hello ladies had a little scare a bit of blood sunday morning rush to doc
confirmed 2 strong jheartbeats thank god what a releif anyone else have some bleeding docs say it is normal someget it some don't
called it implantation bleed????
it has supsided thank godgo to ob on 4/10 fdor scan
i need to get on of those scan machines for home been doing scans for a long time with all we have been thruogh i know i can do it myself

Hi all,

I was supposed to go in for my first u/s today (at 7 weeks 4 days)
as my Gyns (a married couple) were on vacation. Yesterday, when their
office receptionist called to confirm my appt for today, I asked
her "Do I need to tell you that I am pregnant so that the doctor is
ready for the u/s?" - as I did not tell her that when I made my appt.
(I wasn't sure I would stay pregnant ). Anyway, she was so excited
and after she hung up, within 5 seconds, my phone rings and it is my
Gyn on line. He was absolutely thrilled and wanted to know all about
how it happened - and was even more thrilled when I told him it wasn't
IVF. He said "I knew you'd get pregnant" - I guess he is more naive
than all of us .

He apparently came into the office just to catch up on work but when
he heard my news, he called me and asked me to come to his office
right away to do the u/s - didn't want to wait till today. And we
saw the tiny little heart beating really fast. He said it was
definitely over 160 !!!!

Then he sat me down, went over my chart, filled out some prenatal
forms, asked me a ton of questions - spent over 45 mins with me. He
said "Yours is what we call a 'precious pregnancy' - not that all our
pregnancies aren't precious, but we call pregnancies like these that
happen after a lot of difficulty 'precious pregnancies".

I LOVE that term "precious pregnancy".

And he said because of that, he has to monitor me much closer than
what I (not him) would call the non-precious-pregnancies . I'll be
going back to see him in 2 weeks and another 2 weeks later, after a
little over 11 weeks, I'll have my Nuchal scan.

When I was leaving he said he was so excited to hear my newsthat he
called his wife (my other Gyn) and told her immediately.

Isn't it wonderful to have your doctors so excited for you? Infact, he
definitely was more excited about the news than my own DH . DH
still doesn't believe it and said he'll think it is true once I have
crossed the 12 week mark. Talk about being in denial just to protect
yourself against any disappointments.

Anyway, it was really thrilling to see that tiny little beat beat beat
beat on the screen..... Can't wait for 2 weeks for the next one!

Wow I cannot believe all that has happened since I have been gone!!
Look at all these twins, it is funny the twins are supposed to be the rarity and on here it is us singletons!!!
I want to thank everyone for your advice and support! I have come back home but still have extreme doubts, in some ways I feel like I have been greatly deceived, or maybe still am. I think I am going to go talk to the girl and get her story. As for the jogging pants I was so mad I did not see anything in his hand. My theory if something was happening is she was giving him a strip tease and got up to just tease a little more and that happened to be when I walked in. I could be wrong but it makes more sense than what they are trying to make me believe. I am really ahve a hard time with this because I have never taken anyone back, especially not after something like this, that is grounds for being "POOFED" out of my life forever!!! But can't exactly do that now, wish he had done this stupid crap before, of course no I don't because then I wouldn't have Tuffy on the way. Damned if I do and Damned if I don't!!!! As for me I am feeling fine, I really have not stressed a whole lot about this mess just more like questioned it all. I go tomorrow to take progesterone test to see if I can get off Crinone, then I go for scan on the 13th, I think I am going to see if I can come in sooner, not that anything is wrong, but I lost both prev babies in my 9th week and here I am again, So I think I need reassurance that I have made it. I guess we will see, I might ask RE to do a quick check tomorrow. Maybe he will.
I am soo happy to hear everyone is doing well!!!!! I have been having a little more nausea, not to awful bad though, but when it does come UGHH!!
Also had a little bought with constipation the other day(TMI??) Be sure to drink lots of water, and eat salads!! That feels worse that MS.
I will update you as I can maybe I will be on here mre now that I am back home.

I am gettting a new godson tomorrow, maybe, they are going to induce my besftfriend If they have a bed to put her in and I have to miss most of it cause I have to go to RE, so I am going to go straight to hospital when I leave RE 3 hour drive difference, but all worth it. I am just as excited about him coming as I am my own. I will update on that too, he is my second godson in a yr got one that lives 600 miles away that is 5 months old. He's a cutie too. Anyway have a great one ladies!!!
Oh yeah as for everyone showing I had to go buy some maternity capris and some shorts the other day and they are great I also bought a couple of shirts, but am not wearing them except in private, but the pants I can as long as I have a big shirt on, it is really becoming obvious that something is going on, people are thinking either I am getting fat or preg..
Prob the fat thing considering DH and I have been together for 4 yrs and he already has a son, I am sure noone expects us to have a baby. SURPRISE BIOTCHES!!!!!!!! I know I know Down Girl

mominwaiting--You are too funny! Relax. Try not to think about your previous incidents. This littl tuffy is here to stay. I knwo I have a lot of nerve. I am probably one of the biggest worry worts. But we can't help it. Try not to stress out about your relationship. It will all work out in the end. If it's meant to be, it will be. If not, you'll know when enough is enough.

cookholmes--Welcome to this side! Congrats again! WHen do you find out how many you are having?

ka--Sounds like you have wonderful GYNs.

gdph630--Glad to hear that everything is okay and it was just implantation bleeding. Some get it and some dont.

