 excellent blast and we have remainning 4 excellent embyos to freeze. RE told us that the 2 blast we transferred today were the best of the best so we are really hoping for the best outcome. My 1st pg test will be 9 days frm now 4/18.

Hi all sorry for being absent but i have been having problems logging on to here. just a quicky to wish everyone best of luck with ec.

Nicola on my cycle before this one i had very high e2 levels and had to coast for 4 days so please dont worry to much.

Just wanted to ley you know that from my 21 eggs 19 were mature and we now have 12 happy embryos so we are going to blast and transfer will be thur hopefully. i will find out tommorow how they are all doing.

Rebecca - YEAH!!! I was so happy to read your post. New Years Day is outstanding!!

BWHD - My Right took the cycle off and only put out 2 eggs. I've heard of doing a lap, but your ovary may have shifted and be an easier retreival. I bet it will go great.

Sher8 - I love feeling freed from a really strict bed rest, but can't help feeling nervous moving around too much. I was told by both my IVF clinics, 3 days bed rest and no showers....ugh!! I snuck and took one last time after 24 h and got a bfp. So, we'll see whta I do this time! Next week is test day. Sending you huge sticky sticky sticky vibes

Anie - HUGE CONNGRATS. YOU"RE PUPO!!!!! Get tons of rest. Sounds like it couldn't have gone better

Big Hi to everyone!

Well Im sitting here sore for the first time after a ER! They got 10 eggs and hoping 8 were mature. I'll get fertilization report tomorrow morning. I'm going to work and feeling more nervous and emotional then before and wondering if that is sucha good idea. Last night our beloved dog of 12 years diappeared and we had no sleep and were up posting his picture all over the nighborhood. I was in shock and hearbroken. He is so little and only 10 lbs. This morning my dh miraculously heard his bark and went outiside and called otu for him and heard it alot louder. Turns out a neighbor had found him and Wolfy made himself so much at home there, he stayed the night with them! He is a very cute and sociable dog. They weren't sure it was our dog, but thought it might be. They arent the most normal people and we cdan't figure out why they didn't come to our door last night. Anyway, I wsa so relieved when my dh plopped him in bed with me at 8 am this morning and am still recovering from the event. I couldn't have been happier seeing that furry face.

Yesterday was my last BCP and hopefully AF will show up on time!!! (wed) What will they do if its late? I have been on Lupron for 4 days and I have cried everyday! sometimes twice and my boobs are sore!(TMI) I don't know if its the Lupron or the BCP(which I always had issues with), anyways if this is how its gonna be, OMG! Im sure my DH can't wait for the stims to start LOL!

Hello Everyone,
I am feeling alot better today, especially cause I called off sick today at work =P

I am anxiously awaiting a call from the lab to let me know how many of my egss fertized so far.
Sher- The clinic was nice. I felt worse after I ate lunch!! I went home and went to bed.

Daly & N77 I am glad you two are doing well.

So how many of us are having the ET this week?

Did anyone of you have side affects from Prometrium?