Everything is good with me and the twins. RE released us to the regular OBGYN and I see him on Monday.

Hi girls I am feeling somewhat better now I had US yesterday, and Tuffy is fine everything measures good and baby is moving. Also I am Godmother to a healthy 8lbs. 14oz. 21 1/2in. little boy!!! And he is absolutely precious!! Now I can't wait til it is me!!! She was admitted into hospital at 3:00pm and had Garrett Riley at 3:49am. But she did really well and did not have alot of pain. They had to use forceps on him cause he was so big. But he is healthy as he can be.
DH and I are still having issues, I don't know if we will ever be fixed. I want to so badly but do not know as of yet. I am taking care of myself and doing my best to not stress.
I am so glad that everyone is doing so well!!!
We are gonna have a great Thanksgiving party with all these babies!!!
I am still getting bigger and bigger I weighed on a scale that I weighed on last month and I have only gained 3 pounds, but look like I have gained 20!!!
Maternity clothes are great only wearing the pants cause shirts are too obvious, still keeping quite as I can til after 12 week. Which I cannot believe is only 2weeks and 2 days away for me. I have never made it this far in a preg before so my hopes are getting higher!! Trying to control them but hard not to start getting excited.
Anyway I will talk to you all later have a great one!!!

Hi girls can I join the november thread? I am 7 weeks 2 days today and due on 21st November. I havent had a scan yet (its on 18th April) so dont know yet if I am having one beanie or 2!

Hubb is desperate for it to be 2 but I will be happy with whatever I am blessed with.

Time seems to be going so slowly until i get to scan date. You try not to worry dont you but i will be much happier when i have seen that heartbeat for myself.

So glad to see you have joined our side!!!

I had quite a scare last night, cramping and passing a little bit of brown blood when I used the toliet. I had my husband take me to the emergency room since it was late in the evening. They did an ultrasound and bloodwork and everything came back fine. They also checked my cervix and it was completely closed. Babies heartbeats were 136. I'm not sure if 136 is good, average or what. The OBGYN on call said she saw a 3X6mm hemorrage that may be due to the placenta trying to attach.

I'm terrified because my last miscarriage in Dec 06 started with a couple days of brown blood and then turned to bright red blood.

Guess right now all we can do is pray.

I hope you are sat at home with your feet up relaxing today. Do you have to go back to the clinic for a follow up?? Its good that there was a strong heartbeat, that must be a good sign.

I still check every day wondering if today there is going to be bleeding. I still cant believe it and i still get cramping on a daily basis. I am hoping its just growing pains and nothing more sinister.

Let us know what happens.

Hi girls Rebecca hun try to be positive, they say that brown blood is old blood. 136 is a good heartbeat anything over 100 is a good sign so don't worry about heartbeat. Just try to relax and think positive I know that is hard to do, especially if you have had a mc before I know I have had 2. It can be nerve wracking.

rebecca i to had bleeding quite heavy (for me anyway) and it was red
i had it happen twice and both times i freaked out
the took blood work and said my levels are great. i even passed a small clot
so you need to stay strong for beanies and lots of prayers

You guys are the best! Thank you for all your warm thoughts and prayers! My husband and I are staying positive! I took off work today to bedrest as my RE suggested. I plan to relax all weekend. The RE feels that it is possibly the placenta attach its roots in the uterus. All I can do is pray!

Hello to everyone else! Hope all you ladies and babies are doing fine. You are all in my prayers also!

Just came from appointment with Regular OBGYN. He measured the twins and took some blood. He said everything looks good. We also realized why I am so nauseous. Seems my little ones are quite active. They were moving all over the place during the ultrasound. It was funny to watch. I don’t even think they have arms and legs yet but they were rolling and flipping all over the place. Dr said that is a good sign. He wants to see me again in two weeks. Until then I'll just enjoy the nausea and keep reminding myself, it's my active babies.

HI all

Does anyone have sickness really bad one day and then not have it the next?? Mine is really on and off and it doesnt matter what I eat. Yesterday I was fine all day and managed to eat loads at a barbecue and today have woken up feeling really bad and nothing is helping??

Only a week and a day until my scan now - cant wait. Looking at wannababy's earlier post at 9 weeks it (they) should be moving around a lot so cant wait!!!
